November 2023 update!!!!This is store is still horrible! Dirty, empty shelves and how are we expected to shop with all the carts in the way. And they are always out of bags when checking out! Long lines, no staff. Just horribleThis once was a great store…unfortunately it’s not anymore. It’s dirty and every single isle is crowded carts. It’s difficult to maneuver through the store and the shelves are always empty. And the young people who are supposed to be stocking are busy playing, cussing and on their phone.

Never have price stickers on items, then they ask you to go find another one. Staff is rude, don't speak and you have to stand their until they finish their personal stories. Oh Sunday the one girl is not coming in at 7am on a Sunday morning, and she doesn't get along with the girl that works and lives with her, but she watches her kids. LMAO corporate needs to close and redo that store. Clean it up including staff!.

The w 7 mile store does not open at 8:00, even though it supposed to be open at 8am. Its 9:30 and I saw many customers leave because they keep saying 30 min, well it's not true, I have been there twice and watched the girl come in late and still telling me 30 more minutes. I sat in parking lot, they still said 30 more minutes. This is unprofessional. Hire people who are on time.

Lack of staff, lack of cleanliness, and it is disorganized in there. It used to be thriving now it is terrible and has a terrible smell in there which could end up being a health hazard to customers. From the looks of it, other dollar general store have a better chance than this one if they don't improve soon.

Normally don't shop at this location but needed something quick. Not a safe area but the store was well lit. Prices are fair and shelves are well organized. Easy to are from the street, great for quick shopping. Can easily be seen from the street. Parking is available also have handicapped parking and entrance.

They need to close this location for a week and take time to clean and organize.There's merchandise all over dirty floors. I usually avoid this location but time and convenience made me stop in. Next time I'll wait and go to a store with better management and thought for the community it serves.

The Cashier, Ms. Betty, is Wonderful!However, the store was a "MESS" !!! The aisles were cluttered and boxes of goods were stacked in nearly every aisle. Very little room to walk. There was a Sign on the door saying they were closing early due to staff shortage. That was obvious. I was very disappointed. 😞

This store on grand river is sometimey. I was in store when a physical fight broke out between staff members. Often store closes hours before scheduled due to no staff available. I've experienced them closed at 10am. Often I go to the Dollar General in Redford which is a better store.

It was somewhat decent. They cleaned up since the last time I was there. Some of the shelves were in disarray. I did see some Rally's/Checkers seasoned French fries. Saw some SeaPak butterfly shrimp that I wish I could have gotten. Oh yeah, bought a much needed umbrella for the upcoming season. Paid $6. Overall, I would choose to go here again to pick up a few food or office items.

My experience here was good. The store was clean and the staff was easily accessible. Upon checking out, the cashier was very helpful also. I would recommend this store to everyone!

I visited Dollar General recently and was surprised they had remodeled. It looked really nice and they had everything I needed that I was not able to find at other stores. The staff was still helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

Very convenient and I was able to buy my favorite cat food in Bluck it's great when you need to buy large amounts of toilet paperconditioner shampoo and also all cleaning supplies I love that they have a 523 pack for as little as five or seven dollars you can get three to five together a Save-A-Lot on liquid detergent one-time three bottles together only for

They never restock the shelves and staff is rarely helpful. This should be a self-service store and just get rid of the so-called employees who are collecting dust and paychecks.

Store clerks are very annoying. I stepped into the store and was immediately was told to hand over my book bag. I refused and asked why then threatened to leave and never to shop here again. They replied soo what.This was my last stop on my daily routine for snacks for work but I'll just spend my money @riteaid

Prices are too high! These Dollar General stores are NOT dollar stores. Very few products that are a dollar in the metro Detroit stores. Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are much better. Also store on Woodward Ave and Grand River was in disarray. Very messy looking. Will never shop at any Dollar General stores.

Worst customer service ever and from the so called manager! Dollar General upper management, please have your employees especially your managers undergo extensive customer service training so they understand the meaning of courteous service as well as customer retention, because due to the poor service, I will take my money elsewhere...wish I could give less than one star ☹️

Noticed they expanded the grocery aisle, which I think is thoughtful for families to take advantage, the appearance of the store is unorganized, has been for some years, but I'm able to locate and purchase what I need

Items are almost never stocked but sitting on the floor which is a hazard, extremely difficult to use coupons certain salesperson is familiar with the coupon policy others are clueless.There are many items other DG stores but this one is always short of many things.

It’s 8:10am dollar general is not open on the website it says this location opens at 8am & so why the still close. If the time is not right then company needs to go on google & fix it. ASAP!!!!!
