It's a little hardware store that has just about everything you need. Really quick you can just run in and out the service is hit and miss but it's still better than the big ones like home depot where your there for at least an hour

3 months I rated this business 5/5. I am now updating my review to reflect my recent visit on 3/22/23.The owner was rude and argumentative toward me and all I wanted was a replacement of a dimmer that didn’t work. I kept my cool and just accepted never again. I did buy some items from the store and he didn’t charge me for one small item. So my total loss was only $2. But never again!!Who argues over $8. Costumer service is non existent and especially for someone that is there almost every month.As for the gentleman in the back counter (not the black guy). HE IS THE WORST!I will drive now out of my way but won’t be back for even a bag of chips.The ladies at the counter are the BEST. The owner needs to watch and learn from them. For folks in the neighborhood there is a great store on Livernois / off the Lodge that understands the customer is always right!So needless to say, DON’T GO WHERE YOUR BUSINESS IS RESPECTED!These comments below are 3 months old.Great service. Great selection and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was glad to see a neighborhood hardware store open pretty late on a Saturday! Or saved me a trip to the further away big-box hardware store 😒🤭😋 I'll definitely be back!

Employees are really kind good place to shop for thing's for home. I have shopped here at least 3 times a week since 2/2020, only when I was in there the was 2 young white male's complaining at owner for saling bandands with Confederates flag on them in a predominantly black community. They have been in community a long time.

This store is fairly equipped but the employees attitude toward customers sucks. I don't know who these other reviewers are speaking with but I live very close by and I have shopped this store for the last 4 years. The African American employee isn't as bad as the Caucasian employees but still doesn't seem to want to be there. They are rude the way they talk to and act toward customers. It makes me not want to go there again! I was so discussed two days ago with the service that I told the owner that the service was terrible and he showed no concern to what was happening! ( If they don't like the job maybe they should find another!)

I visit this door often for my Hardware needs my plumbing needs are household cleaning items because their prices are way better. The owner was very friendly and helpful as well as the staff were honest and polite.

I went to get a key made and they finally have their machine fixed but they don't have those different kind of keys like they used to, their selection has withered all the way down to a soccer ball and a couple of teams that I am not familiar with. Thet have no local teams like the Lions, Tigers or Pistons. They have the Falcons and some other foreign teams.

Do not shop here, unless you want to be treated disrespectful. The only polite worker in the store, is the lady at the front cash register. She is the only person who is nice. The other employees talk to you very snotty.

I’m not a person who is paid to provide favorable comments like the ones you see below. I have patronized this hardware store a number of times, so I know what I am talking about. I find this family owned business at this location to be condescending of its customers, treats its workers poorly, father and son speak openly with abusive and argumentative language. I will never shop at this store again as I was asked to leave this store because I was unwilling to be subjected to their type of customer service. Think of it, in my 61 years I have never in my life been asked to leave a store and not come back.

great to have this place especially as hardware stores are harder and fewer to find in Detroit. they carry housewares, paint, automotive, plumbing, hardware, electrical. for what i was looking for, i needed to inquire at the service desk in back, but they had everything. clean, orderly, good parking.

They're location is great but they don't accept returns or exchanges even with the receipt or within 30 days i would only go here if i had absolutely NO other options and can't borrow it

They have hired more staff, I noticed that right away!I just went to get some birdseed!There was hardly anyone there, I was in and out!I found just what I wanted & then some! .😊
