They are too rude. The manager does nothing with her employees and she lets her yell at them however she wants and insult her. The dark-skinned worker made my 5-year-old daughter cry today and all he needed to do was call her a thief because she had left her backpack in a place he didn't like, when she knows where other employees have told her to leave it. He didn't apologize to her or me, he yelled at us when I went back to get my daughter to go get my shopping cart that was in line. My daughter kept telling me the whole way that she was not a thief.

This store is ridiculous! And racist! When it was my moms turn to pay her stuff and she only got toilet paper and snacks, then the lady ignore my mom and made another cashier to scan my moms stuff! (I'm not going to say there name or identity) and when we left she gave us a disgusting face so I did that back to her!

Just check the reviews family dollar. all these people can't be wrong about the older lady with the grey hair. she is so rude and unprofessional.she does not seem to think she will lose her job treating people like this. Because I came straight to the reviews and saw that my wife and I were not the only ones who encountered this miserable lady. Please look into it family dollar cause until then I will be taking my business elsewhere even if that means going out my way.

For the first time ever the cashier below underperformed , I've been monitoring this place good people store is usually clean organized very friendly people except for today except for this cashier , when I asked her to disable the alarm on two items after I paid she replied ; I don't have time to do that ; I understand you are probably new , please take your time and do not use vulgar language , thank you .In God we trust and God bless America .

Store policy no shopping carts outside. OK not a big deal. What is a big deal is now they tell you put your cart back where you got it which is 25' behind you and the other customers. This is after spending $75 and having 6 bags you are carrying. Laziness! Tells me don't shop here and I live right by it.Update 10-14-21 stopped in to get a sweetest day card all the handicap parking spots areused by the store manager and employeesBeen going on since my review two years ago. No wonder they aren't making money I tried calling customer service about this store and there is no way to reach a person if ever a store needed to be closed because of the disrespect shown by employees its this oneUpdate 12-2-23 store must have a new manager. I stopped in today and handicap parking spots aren't being used by the employees, the shopping carts are reasonably close to the door and the employees aren't yelling across the store to each other. So I will start shopping here more

went 5 minutes before store opened to purchase reading glasses. Waited while staff was walking into store. Staff was laughing because of me waiting at the door. Manager opened the doors twice, closed it as they walked in. At 9am, the last employee walks in, manager acknowledges then closes the door right behind. After closing the door, she was told by another customer that it was already 9am, if they could open the doors and she rudely screamed " the door has been opened". then all the employees started laughing like her ruddiness was funny! Very disrespectful and very unprofessional.

The store manager, older white lady, is so rude and the staff as well. They dont care about nothing, i have been there plenty of times and i have never seen such disrespect. I will spend my money else where. Dont know how they are still open

Sold me very expired Sausage. Didn't even notice it was expired until I opened the package and parts of the meat were white and green.Now they're refusing to give me a refund and laughing at me as I'm trying to tell them it's illegal to sell old meat. These people need a reality check or another job.Would 100% recommend stealing from this place

They close whenever they feel like it. 8:35pm I arrived at this location and a young lady came out to lock the doors and tell me they were closed. When I said but don't you close at 9pm she just repeated herself saying "We're closed"... why have a sign and google say you close at 9pm when that is NOT true. Rite Aid a few blocks away got my money this day!!!

Very Rude Service from the Store Manager, a customer accused me of taking her bags & the manager was going through my bags & receipts to make sure if everything was my belongings.Not even a apology from the rude disrespectful store manager, or one from the person who lied on me. Maybe because I'm Black & they were Mexican talking so rude & accusing me of something so petty. I'll stick with the family dollar store's I'm use to going to never again in Mexican Town.☹️☹️👎👎👎 No stars to give at this point. Feeling frustrated and violated at the same time.

Ridiculous store!!! #1 Been in there plenty of times and always seen rudeness from the employees towards there customers. Never did I think it would happen to me until and it did. I walk in and not one employee greeted me and by check out all i get is rudeness #2 they always want you to have exact change when buying something. Dont want to break a $10 or $20 dollar bill. They rather loose business than giving out change. I will take my money elsewhere where it is worth something. The store is nice but the employees not worth it. Never will i ever go in there. CVS was better. If i could i would give no stars.

Very rude older white lady working on april 10th at about 1pm. Not just to me but also to the coke cola delivery man, ringing up her own things while on break and when i tried to ask her a question she got loud and nasty. As we both let it go no biggy(maybe she had a bad day)she continued to run her mouth and stated if people had a problem with her they could take their business elsewhere. So thats what i did. I will never shop this store again.

I love shopping at family dollar!I'm not far im around,I had a coupon for something that wasn't on the rack, i ask one of the employees if they have any they said they have none in stock, it was laying on the back floor in a box.The workers not once but twice turned down 2 people at the register saying they can't change.They didn't double my heavy bags.There acting like they dont like there job. They are rude!!!!

I get good deals. I wish they were alittle but more stocked. They have clear aisle, which is good. They employees are people person. The atmosphere thier is a good and pleasant place to shop. So far so good.

Couldn't give me cash back for my return which i split tendered with debit, paying $16 cash and my return was only about $12... Then couldn't even get $10 cash back cuz they didnt 'have it' ... Then was lied to by the employee that she was the manager. Just the old white "manager" was the issue today. Never seen her there before.

Majority of the cashier's are unprofessional, The language that they use I find very offensive, I shouldn't have to here N word in a place of Business where I spend my money, but then again this is Southwest Detroit the people in this area are not that smart, I do plan on going to a different Family Dollar.

The store says it closes at 9 pm when I got there they said we cleared our register at 8:45. If you close at 9 you can’t clear your register before that!!!!!
