Had some time to kill so I took a side trip to Detour Village. Got hungry and decided to take a chance.Got a cheese burger and was very pleasantly surprised. Very good "bar burger" and the service was top notch as well.I don't get this way often but I'll definitely be back.

Was a bit skeptical on entry as this is a small town tavern. I’m not used to being in this environment, however it was delightful. The service was amazing. The locals talked of politics and current news and we loved their perspective. The culture and color of banter was refreshing. The food, beyond the best burgers we have EVER had. The cook and bartender/hostess were exceptional. Absolutely loved our visit. Will come again!

Had the grilled cheese, very fresh & yummy. Friends said their food was good too. Curly fries & house made potato chips were fantastic.Opened at 11am on a Sunday morning, gorgeous patio. Short staffed, and they are not serving breakfast menu. But definitely worth the stop. Staff was very friendly and nice.

They serve everything from booze and beer to chicken wings and big hamburgers. If you can't find anything else in town they're almost always open.

Came from downstate on vacation and my autistic son who eats nothing but chicken strips was out of luck because we got there Friday after the grocery store closed. Thank you for having the best chicken strips (my son says). The ladies working were friendly and fast thanks so so so much.

It gets 5 stars because Tim who is the owner is so welcoming. His staff is great too. The chicken wings are delicious and I never argue with fried cauliflower. The only thing on my wish list for next time is some Malibou Rum.

Breakfast was great! Food came in good timing and friendly service. ( my only grip was the bacon cooked to absolutely no life left) thin and crisp/flimsy. Overall would go again for food.

Tried to come here for breakfast 2 times and first time came at around 11:01 and was told "she will throw a cow if i ask her for breakfast we stop making it at 11:00". Then second time was told "she already cleaned the grill we stop breakfast at 10:30. I recomend going down the street to the mainsail where we got brekfast after the village in denied us or drive up to big d's in pickford for the best breakfast around.

Great burgers and great service. We were there a week ago, en route to The Drummond Island Club. We stopped in, not expecting much, but we're pleasantly surprised at the amazing burgers this little hole in the wall place produced! Gordon Ramsey would be jealous! Actually, he'd likely buy the place outright! I didn't think to take any photos, having driven 11 hours straight to get from Cincy to Drummond Island on time. It can get pretty loud there, with a constant stream of ferry passengers flowing to and from, but if you get a chance...
