This place is usually kind of hectic with boxes of unpacked merchandise in the aisles. But that I'm not worried about. They are good folks, the daytime manager is a friendly lady. I like when they have clearance sales on clothes because I can usually find 3 or 4 really cute items for half off. I'm pretty sure they've always got some sale or another going on.

Very clean and organized. Staff are amazing they are very helpful and friendly. They have a wide variety of items that other dollar General does not have. They store is huge and you can actually find what your looking for. Not everything is scattered on the ground and in boxes like other locations. I will definitely drive out of my way to visit this Location again even though I have a dollar General right next to my house

I would have gave 5 stars, but it was a bit hard getting through the aisles because there was product that needs to be put on the shelves everywhere. They definitely need help. BUT SERVICE WAS GREAT AND THE EMPLOYEES THAT WERE WORKING WERE REALLY NICE AND ATTENTIVE.

Very unorganized and everything all over the place in the middle of aisles, i know many who are in need of employment💯 Low staffed and the store needs help. The employees who're working, great job y'all are doing considering the situation you have to work in.

The manager James is very kind, and you can tell that " he really cares" about your shopping experience. On a busy Sunday he stopped everything else that he was doing, and took the time to not only direct me to the goods that I was looking for, but actually walked me through the store to them moving one of those big ackward push carts out of the way to provide access to the items I wanted to purchase. You don't run across professional curtacy as this anymore. It made me feel comfortable about being in his store. I will even go out of my way in the future just to purchase my goods.

I love Dollar General.. I never shop without checking out there DG digital coupons, you'll definitely get some deals.. My only issue is that the isles was packed with stock and you could barely navigate through the store.

It's a sad shopping experience within the Detroit area. All are nasty, cluttered, short staffed and unorganized. I go there for emergency purposes only and as a last resort. However, there is a difference within the suburban shopping area.I just happen to love the one in Melvindale, MI on Outer Dr. That particular store receive a 4💫 all by itself.

I honestly don’t know the name of the girl but she was really helpful she was nice enough of showing me where there were some keychains told her i Wasn’t from around town that i was coming from Chicago and she helped me out to try and find some more. People are really respectful and greet you right away.

Big improvement since the last time I visited months ago. Alot cleaner. Organized and more way friendliest. I stop months ago because everything looks just like the previous store and Dollar General is way out different.

Today was the first time ever shopping at this store. It was a bit cluttered but I assume that they were in the middle of restocking items. The employees were very courteous and helpful.

Every Isle had 1, 2, to 4 Product carts and I'm in a wheelchair there were Isle's I couldn't go down I felt clostraphobic. The workers were all chatting togeather they didn't greet us upon entering. Wish i would of had the presence of mind to take photos.

Employees were friendly. Only problem with this store is there was so much stock still on the in the aisles that you really can't even see what's on the shelves. Also I think that there maybe a theft problem at this store due to the higher prices. I normally go to the dollar general in dearborn stopped at this one because it's closer to my home.

Woah! This place has gotten a major upgrade. It’s so clean and organized. The employees are friendly. Honestly this is the best dollar general I’ve been to and yeah I might miss the Family dollar but it’s sooo different in a good way.

Great general store in the community, where you can find all of your needs. from milk to clothing to housing Supplies, and they sell cigarettes as well as electronics and gifts .

Dollar General has an app for electronic coupons. My personal experience is wonderful at Dollar General. Family Dollar has the same app. The app always is inactive when you try to process your savings. NO MORE FAMILY DOLLAR.

Can usually find items here for a dollar that are sold at CVS Walgreens and other stores for twice the price. Best opportunity to save money shop here first then hit a regular store
