Since this new management came in food Giant has totally went to the pits that produce is real s***** The prices are skyrocketing you talk about price gouging for a 8 oz block of Kraft cheese they want almost $6 certain items the price has risen anywhere from 25 to 75% The old staff has completely left so there's a bunch of new people in there and they refuse to assist you with anything now back to the produce they will leave bags of greens with the stems at the bottom mushy the leaves turning brown and they will not put out any fresh ones because they think somebody going to come in and buy those tomatoes and peppers look like they went and dug them out of a dumpster The lettuce is it big as cantaloupe but they won't $4 for it you know it's a neighborhood store in a lot of people count on it but they're taking advantage of the situation I've been living in this neighborhood since 1972 and it was never this bad I understand that the prices are going up but this doesn't make any sense and if I had any connections to Detroit council members I will have them investigate this store and possibly shut it down so if you read this and you don't believe me go in and see for yourself

Great market just wish they had security but as far as people that work there they are so nice and always helpful❣️ The food is always fresh and priced reasonably also I really enjoyed getting a text message weekly letting me know what’s on sale 👍

It was alright. Nothing special or exceptional. I think for the time of day more registers should have been opened considering people were getting off work and don't want to spend a ton of time waiting in line to purchase a few items. I spent just over $28. I think the staff is nice and helpful. There's one cashier that bags after she rings you up. Overall, it was an ok experience.

We pulled up two minutes before closing time (8:58), the dark skin gentleman at the door still let us proceed to go in, but also warned us that they were about to close. He also told us to have a great night while leaving.

I grew up shopping here with my Dad. I still love to stop here whenever I am able to visit my family. They always have a selection of unique products not found at the big boxed stores. The customer service here is excellent.

Going to food giant is a refreshing experience from the first time I walk in everyone is so 🔥 it's really nice to have a grocery store that is clean 😁 the prices are very fair I recommend everyone visit food giant is better than a Greenfield marketwhere the food is very questionable the people there are very rude and and I recommended Nolan go to the Greenfield

I waited to the last minute to pick up much-needed grocery items for CHRISTmas dinner. After driving around to various markets that were closed. I was grateful to find Food Giant open. They were well supplied with quick check out lines. I’m grateful that the small business continues to meet The community needs. The large brand name stores are all closed waiting to open later today to make more money. Thanks Food Giant and God bless :-)

This store is good only because it allows people to access to food and jobs, beyond that they provide some overpriced, under quality foods. But they do have a points program to where you get a stamp for every five dollars you spend and once you fill up that booklet you get to choose gift items from, electronics, to home goods.

Until now I would have recommended these guys, clean store, friendly staff. But today...OK so they had cheese on sale a couple of weeks ago I pretty much tried to buy the store out. I called back a week later explained only 1 pack cheese went bad, explained I'm sick and on the bus; he said no problem. Today he wasn't in I explained to the other guy, was treated horribly, he had to come from door to start some more talk. I said you're going to make me not come back over $1.25 he said he didn't care. Okay...over a dollar. I pass too many other stores, see ya

I have been going there for 15years and they be following me around like I'm going to steal something. And it don't be just me they treat all blacks that way. Its a shame I Have To go out of the neighborhood to do my shopping and be respected.

I really enjoy shopping at Giant Food supermarket everyone is very friendly and helpful Giant Food I can honestly say We'll always have fresh produce and good prices the supermarket is not in my neighborhood but I will certainly continue to travel the distance just because of the service and quality products I receive thanks Food Giant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Store is clean. Doesn't have a foul odor. Doesn't always have what I'm looking for. Some things are a bit pricey but I always utilize the sales circular.

If I'm on my last leg and CAN'T make it to Kroger or Meijer, I relent and pick up what I NEED from here. Usually not crazy about going here but the African American cashiers are so patient and sweet, it makes up for it.

Horrible and negative communication between female check out and female ower. I had to cover my children ears. The conversation we heard was corrupt for my children to witness. These grown woman talked bad about customer and did so in front of everyone. If this is what our children learn going shopping with family .It's a shame we can go to Walmart to see adults corrupt children mindsets. Poor leaders, poor mindset. Check date on food, deals at this store past date and can harm health of family.

When a senior citizens ask for help . There should be someone available to assist. I brought 5 cases of water. The cashier got the water. But I struggled to get the water in my car. There was no help. But sales prices were ok.

Great Supermarket to do business with friendly and clean and is they only place to actually have something in return at Thanksgiving or Christmas time by offering stamps which you can redeem for either a turkey or ham.

I shopped on a Sunday very crowded I only had 6 items which i held in my hands every line had people with loaded carts. PLEASE have a line dedicated to 10 items or less

Food Giant is expensive for this neighborhood. I wanted sugar and it was $4.74 per 4lb bag, when another near by market has it for 3/$5. Which would you purchase? Their meat are low grade and look bad.

I just had the worst expierence ever. I was waiting in the car for my friend to come out of this store I looked at my phone and realized it was getting late so i walked towards the door and the security guard began a altercation with me so I will never shop here again.

Food giant has excellent meats, and a butcher named Sam who really knows his business. I rely on him for all of my specialty cuts!
