The customer service here is awful and the store is absolutely filthy. I've experienced multiple instances where the employees would assail customers and even chase them out of the store. You can also hear them engaging in casual conversation in near the register talking poorly about fellow employees. The management has very bad attitudes and they've assaulted customers and locked them in the store with other customers during heated altercations. Here are some photos of this filthy store. The aisles are often so packed with product laying in the floor that you can't get through them and the product is often left in the packages, particularly the drinks and food.

Decent. Boxes piled up to be stocked in every other isle. Racks of clothing sloppy & unorganized...products that were once hung were shoved in-between other stuff balanced on top of eachother.The lady at the register was nice though 😊 I will always go back there due to convenience. 🏪

It's in the neighborhood, so it serves as a neighborhood store. While I do agree that the overall appearance of the inside of the store could use alot of improvements (Clutter in the aisles, shelves better stocked, better looking cosmetically on the inside). To me, it seems that there's a need for more employees that will allow for better customer care and cleaning up of the aisles in the store. So, if that can be alleviated and put into action, it would improve the overall low opinions of the store

The manager at that store is mean and rude she won't let other employees help customers.When she has no idea what the items or folders look like.And end up chasing people away because i had to ask for help of folders.When i didn't know what kind to get.I was going to pay for the rest of items i had she called the security to despach me with the police if i didn't leave.And she gets away with the way she treated me.I can't even shop there anymore because she'll end up calling the police and exaggerates.The security there and eve hates me.

Haven't been there in a month. Remodeling in progress. Looking a lot better. Was looking so bad before thought they were gonna close it. Still stuff everywhere but I think once everything is put in place will be nice. They need to do something with the floors though. Look awful. Staff is helpful. Moved everything around so it's hard on them. I'm hopeful that by the end of the month they'll have it together.

I love this store, however, it seems disorganized lately. Unopened boxes with stock everywhere, blocking isles and merchandise.Items on shelves messy and not enough staff to handle everything.However, whatever workers are there are very nice, helpful and courteous.

The store manager and the older black cashier are both pretty rude, not helpful, and not nice at all. They treat their customers like criminals and make one feel as though you're inconveniencing them from making them actually work. Most of the time I've gone in there they're talking about people. I hate shopping there but they're in my neighborhood.

The store is always organized and if You cannot find something the employees are more than willing to help you find what you are looking for.They're Customer service has improved tremendously! I love shopping here.As long as you're respectful you get respect back... It's like thAt I'm in any Customer service establishment.

I have no real complaints about this store, although in my opinion I think the store could provide a more quality shopping experience if there were more than one cashier, also the customers should be reminded to follow covid safety procedures by keeping the safe distance recommended by the CDC, while waiting in line i felt crowded and uncomfortable and wanted to ask for some more space but I try not offend others and try to avoid conflict these days because you don't know who your dealing with and everyone is on edge and a simple respectful request could cause a fight or even worse something physical like when people get shot over a road rage incident, so the employees should really be more proactive in reminding the customers of the rules, anyways its part of their job. Besides that I have no problem shopping there and will most likely keep shopping there because its close to where I live.

I had the same problem Aug 29 2016When I didn't know what kind of folder I needed for my daughter.Of Vindly i asked the lady manager about that folder.she had no idea i asked the other employee if he could help me.the white lady with a long blonde hair and blue eyes and old.Called that guy instantly and told him to do something else.she told me 2 xs where the back to school area i was still confused which folder to get i told her this.she got angry and picked up the phone and called the security and told him that she already showed me where the school supplies where.because i kept telling her that I asked for that employee guy to show me which one was the Vindly folder.She asked me to leave .I told her all I needed what this young guy to show me which one is the Vindly folder.She called the security and threatened me if i don't leave the store they were going to call the police.After she complained to the security and telling him that I was taking everything out on her.It not true she didn't like it when I told her but I asked for him to show me which folder of five.She ended up overreActing to the security that i took everything out on her and that i had to leave.And she left me crying.Please anyone if you've been mistreated please.Make a complaint to the number you can find.And make a complaint to them about that Livernois family dollar. Call the family dollar corporate number to report that mean manager..

The manager is so rude I have never been treated so badly I was shopping with a 11 year old child and when I aaked for the location of a iitem she became very rude loud and when I told her not to talk to me like that she started to scream at me she said that i was the rude one and to leave her store when i asked for corporate s number she laughed and told me its on the outside window and to leave. This person needs to be fired !!!!!!!!!!!!

The manager is very rude and disrespectful... Not to mention a damn idiot. She calls the police almost everyday on people who aren't even doing anything wrong and will definitely not tolerate her disrespect toward customers. Family dollar she be concerned with her safety. She works in Detroit, the wrong one is gonna knock her smooth to the ground...

I am from this neighborhood and I have to say I don't like to visit this store because is very dirty, disorganized and the prices are too high. Go shop at Michigan - Martin Super Dollar and same 3x your money.The staff needs to clean the store. I even waked by beer bottles outside to get in the store.

I dont go to that location because the attitudes from the workers is crazy and they close super early when the time say 9 pm they be closing at 830 that locations sucks

I went into Family Dollar with a Family Dollar coupon and the manager did not accept the store coupon. I often use these coupons and frequently shop at this location. The manager did not accept the coupon. Was not very educated on the stores policy. I told her it was considered false advertising and I never had a problem before.

I came at 9:20 pm and they had the doors locked. I gave a 3 because of inconvenience but I still got in and was able to get my things. The service was satisfactory.

Low inventory. The isles were difficult to get through as there were carts and boxes. Staff was great though! It was a disappointing trip. Hope it's not always like this!
