Maybe it’s just CVS in general but I have had nothing but issues with this pharmacy. Both with private and state insurance and just competency in general. And last time I checked, getting a text message telling me my medication is ready for pick up means I can come pick it up. Not be told that it’s on hold and that it will be an additional ten minutes for it to be filled.

It would have been nice if the cashier had acknowledged me when I walked in, or even if the same cashier had stopped playing candy crush to cash me out. I know this because the sound was up high. This cashier did not even turn around to cash me out so I had to go to the self check out. I will never suggest this particular store to anyone.

If I could rate this CVS PHARMACY a zero I would. I’ve only been using since November and every time my prescription is lost and can’t be found. Avoid at all costs.

If you are receiving mediations that are important for your health or are time sensitive, please use an alternative pharmacy for your own sake and health. This is truly one of the most unorganized and unprofessional pharmacies I have come across and I am not surprised to see other people having a similar experience based on reviews.The pharmacy rarely picks up their phone. In the event that they do, they will often either hang up on your immediately without saying anything, put you on hold and then hang up on you, or just won't pick up at all. What if someone had an emergency question regarding medication side effects? I've waited on hold for 30 minutes to an hour only to be told "please call back later". When I call back later....the cycle continues. They take questionably long to fill scripts in comparison to comparable pharmacies as well.

I walked to find the eyelashes and seen the “see sales associate sign” I walked to the front and asked if someone was available to unlock them she replied “well your going to have to just wait in line and I’ll get to it when I can get to it “ in the most nastiest way possible. So I patiently waited in line there was only one person before me, and when she got the lashes and cashed me out I told her she had a really bad attitude and I hope her day gets better. She responded “that’s unfortunate” Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant employee. She rolled her eyes and twitched her neck at me for simply asking if there was someone available. I do not appreciate this service I will not be back.

I had an appointment for a flu shot today. I arrived 15 minutes early, and a woman behind the counter, who didn't bother to look up, told me to have a seat and she would check me in shortly. After 20 minutes, I left. No one ever called name. My time is valuable.

CVS, please get this pharmacy some help. Literally so slow and overloaded. You wait for 45 min+ on the phone. You wait for hours in person. I’ve never been to a pharmacy that was struggling this hard. Oh and like someone said in another review, the weirdest/worst thing is the way they pick up the phone and immediately put you back on hold.

I have to leave another review because I see nothing had changed. I’ve been calling the pharmacy for the past hour. This is ridiculous!!! Especially for all the seniors who call. You can also hear them picking up and putting you back on hold. I really don’t understand why people go into work everyday. Just to get paid to not do their job effectively.

I have been using this CVS for many, many years. Occasionally, I try the nearly Rite Aid or Walgreens, but the CVS staff are MUCH more friendly & helpful--both clerks and pharmacy. Once in a great while they are out of something I am looking for, but only rarely. I do wish they did Western Union & sold wine, but realize why they do not. It is clean & neat & I have never had a problem there, never an incorrect prescription, never a wrong price charged. I am glad they are here!

The pharmacy is consistently late on prescriptions, randomly closed, and generally poor customer service. I hope others have a better experience, but at this point it feels almost comical every time I come here.

I read comments but likely they are overwhelmed with so many orders by they closed so many stores.but they should been smart if they know store are closed send them over to help them out who ever closed the store and w grand Blvd about to closed the staff would loved a extra pair of hands.i know it's not easy.i been with cvs for years.every.time I move I always make cvs is near. Some can go to the one on Woodward downtown. Or change pharmacy in the area

The pharmacists at this CVS should be ashamed of themselves. Called a prescription in 10 days early and when we went to pick it up they said the didn't carry the drug and it's still on order.Actual human beings would call the customer and let them know. These monsters didn't bother. Then when I called the phone rang for 20 minutes and no one answered. These lazy clowns just sat they're and ignored it.They should lose their jobs.

If I could give negative stars I would. The Pharmacy has no idea what is going on. Sadly they don't understand billing, insurance coverages, or how to navigate the insurance protocols. Also, they have violated HIPPA as the gave me another customer's medication accidentally. Please be cautious and very patient is you decide to use this CVS location as your pharmacy. They are slow, don't answer their phone, and are often unwilling to answer questions regarding medication or billing. Very disappointing.

**Store review only (I don’t use their pharmacy)**Good location. Only one in the immediate area that is 24 hours which is great for late night emergencies (lifesaver when you’re sick). I like that they have the self-checkouts, but they also keep one cashier at a regular register if you prefer not to use the self-checkouts. All of the employees that I’ve encountered are pretty friendly. This location is also a UPS Access Point which is great if you need to use that service.

Save yourself the hassle. This pharmacy has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. When my doctor sent them my prescription they didn't enter the info in the system. I called them to see if it was filled after being hung up on twice someone told me that they couldn't fill it b/c their refrigerator had went out, and that I can call another CVS and have them pull my prescription and get it filled that way. So I'm like bam bet, I call around to two other CVS's neither of them could find my prescription. After calling this location back 3 times I finally get through to someone who has the nastiest attitude and she says that the other locations can easily pull my script they just didn't want to. So after this y'all I'm exhausted (it had been 3 hours) I decide to just deal with it in the morning. So the next day I call the original CVS I us to use by my old house on 11 mile/John R and same thing they don't see a prescription for me which means this location did not put it in the system or they have my information wrong. So here it is m being on hold for 15 mins now with this location and Im writing this review.

The Middle Eastern Pharmacist is disrespectful, unprofessional, rude; yet he's still there. He has lost my prescription and apparently I am not the only one. He doesn't answer the phone and makes me sometimes wait days or weeks to get my medicine. The only reprieve is the pharmacist that works on Wednesday ( a AA women,) who always make sure I receive my medicine, she always seemed to be working with one tech, but the unprofessional ME pharmacist has two to three. I like to say the tech Nicole is always kind and professional.

This is by far the worst pharmacy you could go to: for months out of convenience I committed myself to this pharmacy. The staff is subpar underprepared and the pharmacist are either rude or liars. It’s a mix of come back tomorrow or in an hour or the next day. Time gas and patients are too fickle in this day and age to constantly be given the short end of the stick. Not only have I switched to Walgreens I’m considering also pulling my Aetna health insurance which is in affiliation with CVS/ care mark. They know that they are busy and serve a very busy area yet instead of working to enrich the quality and quality of their staff they make the customer suffer the blunt of it all. Safe to say in Detroit CVS will never see me or my money. I would be lying if I said I wish them the best so I’ll say that I don’t wish them any harm or bad in their future endeavors. As for cvs as fortune 15 company I wish you all do better to ensure your clients are taken care of, I even attempted to call and complain and was given further run around. I wish this company would live up to its reputation. Minus one star for the lethargic staff, minus one star for the in proper text pick up messaging service, minus one star for being late from lunch/break and making me wait an hour, minus one star for simply being unprofessional.

Terrible customer service. It is the only close enough CVS to the campus for me to walk to. I tried to buy cold medicine, at self checkout the machine says I needed assistance. Nobody would come to assist me as I waited for 10 minutes, there was clearly some employees that had absolutely nothing to do, they weren’t even busy. I have to go to the person check out so I can actually get my cold medicineToday I went to buy vitamins, I asked the lady at the counter if the vitamins was “buy one get one free” like it stated. She looked at me for 5 seconds with a face like I was stupid, and asked if I had a CVS card in a unfriendly rude tone. When she bagged my vitamins, she didn’t even push or hand me the bag, I hand to reach over the counter to get it. I get it, people can have a bad day, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to take it out on someone who did nothing.

I've lost 3 jobs due to this location alone and yes I've spoken to the store manager and the pharmacy manager yet as a first responder I can't get my medication so I can provide care for my consumer's and still have to go to this length to get my point across. This location is in the medical district. Not to mention my PCP is located at 4201 st antoine has been my same doctor for at least 7years. Same perception method she's always used send me medication and refills directly to the pharmacist and guess whose facing eviction me and the pharmacist mgt dosen't care nor does the store manager. And C.V.S is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.........not in my experience and I have been a loyal customer since I was 18. Lord willing I will be 39 next month and facing eviction, dte energy about to be cut off. My phone is off it only works on wifi. I'm just one person I'm sure amongst many customer's I'm sure are facing the delima. Still to this day no one nor the corporation has done anything about the initial problem however the service employees have gotten worse

Yes, it is slow but honestly I've experienced that at every pharmacy in Detroit. That being said, the pharmacist is amazing! He is very helpful and understanding. When I need a prescription quickly, they have always been willing to get it filled quickly!

This pharmacy is generally very efficient and helpful. The store carries a large variety of item. If you use their coupons you can save a great deal on your in store purchases. If you use the self checkouts in the front of the store you can get in and out much quicker. If you don't have a CVS card, asked for an application or apply online. This will save you even more.

This is literally the worst CVS I have ever been to. I’m not sure if it’s the management or what happens but they don’t answer their phone, make it impossible to ask pharmacists questions, and have ridiculously long wait times for prescriptions. Go to the CVS downtown, see the crew there instead, they’re delightful.
