Narrow aisles or the store is just over crowded with items. Pricey and I am told the WIC machine ( I don't know what it is called) is often down but the cashier can over ride the item if it is WIC and it shows a charge. High traffic. Latin products. Meat selection is limited. The parking is limited. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Good place to find latin food but a little overpriced. Meat is really overpriced compared tp other places but eggs are cheap specially organic.

Had to delete my last review for this store due to getting confused and reviewing Pri nce Valley Market instead. This place Garden Fresh is good if you want to get in and get out. The ladies at the cash registered are extremely friendly. They don't honor their own sales papers. Meat looks old and smells. It's ok but not a great store. Way over priced on everything.

Don't buy the meat - it smells. However they always have a sale on Orange 🍊 Juice. They clearly price gouge and take advantage of the people who are forced to get groceries there due to transportation issues.

Everything is too uncomfortably expensive . You should have way more customers do to your variety , But due to size and how compact it is experation dates are alike other grocery stores around. Stock is really good prices should be good . Supply and demand . How is it 9$ for frozen jalapeno poppers (small pack) but it's $5 to have them cooked and prepared on a tray at literally any restaurant almost

Went here today for the very first time and I Loved it. The selection of food, and they had a isle full of Goya items in which I Love the only downside was I wish they had more of a selection of Fresh fruit. The cashier was very pleasant and very helpful and that was a plus for me I told her I will be back 😀👍

I like this quaint little market on Michigan. It's a small grocery store but don't be alarmed, they offer all the varieties of groceries of a much larger chain. There are Never any long lines and the service is Always Superb. (Bonus Info: They have a wonderful Taco Stand Truck outside in it's parking area. You can order, grab your groceries and go back outside to pick up your food)

Love shopping here. They have all of the hard to find specialty and ethnic food products that our family loves. Produce is fresh and prices are competitive with the “big guys“. The best part is I know that when I shop here I’m supporting a local family rather than a big corporation. I’ve had them special order things for me that I couldn’t find anywhere else and they were happy to do so. Also, the fixed up parking lot is much appreciated! Thanks for investing in our city and keep up the great work!

I had to prepare a meal for my mom and dad and could not find bacalao in no other store but I was able to find it there. Cashier educated me on specialty points system. Very clean.

This grocery store is honestly the best that I have been too! They have everything that you need all in one store. Not only are their shelves always fully stocked, but their employees are nothing but respectful to all of the customers. Every time I walk into garden fresh I get greeted and by their lovely team and walk out with a cart of full fresh groceries. I highly recommend Garden Fresh! This is my new favorite go-to grocery store

A nice little place to go shop! Gets busy sometimes because it's good! Clean with friendly staff. 4 stars because of the parking lot isn't that great but still better than a lot of places near by. Neighborhood gem!

Been shopping here for a cpl years, I get the best ground beef here, for quality and price. They have a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Smaller family owned- local business. I highly recommend. Parking could improve but not too inconvenient. Located on busy Michigan Ave. Just south of Livernois.

I don’t like that they sale outdated food at a discount price. Clearance food is right by the front door next to the office. The meat is not always a good quality product but sometimes you can get good sales. The bakery is ok but prefer prince valley bakery goods better. Proximity makes them my second choice grocery for some meat and produce.

I love the store it's a very clean and friendly environment. When going shopping it feels like Cheers the TV SHOW where everybody knows your name. I will continue to shop at Garden Fresh Market. Everything was very fresh like you would expect at a super market. I went here on a limb because it was nearby and open. Everything was a bit pricey and hard to find for what I'm used to employees were very nice and helpful.

The customer service here is exceptional. Very attentive people. But what is a cause for concern is the sale of outdated food. I’m not in the food business but I reckon that’s illegal to sell outdated food for cheaper prices. I don’t buy my meats here but condiments and dry goods I will definitely get from here.

Garden fresh is extremely expensive for the quality of food they sell. I would expect everything to be fresh, hence the name but I've bought rotten meat here countless times & the produce is always passed it's time & being sold as if it were freshly picked. I wouldn't mind paying more for good quality but that simply isn't the case here. I've come here for years due to it being close to home but recently bought bad meat again & tried returning it in a good manner & they treated me as if I were the issue.
