Please update the floors in the store it way too many seniors that shop here it's uncomfortable 😫 I'm not sure why the neighborhood has not said something. The store needs upgrades bad !!!! The amount of money this store brings in, this place should be beautiful its the only grocery store in the neighborhood. I've been out of the area for 20 years, and it's the same no changes, what has this store done to improve the neighborhood 🙃 you don't invest in improvements that's for sure.

Went there with a friend to get some food for tacos the store is very clean and plus I found alternative baking company cookies there for $1 cheaper than suggested retail price. The cashiers are always friendly, the store is well lit.

The quality of groceries is terrible here. I usually return the garbage, but sometimes I partake and get sick, about 3 to 6 times a year. I believe they could do a lot better with the right help. Don't buy the sale (cheap items) I warned you.

Convenient only because it's local.Every single item in this place is marked up higher than other grocery stores ( Kroger / Walmart ).The majority of price labels don't match the product, making it hard to shop with a budget. It's only when you get to the register to check-out when you find out some items cost more than you interpreted from the price label on the shelf.Lastly, CAREFULLY EXAMINE THE EXPIRATION DATE on every item, I've gotten home before and found many items were either expired, or will expier the next day, and weren't on sale. Imagine the frustration when you find out you over paid for expired food!

Could be better. It's the prices of the produce that's ridiculous. Fruit market is down the street so there's no reason to upcharge these items. They cut up the celery and repacked it to sell. They do this with other items too. They sale outdated meat at reduced prices. They finally got staff so that's the good part

Bought over $400 in groceries smh and so much of this stuff is expired with mold, no one should have to check expiration on food when it’s their responsibility to make sure stuff is top quality . On top of that the fruit and vegetables be over ripe and nasty. Store is to expensive for the the quality they give out even krogers are cheaper with way better food quantity. Store at this point needs new management/owners or needs to be shut down

Great for convenience and finding items that aren’t always in the big name brand stores. Prices can be outrageous on some items and sales do not always compute according to the way they have their items tagged. Just make sure you watch the items being calculated at the register .

One of the best neighborhood stores I've been too. A little pricey cause it's an independent store. But just because it's in the hood don't take black people for granted. Well organized, stocked well despite the pandemic and clean. Could work on their produce

The store has great potential but the owners don't care and sometimes he treats the employees horrible. The is overcrowded as soon as you walk into store the checkout lanes are right there. You have to walk sideways to get to the grocery isle. Lately, there has been a smell in the store and I don't understand how people continue to buy meat out of there. The only thing I buy is chips and I haven't did that in a while. The price are ridiculous for the area, the area income changed years ago. The owners owned E & L Market, Boost mobile and plenty of other businesses in community and very seldom do they give back. Our leaders and community groups need to do better by letting these business get away with horrible service. Metro Food Store was the same way, it took years but Jim the owner loss that gem. I hope that doesn't happen the neighborhood deserves better.

Well it's a great market and the cashier's are very friendly plus you can play the lottery there and it's a pharmacy in there as well. Great for shopping for groceries. And if you really need a job just ask for the manager and talk to him and he may have something for you 😊.

They are not very clean. We saw them today cutting the fruit next to the bathroom in the back and flies were EVERY where. Do not buy that fruit that they sell in the containers. Please, for your health sake. Trust me.

I give it 3 Stars because the security guard was a complete azzhole. His arrogance and ignorance in addressing me in regards to me bringing my own shopping bags totally took away from my enjoyment of shopping there for the first time! The cashier was sweet and told me to ignore him but his attitude was horrendous. Bad staff will always ruin a good establishment!I did enjoy their selection of fresh fruits and veggies, the meat didn't look bad either. I will mos def be returning, With my OWN SHOPPING BAGS TOO!
