The place always have everything in stock... I went in this morning.. trying to find some balloons for a birthday party.. they didn't have too much of a choice of birthday balloons in the front.. but the two young ladies help me out and point me in the right direction without to get some better balloons at. Those girls were so nice they even put fetty inside of the balloons for me.. over and beyond.. very nice people very speedy service.. I will be back.. whoever is managing the place now is doing a excellent job. Thanks again.

This is my go to place, living in the neighborhood you see workers come and go, but they have all been so kind and helpful towards me. They have pretty much everything I need on a quick in and out trip, the lines are not long and they work quickly to get you out. But the group that is there now is my fave they are always so ready to help out and friendly... great job guy's keep it up!!!

Just went to this place to load money on my card and the manager said the amount was too much because black people bring in to much fake money. How ignorant and unprofessional. And telling me this after i had waited in line for 15 minutes.

I love the greetings from the workers & the placement of the products bt they ALWAYS need 2 restock! The owner needs 2 b more aware of what flys off the shelves more often and make sure that certain things stay stocked! 😐🤨

I was very disappointed the store was nasty and dirty plus only one worker cashier in a line of a 8/9people crowded look if the manager dont care then close it down cause this makes no sense l walked out of the store no way was l going to wait in long line nope clean up store get another cashier in evening time or just close up cause l dont have a problem driving out of my way to another decent clean store thats what l did 👎👎

It's beautiful inside. The ceiling therein is much higher than that of the Woodward--Kenilworth location.I've only gone for the food thus far, and there are more to purchase than that aforementioned location. They do sell big bottles of cold coffee, which I will purchase.It's really not that much different from the Woodward--Kenilworth location, but this location sells cheesecake, unlike the other location. I love cheesecake!Nothing much more to write here, but I've had fun. I just moved to Ilene Street, between Grand River and Fullerton Avenues, which is why I'm able to go to this particular location.I believe you'll love it.

I love DG. They have almost everything. Especially after the remodeling. Their grocery selection is huge. I also like to go online and clip the digital coupons.

I would have gave them no stars if the app allowed me too. The stock boy was very rude and unprofessional. This Dollar General on Grandriver and Meyers gives them a really bad name. If you're ever shopping or looking for a Dollar General in Detroit. Please try to avoid this area at all times.

I like Dollar General they are to messes u can't get a basket ,the isles have stuff all over the floor which make shopping almost impossible.Thats not just one store.IJust went to three different stores .
