The stocking lady was very rude she kept talking to the young lady cashier while she was ring up a 20 item around a 60.00$ order I was buying. I asked her to stop and let the cashier concentrate on her job but the stocking lady wouldn't stop talking and was asking me why she needed to stop Talkin . I was stunned I didn't stop there to argue so I just walked ou without buying nothing

I went to Dollar General to purchase some Contact paper. They had a nice selection. While I was there I decided to see if they had some nice light gray or silver bathroom towels, and wall accessories to decorate my bathroom. I didn't fine any.

This store is the cleanest dollar general I have been in. They always have what I need. Not like the one that is close to my home. That dollar general is horrible. They never have enough stock on the shelfs. The employee spend most of their time out side the store smoking. They leave 1 person in the store ro do the cash register. And the line is most of the time long. It is a shame that I have to go out of my way if I want to shop at dollar general.

I have been in this store twice because it's close to downtown Detroit....but I regret shopping here. I am never greeted when I walk in and no one ever offers assistance. The entire staff including managers needs to realize that customer service is key to having a successful business. The prices are the best thing at Dollar General but next time I would rather go to Dollar Tree or Family Dollars for my household needs.

The doors open by themselves that is great for our present situation the store is large and neatly oragnised. I live on the west side this store is eastside, I'm thinking of making this my store. The Dollar General's in my immediate are are a mess. The young lady who helped me was friendly and helpful. I will be back. I like organized stores with friendly store employees.

The E. Lafayette location was closed before 8pm. Its my understanding closures due to not having enough staff to Man store. So I went to this location. Staff very friendly.CALL these locations first before going.

Store front entrance area need to be organized and more welcoming. I like that they carry name brands for household items like Clorox, Tide, Ziplock just to name a few. Also some kitchen and baking food items. The prices are very reasonable.

Very nice and helpful staff. Good prices. I hate coming in this store, there are so many good things. And the seasonal department keeps me coming back for more. 🤷🏽‍♀️❤

Today I shopped at the Dollar General store located on Jefferson near St. Clair. The store clerk was very pleasant. The item that I stopped in to purchase was not one that they carry but she told me which Dollar General has the item. I will pick it up there. I ended up purchasing other items needed. Thank you Dollar General!

Selling products containing chemicals that causes cancer and they refused to take it back and stated it's company policy and I would have to contact corporate offices. No were was it posted of this return policy and the receipt doesn't state this either.

Stale food products, I didn't feel easy while in the store didn't feel welcome. I bought over $100 worth of items from there the night before. I can stay if I was super desperate and needed some items, I would think twice about stopping bet this Dollar General. The cashier that took care of me followed me wherever I walked around the store. He was black. I am Mohican.

Worst customer service ever! Manager and associates are so rude,very slow and impatient with customers. The store is very dirty stock all on the floors and they close the store whenever they want. Not good business at all!!! Will not be supporting any of the Dollar General's with this horrible experience!

I love this Dollar General! I shop here all the time and find they are a lot better than Family Dollar. So glad I have the choice to go to this one or the other one further down near Dickerson.

Today I went there for a sale that was for Xbox live. The 3 month subscription price is $24.99 but the sale price was 50% off in the paper and you can see it on the website. 2 ladies was working 1 was the manger. I ask the 1 lady about the sale. She scanned the Xbox live card and it came up to $24.99. She said it was not on sale so I told her about the sale and that today was the last day for it and she said talk to the manager. So the manager just flat out said it's not on sale so I went to the car and found it online and went back to show them but they didn't want to look. Finally I left and went to Conners store and sure enough it was on sale for 50% off. I'm going to report this store and staff that worked today because all they had to do was at least listen and look for themselves. I had to wast gas for no reason and that sucks.

I like dollar general but this store didn't have change l shopped gotten everything l needed put on counter time to pay and then the two. cashier say they didn't have change so l was like what no change and l knew l didn't have time to go to another dollar general but l left the store my things l was gping to buy had to be put on the floor l guess l went outside and just asked a man sitting in his car did he have change and he did other then that. its a long way back home lm in midtown that store waa on east jefferson not good every store ahould have some change this isnt business if you can't handle cha ge for a paying customer not good

Dollar General has good prices. One of the only stores to carry aluminum free deodorant. However the stores need to be reorganized and neater

Website needs to be updated of closing time. Got to the store at 8:25pm closed but read open until 9pm..I don't have time to waste.

This store is unorganized, the cashier's are ghetto and carry on a full blown conversation and curse as if customers aren't there. They don't greet you when you walk into the door nor thank you for coming when exiting the store. The managers if they care need to do under cover boss to see how this store is being ranned
