This is the only place in our neighborhood that sells food at a fair price. All of the major stores have left Detroit and don't care about us. I'm glad Family Dollar is here and has decent prices on stuff we need.

Prices are as good as Kroger or Amazon on lots of things. Even hardware. There is no place else in this neighborhood that sells food and stuff for the house. Lots of us can't get to the suburbs to shop at Kroger or other big stores so we need this place! It might be a little messy but so what? Ever since they close the CVS there is no place else to get stuff

I'm ever so grateful for this store! Family Dollar is the only place in our neighborhood that sells a variety of packaged foods, bread, and dairy products at reasonable prices. Even their hardware and household items are the same price and quality as Kroger or Walmart. Those of us who don't have a car or the time to get to the suburbs and shop need places like this! Thank you Family Dollar for serving Detroit residents.

My experience at this family dollar is never good when I go there. I just be going there to put money on my debit card and they try to charge me a fee, where there is no fee. I really hate going there, but the one on west Warren is the closest one to me, so I don't have a choice if I really need to put funds on my debit card to pay a bill, so that I don't get charged a late fee.But if you ask me that particular store on west west Warren needs to go out of business period!!! Because they suck big time. Anyway that is all I have to say about that store for now. sign Miss Annonomyous age 63 and proud of it!

This family dollar should just close down. They are never open on time. A few months ago they were always closing 40 mons prior to the set time. New management is needed.

Tbh, every family Dollar in Detroit needs to close! This picture was taken on a Wednesday at 9:20pm as I watch the employees listen to music through the locked door. I asked why y'all close and the manager said cause she felt like it. Guess my kids meds gotta wait. We don't need businesses like that in our community.

Sad store, poorly run, stocked or managed. Only time store is stock is when the regional manager is making a visit. Better option is Dollar General a few blocks away. This store will leave you angry and leaving without what you came for. The stores decline continues to get worse by the week. Never has any cash on hand, no stock, can't accept credit nor debit. Sad excuse for a store, needs to be shut down asap

I did purchase 7:50 pm today, they can’t print the receipt they said doesn't work , the price will n the shelves less than on cashier . Sometimes close store. Some people can go in others cannot.

I'm going to say they earned this 1 star, because the young lady at the counter was very nice and friendly....and I found most of what I was looking for. BUT the condition of this store is DEPLORABLE!!!! There is merchandise EVERYWHERE including the floors. Family Dollar isn't the staple for cleanliness and order....but a suburban store would never be allowed to look this way! This store is a disgrace to the community.

I had a very positive experience while shopping there today. I come here all the time because I live 2 blocks away, and often buy pet supplies and groceries. I was rung up by a sweet and beautiful cashier (African American young lady with blonde and dark braids). She was so nice to me. I am hard-timing it until payday, and only had 12.00 on me, and my total came to 12 dollars and some change, and instead of making me put an item back, the cashier paid the change with her own money. I thought that was so sweet of her. What a kind thing to do. I hope the manager sees this and praises her because she didn't have to do what she did and I thank her so much for even thinking about it.

This place is always messy and nasty, when there was a power outage last summer they had food in the coolers for servel months they put a Notice say don't buy the food yet it was still in the freezer they didn't bother to clean it out, this wasn't the first time that it happened. The place is always under staffed boxes all over place the staff seem to be always Socializing one Cashier seems to always be on her phone socializing Instead of doing her job.

Depending on what you looking for the shelves are barely stocked. I couldn't find anything that was worth purchasing. We went to look for arts and crafts supplies for family night what they had wasn't worth it. But we did find uno cards so it wasn't a total loss.

The store is always messy, boxes in the aisles, and junk everywhere. No public restroom. Glass and paper in the parking lot (and not just from one day either, this is a build-up of trash). They should be ashamed of how this store is maintained.

The people who work their are rude and they always have boxes in the isle where you can fall or hurt yourself. To say, " they are very unorganized" is wrong the employee are lazy. I have seen them allow people to steal, and steal items for them selfs. They also let alot of items they ring up for other people just slide thru without charging them. I have see with my eyes that they have food that is expired and they sell it to me. I have to now check every expiration date. They also, do not have the store with items stock (because they steal and i wanted to buy bath towel and they only had two bath towels of each a total of four towels i noticed.) I spend at least $400.00 or more a month. (I have the receipt to prove this.) I take taxi's their because i do not have automobile. Itvis the closes family Dollar. I went today, sunday 5.13.2018, went to the same store and they let me shop and did not advise me that thier cash register was not working and i left very upset as i had a taxi waiting. Advising of also, they are very dirty in the store and i went the other day i was the only one in there besides one other person they were no shoping carts and no basket. I now can say ive spent since the 9th of may over $150.00. When i went to leave today, 5.13.2018 the doors were locked and i went to unlock the door by turning the door lock, the doors seem push right out. That is when a women with dirty shirt came and turned the lock herself and let me out. UPDATE: I WENT ON 5.24.2018 I BOUGHT $32.74, I PURCHASED BESIDES OTHER ITEM THEY SAID THEIR RECEIPT WAS NOT WORKING I HAD HER HAND WRITE ONE ON YOUR BLANK RECEIPT PAPER. ALSO, I BOUGHT 16 GALLON OF WATER WHEN WENT TO MY TAXI I NOTICE ONE GALLON WAS OPEN. VERY OFFENDED WITH FAMILY DOLLAR.

It has a lot of nice stuff but some things are okay and you can get them cheaper at other family Dollars from this location and then half the time when I go there they don't have what I like

OMG!! I rate it 5 stars for being the filthiest Family Dollar store that I have ever went into. Needs a serious cleaning. Not good for business.

When I pulled up to the Family Dollar there was a homeless lady outside sweeping with a very small broom now I’ve been in the store before but this is the first time that I’ve ever seen the store in such disarray it was completely junkie trashy, Merchandise was all over the floor stock was in but I always on the front cash register was full of merchandise deer was just it was just really bad this store needs better manage me ASAP and if Aubrey can see the store you know I know they would be very disappointed I know as a worker if you don’t value your job you don’t care about what you’re doing or the people that you’re serving you’re just working to get a paycheck but for myself and customer service I just think that people deserve better especially if you’re spending your money there and the people that go there to spend their money shouldn’t spend their money there if no one’s going to clean up.

I like this place. The employees are friendly and 75% of the time there isn't usually a long wait in line to check out. However, the store could be a bit cleaner and organize!

This place is always Junkie products is everywhere all around the floor you can't even move your buggies through the owls properly and they never stay stock of their products most of the time I'll drive to another Family Dollar when this one is the closest to my house I just can't stand it

I feel as if (A)the corporate office does not care for public safety as in women's clothing all over the floors to slip and fall (B) disorder, clutter do to lack of employees(C) customers who create chaos??(D) lack of governmentinspectors (health codes seem violated)

There web don't even respond to what you're looking for. When I type in floor stand it showed tall glasses,shelves,and a box fan. It's a poor app.

Very nasty unsafe dirty store never have anything in stock it's always at least a 10 minute wait in the lines products be open half drank pops trash all over the floor it's always boxes everywhere this is the most nastiest family Dollar I've ever been to avoid going here if possible take the extra drive
