IMPECCABLE SERVICE!!! Left my medicine at home and had to grab a few pills. Anil I believe his name is in the Pharmacy. He gave great service and was so kind. This is the CVS Way and he displayed this to the full extent. I am VERY Thankful!Small store but I would recommend them based on the customer service.

This is the worst CVS store and it's located Downtown Detroit. The cashiers are rude and unprofessional. The cooler doesn't work therefore the cold beverages are warm.Smh

Went to this location on Thursday February 2nd 2024 if l go to any other locations there's is a man whom is begging folks outside why hasn't the owner and manager handle this ?🤷plus while l was there two people besides myself couldn't understand why the refrigerator wasn't stocked it's always just about empty 🤷plus some of shelves are emptied what seems to be the problem owner and manager this should be one of those fully stocked stores why isn't it 🤷

The pharmacist Amil is super helpful and goes above and beyond for his customers. He helped me navigate getting a discount on a expensive prescription. While there I witnessed him go above and beyond for others as well. Soraya, it was very helpful as well.!

Went in for a quick errand and when I wasn't able to find what I needed, an associate was quick to help and was also helpful on the self-checkout kiosk. The only downside were the panhandlers out front, but that's not really within the store's control. Otherwise, the place is neat, and associates are nice.

Refused me entry five minutes before close. Maybe invest in a security guard if you can’t stay open past 6:00 or let people in the store before it closes.

Bought several products in the ‘buy one, get one free’ category. Did not know I needed a CVS card to benefit. At checkout, the CVS associate both suggested and quickly organized one. This also benefited my wife who was with me and purchased products under the similar offer. All the representatives were very helpful and apart from the cashier there was also someone who was constantly intervening to help - speeding the checkout process, helping people to use the self cash out process. Very impressed by the service of all CVS staff.

This CVS is understaffed and many times extremely slow at check out. While waiting for a cashier, consider practicing transcendental meditation, you'll have plenty of time.

This morning I was in Downtown Detroit and I stopped at CVS to pick up a few things between bus transfers. I found the customers and employees very friendly. After picking up my things and I was out in 15 minutes. I am glad that your store has Self Serve Checkouts. I used to go to CVS in the GM World Headquarters,(Formally Renaissance Center)before CVS Closed Permanently. Whenever I am in Downtown Detroit and I will be stopping in to pick up items I need between bus transfers. Back in the day,I still remember when this used to be a Sanders Bakery and Ice Cream Soda Counter in this building.

I love this CVS pharmacy \"Anil\" downtown Detroit, is such a joy to do business with, he makes it so much easier when I pick my prescriptions up, he is so helpful and explains everything and is very knowledgeable and informative. Out of all the CVS pharmacies that I've been to, this he is far more the best.

Very friendly, and both the pharmacy and store managers are extremely helpful. However, there are frequently very long lines to check out, and there are often lots of items not in stock. Furthermore, the store closes extremely early (relative to surrounding businesses) which is very inconvenient.Finally, it is very annoying to have homeless people standing immediately outside the door to ask for money as soon as you exit the store (I do not want to come off as rude, and while I understand the homeless are people as well, standing directly outside the door of a business should be taken care of by the security guards employed by this CVS in order to ensure the safety and experience of its customers)In conclusion, it’s a very friendly, relatively well-operated store but it is very clear that it is still a long ways away from rivalling the RenCen CVS, or those in other major cities in the US.2.5 stars would be more accurate for me.

Visiting this CVS location is a demonic experience! If you don't mind being mistreated as though you just stepped into the pit of HELL, then this is the CVS location for you!! Please note that I am not talking about the pharmacists. As a customer of CVS for well over a decade, this location is by far the worst. The staff's customer service skills are severely lacking and the turnover rate is very high. I am always satisified with the variety and quality of the products. However, the staff members are so rude and ignorant that I am often aggravated and frustrated after my visit. Needless to say, I will never ever do business with CVS again!!!

I am very upset about the customer service at this store. They had my daughters prescription two weeks in advance she went to pick it up yesterday and they did not have it. I then had to call the pharmacy myself because she is away there at school I spoke to someone who said it would be ready this early to late afternoon and I told them to call her. Guess what happened? No call nothing, I explained my daughter can’t go with out these meds because of withdrawal symptoms they didn’t care! Find some other place totally not a good pharmacy also took them 20 minutes to answer the phone! Needless to say I was one “ Hot Karen!”

I rarely have a positive experience at this CVS. I've always been a huge fan of CVS, it's my favorite of the chain pharmacies. I'm new to the area and unfortunately this is the closest and most convenient location to my home and work. Every time I need to fill a prescription it's never ready and I have to wait over a week. Sometimes I get a text notifying my medication is ready for pickup but half the time I need to call and ask. This is not something I've ever experienced at any pharmacy that I've ever been to in the 20+ years of going to pharmacies. It seems crazy that I need to follow up and make sure that my medication is filled after my doctor sends it in. Unfortunately this is the only pharmacy that I've used since moving to Detroit so I don't have a local comparison. But the customer service is unacceptable. My guess is they're understaffed, just like the retail side which typically has lines that run into the isles. Sadly this is one of the few places in the area where you can get quick items. I've decided that I will go elsewhere to avoid the hassle and the frustration.

I’m sorry it has taken me years to post this but I wanted to say Anil Sheta is the best pharmacist ever.Several years ago when my Epi pen was really expensive, Anil would always take the time to help me find a coupon. I didn’t even know there were coupons for prescription medicine. He also did the same for my husband’s medication. In addition to helping us save money he was just a really nice guy and every interaction was great!Huge shoutout to Anil for his dedication and amazing customer service. If we had not moved out of state we would still be going here!

The people that work in this location are very unprofessional, ghetto and loud. There is a gay guy with braids that insist on conducting loud conversations with his fellow co-workers will waiting on customers [this is inappropriate], a short black chucky girl that has headphones in and talks on the phone while ringing up customers [completely unacceptable], a black women with a long weave with blonde looking highlights that I believe may be a CVS SHIFT SUPERVISOR or MANAGER that does not greet customers at all for instance she’ll ring you up and not say a word[poor customer service].CVS Corporation- Please audit this location as the employees do not report shortages and management is not correctly stocking the shelves nor is management ensuring sufficient money is being placed in the registers.I have come to this location many times in the last month as I work in the building next door and they have “NO CASH BACK” signs on every register.

THIS LOCATION RACIALLY PROFILES BLACK PEOPLE. When ever I have shopped there, I get asked for assistance more than usual. When I go to another isle to shop, I have been followed and the person plays it off like they are fixing things on shelves. I only shop there because I live downtown and dont feel like traveling to midtown CVS where I never had this problem. One time I was profiled at the downtown location, it was by a chubby Hispanic manager with dark hair and glasses. I ask him,"Why are you following me?" He replied "I dont know what you are talking about, Im straightening this shelf." I told him, "I shop in here all the time and yall do this. I dont look like I pay high a$$ rent to you. Do you get profiled by white people where you live since you're not white?" He quickly got from around me when I told him that. The CVS co manager is an Uncle Tom black dude who got smart with me when I ask when they were getting more Just 4 Men gel for black men. He told me that they order based on demographics. I said you guys had some two weeks ago, when will you order some more? The SOB rolled his eyes at me and told me to go call corporate. Some of the cashiers are cool but the management are a holes who hate themselves and profile blacks downtown.

I have been trying to get a prescription filled at this location. The pharmacist Anil Sheta lied directly to my face saying he does not have it. I am showing through McKesson that they just received 100 bottles of the drug that I have a script for. I have contacted the customer service line and have filed a complaint since this is the 5th time this has happened over the past 3 years. I have a legitimate prescription from a doctor and would like to use their services. I have no prior incidents with drugs, never been arrested and have a clean record. They do not want to do their job. I hope the district manager will improve the customer service of this location.

THis is the worst customer service ever, called in at 8/30 to fill in perscription pain medication , showed up at the cvs at 8/48 and they already had locked their doors for a store hours that is suppose to be closed at 9/00pm i am talking to the security guard through the door and he pretend to go get the manager after speaking with me , then at 9/05pm they all walked pass by me , the manager got into her car and said that i need to go to another pharmacy , but they actually have my prescription , the pharmacist stand their and said that i was suppose to come before 9/00PM but would not acknowledge that i was in front of the store at 8/48PM now i have to take my teenager daughter at the emergency because her pain is not manageable and the prescription is hostage at cvs!!! Inhumane crew!!!!!

I saw the worse action in the pharmacy, this week.. First thing i watched the pharmacist drop a pill off the nasty floor and pick it up and put it bck the pill bottle (disgusting).. Same pharmacist as usaual.. I hope corporate can run bck the cameras and witness him handle medication in that horrible way. Also the chubby women in the pharmacy, plays her music loud on her phone, while video chatting.. I think it horribe and corporate should run the camera and see what they find..im sure its more than that.

Quite often I've been charged more than what was displayed. Although it is resolved at the register, it is time consuming to take photos of everything I purchase to make sure I'm not overcharged.
