For the last 2years, I observe a greater change in this family dollar I'm been somewhat new in the neighborhood I enjoy shopping there not just because the items, products but the respect helpfulness that they show and give to a customer like me . First I've been noticeing how is the management cheese spectacular I know that she's always working with customers and her employees . Thanks again for being there,!

I tried to contact corporate! But it's all pre-recorded messages, No matter when I come to this store there are carts full of product blocking isles. Then the shelves are empty!! No one is ever around to assist customers! And the same hard working cashier is always ringing up customers all by herself!! Basic items not on hand like sugar, salt, really?! This is craxy!! I've questioned and asked about products and was told when the stock comes in!! 3 to 6 months and it's drill on the truck??? Store needs revamping with new employees!! Except t g at 1 model cashier!!

It's ghetto in there. I like the remodel but as far as customer service and organization when handling customers is bad. People are always in there selling drugs, on their phone and not professional at all. They need to do better.

Came in A PAYING CUSTOMER!!! My children and myself needed to use the restroom and the cashiers stated that the bathroom was not open to the public due to people stealing…understandable but we LITERALLY just walked into the store and didn’t even have anything in our basket yet!!! And yet they have no problem taking my money for products!!! I hate ghetto stores!!!

It's very unprofessional that y'all are closed, when on Google it says y'all are open. I will be contacting corporate. Y'all either need to shut down for good, hire better people or do y'all job a lot better. Y'all in the hood for crying out loud

The employees are okay, but, the theft at the store just astronomical!! My prediction: expect the store to be closed soon due to theft by customers

Very bad customer service. The cashier was very mean and very impatient. She went out of her way to treat us badly. The manager wasn't nice either. He told me to move out of his way and literally put his hands on me. The store is dirty and unorganized. I also do not feel safe shopping here. I will not be back.

The workers here are the worst. I was getting my things rang up and she answers the phone. She told me the price as if I was a side conversation. She didn't hand me my bag I had to reach behind the shield to grab it. No thank you or have a nice day she just continues on the phone so disrespectful. They need a new staff this was so unprofessional.

I went and bought 4 items from here today at around 9:25 a.m. The cashier offered me cookies. I explained to her that I was penny pinching right now with these small items. I told here I would but I can not afford them as the first transaction happened but I would. As the second transaction happened I was waiting for my receipt with my keys on the counter and she took my attention off my second transaction pointing out how irresponsible I was because she thought I was leaving without my keys, escorting me to leave without my receipt by distracting me out of her not wanting to do her job. I left without the receipt which I usually keep for my records. The bag tore with only two items in them as I stolled home. I hate living in Detroit. I am too old to be worrying about "slip ups" justifying harrassment. Especially where I spend my money. Dishonesty pays doesn't it? Sad.

I have never seen a more GHETTO cashier. I was exchanging some items from another store and spending money and she refused to accept my items from the other store. Not to mention Gas is high as hell.

I love to see great reviews however on this note I would have to say a No Go!! OF course we shop here because it's a local store for the neighborhood however the unprofessionalism of the store has to stop. Now granted most of the time there are two dudes at this particular store that are tall, wear dreads and look like brothers, that are always Fab! I definitely commend those two and one other person I've encountered while shopping. I always see them working, stocking , ringing customer . HOWEVER, Today, was not that day! I made my list to shop and low and behold not a product in site!! Isle after Isle empty don't seem like nobody bothered to restock nor Did the manager at that time seemed to care. just Trifling but yet these are the same store managers, district manager that would like a clean home and stocked kitchen but yet you can't be responsible to keep a small store stocked. When I went to the store manager with my concerns and passion to stop not giving a f@#$ she just looked at me but Thats when I looked at her and Said Go figure!! " You get WHAT YOU HIRE" stop hiring these folks that don't care about improving the store in it's entirety. Put it like this, if a person don't care about their cleanliness in their own lives their not going to come to a job and be any better. I feel like why do I have to travel outside of my own neighborhood to buy products. I should be able to go into the store and it's neat, clean and well stocked. The DISTRICT MANAGER JEFF OR JEFFREY DONT CARE I see.. You need to ask the man who keeps the outside clean to help come in there and help y'all with restock. not only this store But they desperately need him at the other Family Dollars on 6mile and Livernois its worst than this store. It's actually unbelievable. THE District managers think just because we're in Detroit we are too accept anything BOOPS!!! I DONT THINK SO! Consider me BAD AND BOUJEE Cause I'm just over the nastiness which is causing me to be nasty and I don't want to be that way. Shopping for all of my things over the internet don't seem that bad after all because dealing with folks and where they come from don't mix

Store hours need to be accurate on website not when customers have passed other stores that are open only to find that instead of 8 am all stores won't open til 12pm.

Biggest problem is actually being open at 9am. You can easily wait for 45 minutes or more before the store opens.
