I trusted her with my baby and when I went to pick her up her whole nose was swollen and bleeding/scabby. She claimed my dog didn’t like the kennel . And she did that to herself … my dog is crate trained and never have issues going inside. If my dog was having anxiety that bad to the point she injured herself why keep her caged ? I don’t trust this company anymore and the looks of my puppies nose doesn’t look like what she said happened. NEVER AGAIN !!!! They did something cruel to her while I was away. My dog never flinches when I go to pet her she trusts me to not do her no harm and to just be petting her . My baby been flinching for 2 days!!!

Chets Pets is the best grooming business I’ve seen so far in the metro area. She never seems to amaze me. Their Service is great and the staff is amazing and the customer service is a 10. We love it here

She hurt my dog while she was in her care while I was on vacation ! Please pick another dog sitter . I can’t imagine what my dog was enduring while I was away . Just happy she’s safe and at home now . Taking her to vet to get checked out

Good place to take your pets to get groomed. Only down fall is how long it takes. You can drop off your pet at 10 in the morning and the pet won't be done until 8 or 9 at night.

Warning…. Do not let your puppy or dog stay at this girl house. My dog came back with a messed up face and she blamed it on MY DOG SMH then had the nerve to tell me she didn’t give my dog water after a long 4 block run which I don’t believe was done given the fact it was 4 inches of snow on the ground and also 22 degrees out . I would never trust this place again . And I just want to keep everyone’s dog safe because they can’t talk and tell what really happens when we are gone from them.

Very disappointed, I don't know who they stole those pictures from but that is not their work. My dog's paws and ears were not done and they did not brush his teeth. I would that would of been done twice since "he peed on his paws" I asked for a mohawk they didn't do that either. His underside was not done entirely. The knicked a spot along his eyebrows. He left a chopy half done job. And they spray him with some type of cologne.

Will highly recommend. She took time with my fur baby Cha Cha. Cha Cha had been sick for about a month. However she hadn't been to any groomer in that time. And she was very nervous and frisky and very irritable. This young lady took her time and held Cha Cha in her arms and was very patient with her. I appreciate her and will always be proud to take my dog there. Also she responded in a good amount of time. And accommodated me at the last minute. I appreciate you and wish her business well. Thxs

Had my Yorkie-Poo groomed. The young lady was really nice and sweet. My Tyson took to her instantly. I loved his cut. I will be back to support this young lady's business. Love to see the younger generation doing what they love.

Called myself being a loyal customer, came to them before with all four of my pets all different breeds and sizes, And they tried to over charge me for a pet I have taken to them before. When I asked them to explain what the up charge was , I was told for a cut down which is included in what I normally get for my pet who is by the way a 5 pound Shorkie (Shitzu/Yorkie) mix, so why did they have my pet for 6 hours is beyond me… I called after 3 hours and asked if he was ready and was told he pooped and needed to bath again. My dogs poops are solid nuggets mind u. Very unhappy with the cut that was uneven and all over the place. And they did not cut all his nails. Very unprofessional and I won’t back.

My baby Benji lovesss when he gets his new haircuts from Chet’s, I’ve been bringing him for about a year now and they never seem to disappoint! He’s sensitive when it comes to his legs and ears bc they easily get tangled, but they make sure my baby is happy and trimmed cute every visit! go check them out !

At first I was a little scared but only because I pulled up to a house based establishment. BUT I WAS SO WRONG! I put all my faith in CHETS and they earned theirselves a new customer forever. The service was amazing! My baby was matted so bad and she got him right together. She left his ears and tail so he still looks like a Yorkie. My dog is a rescue dog so he’s a little aggressive and shy of people at times. But when I came to pick him up he was all under her and jumping to say goodbye. At this very point I realized that I have found my groomer for life. She put love into her grooms and baths. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Do not miss out on a blessing. Furthermore, the customer service was amazing. She has a great personality and great communication skills. I did not have to wait for her responses and she answered the phone immediately. Not once did I ever feel that I had to worry about KING once I dropped himOff. AMAZING ‼️ I love her for this

Love this place and so does my dog Little-bit. I have a Maltese mixed with Poodle that needed grooming badly so I took my dog to Chets Pet Grooming.Oh My Gosh like when I got her back her nails were trimmed, her cut was perfect exactly like I wanted which was a low cut and lion mane. She had a beautiful little rose bow on one side and her tail curled really cute.Now let me mention my dog was manned when I took her but Chets made her look magnificent. I paid a little extra because my dog was tangled but it was worth every penny. Now Little-bit is groomed every two weeks and I get a $5 discount off an already economical price. But, because I'm now a loyal customer; she blesses me with a discount. Now how cool is that?!? Way cool.In closing the Younglady was very professional, timely, courteous and able to establish a connection with her (Little-bit). My dog is very picky but she liked her. Anyway, Love love love this place.I want my dog to look as amazing as I do.

I had a really awesome experience with Chets grooming. The owner is always so good with my dogs. She makes them look like show dogs. She is always has good tips for keeping there coats healthy , I have a bulldog that sheds alot. The price is very reasonable. I wish we heard about this groomer sooner.

🚫🚫🚫WARNING!!! STAY AWAY!!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG'S YOU'D CHOOSE ANOTHER GROOMER!!! I have two shihtzu. The first time I dropped my dogs off she told me they'd be done in 4-5 hours. It was 8hrs before she'd finished them up. No doubt when I saw the cuts they were flawless (best cut they had ever had). I'll definitely give credit were due. Although the cuts were perfect, there nails were never trimmed ears weren't cleaned and teeth weren't brushed. All services that I payed for. She also took my dogs somewhere else for me to pick them up which was very unprofessional. When I got there one of the children at the house let someone else's dog out and he had gotten away. He almost got hit by two different cars before she caught him. One of the children that were at the house was scared of dogs and almost stepped on my dog after the groomer put my freshly groomed dog on the dusty ground. A couple months later, I took them back because I did like the way she cut their hair. Again she told me 4-5 hours. It was a full 10hrs before I got my dogs. When I got to her house she was just pulling up with her friends (I thought she was supposed to be grooming my dogs though). My dogs were still wet. My white dog was stained, they stunk and they were barely cut. Chet's gets one star only because I had to to write a review. Stay away!

I recently used Chets Pets to have my 2 doggies groomed. One of them had gotten pretty matted but Essence from Chets Pets was still able to make him look really cute even though she had to do an extensive shaving on him. Essence gave my other little girl a cute trim as well. I'm a firm believer in trying and supporting the businesses in my community and I will definitely be using Chets Pets Services again soon! Very highly recommended!

Been going to her for two years and my dogs love her. The owner is very nice and professional. My dogs love her and she does more to tan just dog sit. I received a rescue shih tzu puppy who was in very bad shape. His hair was very tangled and mangled. I find this place online, read the reviews and decided to give it a go. I called and she was able to get him in the next day. Because he was new to grooming, she gave him a little TLC and it took a little longer because she allowed him to get to know her. I didn't mind at all. When I got him back he smelled great and looked like a totally new pup. She was very responsive, knowledgeable and patient. I totally appreciate her business and we'll be back. Please support her, you won't be disappointed.

Terrible! For one, this is located at someone's house, not a store front. The lady seemed nice enough and I wanted to give her a chance, but she had my dog all day, and waited until the last minute to inform me her power went out. If she couldn't cut my dog's hair she should have called me right away and rescheduled.The hair cut for my Pomeranian was choppy and horrible, I'm sure due to her trying to hand cut it with no clippers. I specifically told her I wanted a lion cut, she clearly didn't know what that was. She cut off my dog's main. She tried to give me a $5 discount for the inconvenience, but she didn't have any change (what so called place of business doesn't at least keep $5 worth of change?). I just paid her the full $40 because I wanted my dog back, the place already seemed sketchy as it was and they had my dog all day. I'm pretty sure the photos online are fake. You get what you pay for.

I have nothing but the utmost praise for Essence and Chet's pets. My 6 month old Shih Tzu is extremely hyper , rambunctious , and spoiled to the point where other groomers have not been able to groom him and have not wanted him back. I found Chets Pets and truly believe Essence is a true Dog Whisperer. She took the time to make my puppy feel comfortable and like family she even kept him overnight cuz she had so much faith and knew that he would adjust and be able to get the job done and that's exactly what she did. My puppy looks GORGEOUS. I wish there was a more descriptive word to explain how awesome my puppy looks. I cannot thank Essence enough For the Love, the care and the amazing job that she did. We will be back forever and ever and ever. If there were 10 stars that is what my rating would be.

OMG!! I love Chets! Wonderful and very Pleasant. I’m an owner of an Shih Tzu. My dog is going on 8yrs and when I say she hates everyone, everybody and including dogs she do🤦🏾‍♀️ I’ve been dealing with Chets for now almost 2yrs Maybe a bit longer and my dog LOVES them. I love the grooming services that’s always a great job. They treated my dog as if she was they’re own. Including times when my dog matted hair was so bad they kept her to be sure her paw healed well. When I say Chets is the best believe me they are!

I have a white shih poo pup with black around his eyes and ears. I took my fur baby to them and he returned with fleas. When I called to find out if she indeed gave all the services that were promised she told me yes. I then asked, how is it that he has a live flea crawling on the back of him if he was washed and given a flea treatment? Brace yourself: The response was “I mean he must’ve had fleas before coming, but we do service a lot of dogs”. Imagine my frustration at that point🤯. I was at a loss for hearing any explanations now I cut her off and said if it wasn’t safe for my baby to come to you with that unprofessional statement you just made you should’ve said that in the beginning! 28 days before taking him he had two flea baths during the 28 day stretch he also had a flea treatment before the 30th day. I took him there to be groomed and treated where I thought were professionals...my eyebrows raised when I noticed it was a house and I didn’t want to leave him, so I am partly to blame cause I should’ve followed my first mind. Besides that I had to sit outside when picking him up for 30-45 additional minutes after waiting 8 hrs because she wasn’t there I gave 3 stars because the cut was nice!!

Amazing!!!! My 6 month old Shih Tzu is so playful to the point no one was able to give him a full cut but Chets Grooming was able to get it was. They did a wonderful job!!! I highly recommend them. My new dog groomer from now on!!

One star only because zero stars isn't an option...We adopted a dog from here. We were told that she was an 8 lb Yorkie poo. She is much bigger than that! We were told she would come with shot records. None were handed over but they said they would mail them. They never came. I have called and texted multiple times over the last 2-3 months trying to get these records. You see, we have to take this dog to the groomers and need an updated shot record to show them. I have 2 other dogs that I groom at home but this one growls and bites even though we were told she is great with people! I am not sure what she went through at this place but I left her very nasty! So finally I heard back from the owner. She sent me shot records but they don't add up. I texted her trying to figure out what is what on the record (they showed a rabies shot in June of last year but she was only a year old this summer...) None of my questions have been answered, I still don't have a correct shot record for this dog, and I feel like everything is just super shady! Each time I talk to this girl she gives me a different story about why the original owner had to get rid of the dog. Please do not adopt a dog from this place! You will probably regret it like we do! As far as the grooming goes, when we adopted this dog she had the worst cut I had seen! Her belly and back were trimmed. Her legs, tail, and face were all still very overgrown! I can't speak to the boarding because I haven't and wouldn't leave my dogs with her bit please check out the other reviews about people that had their dogs boarded here!
