The Manager Hasan was Very rude to me. I never thought he was going to be rude to me because he was nice. But he just flipped out on me in the front of the store. I never did nothing to him but bought stuff from there. I would buy sales items and 0.01 items. But he just got so mad at me and said I know that's all you gonna buy hurry up and pay. I said huh, he said hurry up and go.... I actually donate all of my stuff I buy on sale. He was Very Rude and mean to me. I was so hurt I couldn't stop crying. Plus he was very rude to the other customers behind me.

Overstock seems to be a problem with a lot of the stores like family dollar and dollar general I’m at the store is no different but the associate there for only the parking lot stays clean

Store was clean. But the cashier need more training. I had to ask for my bag instead of her given it to me. She had to take a sip or get some ice that she was rude eaten in front of the customers. I will never go back to this store again. First time and last.

I purchased a sale item but the register rung the item up full price. The manager ( heavy set lady with braids, tattoos and long glitter nails came over to put her key in the register) nobody has name tags , everyone is in plain clothes so you don’t know who is who from employee to customer. She got agitated with me bc I was asking questions about not seeing the sale price on the register after she used her key to make the adjust me. She was very rude , she stopped helping me to show another customer her nails, she made sarcastic comments about me to the worker standing next to her (ex: anyway, whatever) very unprofessional

I started to like this store until the "white" manager was here. He over charged me 3 times over something so cheap. I don't know why but he gives me racist vibes. He was not respectful at all. The dude turned red every time he looked my way. I'll never be coming back here...sad part about it I actually had a very good experience here in the past.

Ok this is my new favorite DG. The cashier's are nice not stuck up and on top of that the cashier keeps receipts for the $5.00 off on Saturdays so you'll never miss your 5.00 off 25.00 discount. Yes honey yes

Clean store, most stores shelves are empty with boxes all over the place. Some employees are nice but they can be ghetto. Customers can be quite rude to employees and like to cause drama. Compared to the long lines in Walmart you get in and out faster at dollar General. As far as the ghetto customers like raushunda chance, when the store is busy and putting a customer on hold is no win situation. You either get mad for waiting until the lines are down and threatening to call corporate or complaining about the service when they know they don’t have a lot of employees working. Either way ghetto people like to cause problems or try fighting with the employees. So glad I don’t work at this location.

Would've been 5 but the cashier Romana was very short over the phone and did not show great customer service skills. Her patience were very short and she rushed me off the phone saying she had customers in line, instead of placing me on hold and then too giving me the service I deserved as well. I will most likely not shop here unless I absolutely have no other choice, due to the staff. And I haven't even stepped foot in the door yet. Is this the service we receive in Detroit?

If you are looking for snacks for the kids and family go here or you can shop for birthday gifts for anyone. Plus they have a lot of stuff to that you can buy like shampoo and conditioner for your hair and laundry detergent.

I'm convinced because this store is in the inner city is why humiliating tactics are used when their faulty sensor goes off. I'm made to pull my stuff out of my purse. I practically strip to prove I'm no theif and than when I finally go out after standing there disrobing the sensor doesn't go off at all, but the manager who is condescending swears there is nothing wrong with the sensor. If it was a suburban store and this happened like the few times its happened to me, one of the residents would demand that the sensor and the manager be tossed and I'm convinced it would happen. The level of disrespect that the inner city customers face in retail store is pathetic. Blacks who make up 2% of the national population mostly residing in the inner city aren't all criminals. Its a shame the minority is viewed as the bad guys by the majority. It seems as if the downlow and not so downlow black listing that blacks have faced since slavery is still in tact in 2020. God bless us all.

Poor, poor customer service. The worst I have ever encountered. Cashiers cursing and discussing personal issues in front of minors and customers. They also close before they're supposed to. When we called and tried to reach management, they kept hanging up the phone.

Bad attitude from cashier/management. The mask mandate is unconstitutional, Supreme Court already ruled. If you want customers to wear them atleast supply them vs turning away your customers.

Dollar General is a good convenience store. Just be cautious that they have things for a dollar in generally speaking. Even though they do have a DOLLAR ISLE, most things are above that range.

They are often out of staple items and take long to restock. High turnover with staff some are rude and loud. Only go to this location when in a bind otherwise I go on Greenfield in Dearborn!

I don't know why these places don't open a second register when the lines get long, my godt. I shop here because I like the selection who wants to wait 10 minutes when they're spending money. The staff is friendly.
