I’ve been a customer for around 3 years now and I absolutely love bringing my dog here. I’ve even moved from Dearborn to downtown Detroit and have continued to make the drive to bring her here. They’re always super accommodating with scheduling appointments & so so friendly. My dog Dublin literally pulls me into the store because she’s so excited. Dubs always leaves the spa looking & smelling amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend the pet spa to any dog owner!!

J&B (dogs) have been long time customers of TLC dog grooming service for years, and I can't praise them enough. The groomers , front desk lady , and the owner here are truly fantastic, demonstrating exceptional skills in making the boys look their best. What sets them apart is the special care they provide, ensuring the boys feel comfortable and loved during every visit. It's heartwarming to see how much the dogs enjoy going to the groomer – a testament to the positive and caring atmosphere this service consistently delivers. Highly recommended!

The best, most gentle groomer in town! Our shih poo Leo comes home looking like the cutest teddy bear after every appointment. We’ve been to many other groomers before discovering TLC a few years ago. Our pup would shake badly during pickup/drop off at other groomers but with TLC he runs towards the doors wagging his tail. This is SO important. If he is comfortable, I am happy. Needless to say we’ve found our forever groomer and very pleased every single time. Appreciate everything this business does for our pups!

I couldn’t be more disappointed with what they did to my puppy. Once they started work, I received a phone call explaining the hair on his ear was a bit matted, so they needed to go shorter than we originally planned. Their solution: they practically shaved his ears down to nothing. Completely butchered the poor guy. Upon further investigation, I clearly see that any decent groomer could have kept his hair a bit longer to avoid the absolute distress and discomfort they sent him home in. The puppy has been shaking his head from the moment we picked him up. This is clearly a lack of skill. They have no idea what they are doing. Furthermore, when I dropped my puppy off, we agreed on a 50% cut off his body. Especially considering the winter months, leaving some fur is important. He had about a 90% cut, Leaving him without any fur to insulate his little body. They are absolutely atrocious. I will never step foot in that facility again, and neither should you!

TLC was very accommodating,professional but personal. This is the best my Pomeranian Moose has ever looked. He looked and felt like a cloud,he smelled amazing! They also did not over trim him. I was so happy that someone trimmed him instead of cutting his fur. He was comfortable and happy when I picked him up so I knew they were very sweet with him. I've been to several different places and honestly gave up on trying any where else after a while. I'm so impressed and thrilled that I found TLC. Best groomer!!!!!

Regrettably, my recent experience with this grooming service for my dog was extremely disappointing. The outcome of the grooming session was far from satisfactory, leaving my dog looking distressed and poorly groomed. What added to the frustration was the lack of professionalism in the service. There was a notable absence of communication regarding the timeframe for completion, which I found to be unacceptably unprofessional. The uncertainty surrounding when my dog would be ready added unnecessary inconvenience to the experience. Given the subpar results and the unprofessionalism displayed, I would strongly advise pet owners to reconsider using this grooming service and explore other options. Investing in a grooming service that prioritizes professionalism and delivers satisfactory results is essential, and unfortunately, this particular service fell short of those expectations. Save your money and seek a grooming service that values both the well-being of your pet and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Horrible service bad customer service and the owner has a really nasty attitude. They also cut my dog and did not want to tell me so my dog got a skin infection.

The staff are very friendly and they do a great job. My dog has a ton of fur being a keeshond, and they always get his fur silky smooth. The prices are slightly high, but they are worth it. This is a pic of my pup after he got home from getting groomed.

The manager was very rude and loud. She hang up on me two times!! No consideration of emergencies and appreciation to loyal customers. She made fun of the fact that i was late due to an emergency and refused to take my cat in

Not impressed. Told person on phone about my dogs medical issues she said no promblem. I drop her off few minutes later i get a call to pick her up. Wasted a week . Groomer would not service her because of her medical issues not even cut her nails said dog snapped at her . I poke my dog 2x daily for blood, give her insulin 2x daily she has never snapped at me , she is a foster I have had her 2 years The woman that was the groomer came from back did not look like she wanted to be there , angry. My dog cannot not see or hear, but I am sure she could sense. Very unprofessional. I believe with that attitude, it was best. Should have never booked the apointment and wasted everyones time.

I think when I first sent Azul they did not have a proper groomer. Thus they made several mistakes. Azul is very timid and a little difficult to groom. Now they seem to have proper groomers and I'm more satisfied with their service.

Highly recommend the staff at TLC Pet Spa, we’ve been taking our Chloe girl there for years & they always make her look so pretty & silky soft! Her nails are always done perfectly too! Our Chloe loves it there & so do we!

Took my puppy Milo here for his very 1st nail trim months ago and he was in and out in less than 10 minutes! No price haggling or “you have to get a whole bath to get a trim” like other groomers.

Not a fair review as it is based on one incident. However, my wife has been a loyal customer for four years driving in from South Lyon. Today on her drive in she encountered several areas of construction. She called and said she would be a little late around 15 minutes. She was told that anything over 15 minutes would be an extra $10 charge, even one minute. She decided to turn around and try a local groomer. Seems a shame to lose a loyal customer because she was happy with the service previously.

They stand up to their name! The spa has a fresh smell and friendly workers. They really take the time to meet and remember their clients and give the best customer service.I called for a last minute appointment but couldn't get them all in together. Honestly didnt except to being that it was mid Nov. Then they called me the day before and asked if I wanted the cancelation so all three could go on the same day! So awesome for thinking of us! The pups came home looking gorgeous and smelled great for weeks!Thank you so much 💖🐩

Before calling here, I've tried 5 other places for a cat nail trimming and they couldn't do it because they were understaffed or they didn't even answer the phone even after multiple times. I called TLC Pet Spa and they answered right away and very kindly helped me out! I'm super grateful for that after a string of bad luck. Wonderful staff, thank you so much!

I really don't understand some of these reviews. I've been going here forever (maybe 10 years now) and while I might have seen a cut that wasn't perfect once or twice in those 10 years I know they are doing their best and it's ridiculous to expect absolute perfection 100% of the time with an animal that is going to do what they want.My dog Nora is always in a great mood after going in for a trim and Ronin was the same way.I would also add that I'm impressed how the owner stands up for the staff, it's nice to see.

Ive been taking my dogs Moose and Tesla here for years and they love it here! Moose is now a senior dog and they always take extra care with him and give him lots of breaks so he doesn’t get too sore afterward. They’re always so excited to get a bath and if I take too long to get them in they get pushy - TLC has spoiled them!!!!
