This is by far THE BEST pet store/grooming business I’ve ever been in. Even though my fur pup was a little aggressive by it being his first visit, they did VERY GOOD on his grooming. THANKS TONYA! I would recommend this location to EVERYONE.

They really curate which dog foods they carry and know everything about the ingredients, where they’re manufactured, etc and helped me pick the perfect food for my poultry intolerant pup. They have so much experience & knowledge, and make the community a better place with fun events and weekly nail trims. The employees somehow know every dog in the D by name and truly care about your fur baby.

City Bark is the best pet store in downtown Detroit. They have an amazing selection of food, treats, and toys for your dog and cat. They also offer grooming services and a self serve dog wash! Cleo the cockatoo is also a big hit. If you are in the neighborhood I definitely recommend stopping by and supporting this amazing small business!!

My go to for getting my cat's food or any other pet supplies I would need. I like the products they carry, and the friendly staff (including Cleo the bird). They frequently have events in the store with puppies/dogs, and sometimes even pet photo shoots. It is always a great experience going there!

Amazing owner and staff! If you need a certain size collar or a particular food, they will go out of their way to special order those items for you. The prices are very reasonable and I love that they bring in LC's Mobile Pet Spa for nail trims every couple of weeks. Always prefer supporting this local business over a chain pet supply company!

City Bark is my favorite pet store in all of the Detroit area! They are incredibly friendly and have the most high quality treats and toys for all of my animals! And who doesn’t love Cleo!!!! A big thank you to Alicyn also, she LOVES all animals and is always so sweet to any animal in the store!!

I came here with my two chihuahuas and I was looking for harnesses small enough to fit them and she helped me fit them for my dogs and was so sweet!She is the ONLY stranger my dogs didn't immediately start barking at. She had samples to give me for my dogs and plenty of suggestions for their diet because my dogs at super picky.She had a dog in the shop and he was so cute and well bahaved. Let's just say it was a pleasure shopping here and I would gladly do it again.

This was my first visit to City Barks. We were able to be seen upon arrival as we were early. Service was excellent and timely. DEZEL enjoyed his bath toothbrushing and nails clipped. He smelled wonderful. Thanks for taking care of my dog.(pit bull). Will be back

A small store but with good variety for higher end dog products. They work with a rescue service to introduce dogs to potential adoptees as well, which is how we wound up there.
