Been going to this park for a little while now and when they took away the storage container entrance that helped with the bad smell but since then people must be thinking the city is supposed to clean up behind our pets. Not!!!!! You know that comes with the use of the parkTO ALL OF YOU LAZY DOGS CLEAN UP BEHIND YOUR PETS. Even when there's no one watching your nasty behinds. Don't mess this up........ please.

Nice size dog park. Not much parking or places to sit down. Enter and exit through the storage container. Unfortunately the container smells like a bum has been using it as a bathroom

Great no-fee, off-leash space for fur-babies to play unencumbered. Both shaded and sunny areas. Bring water, there are some bowls in the play area. Bags are also available. All users can be volunteers by cleaning up after their own pet and emptying full disposal bins.

Not too much to offer other than space, but it is truly my dog's favorite dog park! Easy to get to, plenty of (street) parking and I always meet very nice people there.

Tried it for the first time today. It was big, fenced in, and great for bigger dogs. My dog was the only one there and for some reason didn't seem to have fun until she was leashed back up and exploring the area around the park 🙄That being said, it was really muddy when we went....to be expected after all these ground freezes and thaws and snow melting and whatnot. What surprised me was the broken handle for the interior door (??), the piles of poop near the back, and the lack of sticks from the trees in the area. I think my pup would have had more fun on a drier day or if there were other dogs there. We will be trying it again.

Dogs have a wonderful place to go. You owner needs to clean behind your kids when they use it out there so they can keep a place to play and go .just like you need to get out the house they do to like you have friends well they do toDog-friendliness: They have their way to meet each other as we do they show who the ruler is watch the tails wagging my husky's go visit other dogs they will go to 5 different house's and the last one is around the corner then they come back home if they get out I wait at the last dog house an hear they come lol they are very smart 🤓

This was one of my favorite dog parks while I live downtown Detroit. I still enjoyed bringing my dog down to visit it. The people are friendly and there is a good community. The fences are sturdy and there is no way a dog can escape. Also it is long enough to throw a ball with a launcher at full force. Great spot!

I bring my dog here a couple times a week. I've met allot of nice people with really great dogs. Even the owners who are scared or overprotective eventually realize they come to the park to be more social. Sometimes it just takes talking to someone new to realize you have nothing to worry about.

My favorite hidden gem. :) It's a great alternative to the super-crowded midtown dog park. This one is larger and has real grass, and there are often very few other dogs here. I appreciate having a big space nearby where I can really get my dog running!

Great size grassy area and fencing tight enough for little dogs to not get out. Could use a little more monitoring for cleanliness, but overall a great park. Only complaint is that more people don't know about it!

Our puppy's need to play and relax, too.

pretty large yard but no separate small dog area. it's not much. there 8s no water spigot. some large breaks in fence covered up with rocks. no hand sanitizer. and rude lady yelling at us to not park on the side road even though there are no signs stating we can't.

In need of repairs and regular maintenance. The park is a nice size, narrow but long enough for dogs to run, mostly grassed with a few trees. Secure fencing though holes are oddly large enough to let tennis balls pass straight through, which seems like an oversight. Poop bags and garbage on site though garbage was overflowing. The entrance needs repairs. Nice that there is a two door secure entrance however interior door is broken, will not latch and flooring is coming up, causing door not to open fully. Four stars as there are unfortunately no other decent options in the city. The Midtown dog park is a joke.

Nice open space, but it definitely needs some maintenance. There is a tree down on one fence and one of the entrance doors doesn't have a knob.

Great dog park! There's no membership fee and we've never met an ill-behaved dog (or owner) ever. Very cool people and it's right off of Michigan Ave.

Very nice! No dogs were there though. So not very good for socializing. But fairly clean and large. Garbage cans in the back were VERY full. So I don't know if it's going to stay this clean.

Pro's: it's a big open space. Everyone and every dog is welcome. Its clean. There are bags in case you forget. Bowls and balls and a tree rope.Cons: There are usually a lot of big dogs. Small puppies have to watched closely.Needs: a separate area for small dogs. Some agility euipment.

Enough room for the pooches to run around freely and enjoy the company of the other doggos. I liked the secure double gate for safe entry/exit and that its right next to the old train station (newly bought by Ford).

Nice out of the way place for the pups - glad a guy asked if he could bring in his pit that was going "in heat" cuz i had 2 female pups and it might not have been a good visit - we had been there for a while, we left so his pup could have a good play moment as well.

It wasn't easy to find, but when we did we liked that the area was quiet. It sits in a large grassy area for dogs to run freely; but no way to separate dogs by size or temperament...

My dog isn't much of a dog park pup, so this is the perfect spot for her. It's pretty secluded, quiet, and a good mix of shade/sun.
