I am very thankful for this vet. They have always been wonderful. Our poor baby had an emergency and they were able to get us in asap. They were very patient with us and caring. I’m not being dramatic when I mean that this is the best place around. We have gone to different vets and this place the far better than anyone we went to. Dr. Lusty and her team are fantastic. Great prices as well.

Best groomers with an ability to work with pets struggling with anxiety/fear of being groomed. My anxiety has been through the roof trying to find an understanding groomer to work with my doodle who has to be groomed. After 4 previous groomers and some VERY expensive ones we found Molly at Pierson Pet Hospital. Also VERY fair pricing which helps with med costs needed for grooming. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. Everyone was patient, understanding, and always willing to help and answer questions. Unfortunately my cat had an undetectable underlying heart condition and after her spay did not make it. The technicians and doctors did everything they could for both me and my cat. I cannot express enough how wonderful and sympathetic everyone here was during this hard time. In the worst case scenario of it all I still recommend and praise the people who are putting in the hard work and dedication here.

We had to put one of our fur babies down Friday and the staff at Pierson are the best. This was a very difficult decision to make and the staff including Dr. Lusty were so compassionate during this very emotional time. We also received a personally signed sympathy card in the mail yesterday with flower seeds to plant in Oreo's memory it brought tears to my eyes. It was so thoughtful for them to take the time to send to us.

I brought my dog Katie here for humane euthanasia due to aggression and reactivity. They treated my fiancé and I with the utmost kindness and understanding. Dr. Amy showed so much care towards Katie and it's really nice to see how much the staff is effected by the loss of a dog they just met. It made me feel less alone.

I hope I don’t start crying oops .. too late !! I truly cannot say enough about Pierson Pet Hospital. My sweet Sasha was diagnosed with cancer Dr Amy and her staff were the most caring people I have ever met. I was devastated when I found out my dog had cancer and she didn’t have very much time to live I was heartbroken 😭 Dr. Amy and her staff were so supportive throughout this whole thing unfortunately I recently just lost Sasha. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the support I have received from them they truly care about their patients. So many times I called up there and Dr. Amy always took my phone calls and listen to me cry over Sasha along with her staff. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for me and Sasha . I highly recommend Dr. Amy and her staff for anyone that wants their pet cared for by people who really care . I will never forget the kindness and support they gave me when I needed it the most . Thank you for the wonderful sympathy card I received from you . All the kind words touch my heart and soul. I can’t thank you enough for helping me get through this !! Wonderful Vet Hospital! My first thought as I walked in was… wow beautiful, clean, and it smells so good. We see Dr Amy, she’s very educated, sweet, and takes her time with my dog. The staff is also very nice. I give this hospital 5 stars!

This veterinary clinic is the most caring and honest that I have found. They are polite and flexible when it comes to scheduling. The doctors actually take time to give the diagnosis and explain your pets treatment options without feeling like there rushing through it all. I cannot thank them enough for all they've done for my pets. If they were not so thorough on their examinations one of my dogs wouldn't be here today.

Pierson Pet Hospital is an amazing facility. I am a manager at Stonington Kennels in Goodrich, and we have a wonderful working relationship with them. Not only are they willing to help us out whenever needed, most of our staff members take our personal pets here. I have worked with both Dr. Amy and Dr. Lusty and they are amazing at what they do. They are extremely attentive to your needs, and take the time to discuss the needs you have in detail. Unfortunately, it seems the vet clinics I have used in the past treat the experience very transactional which led to me to try Pierson and use Dr. Amy. I feel that I have a great relationship with her where her and the techs on staff will take personal interest in my needs and truly understand and care the needs of me and my pets! Called the office when my 12 week old puppy fell off couch and broke leg. True emergency. Explained this when I called and was told they could not see her today. Stated emergency and they said you have not been here before and we can not see even if an emergency. Do not take any loved pet to this place. They obviously don't care about animals and your love ones. If I could give a negative rating....I would.

My fur baby was having seizures so I called Pierson Pet Hospital and was able to get him in right away. From the second we walked in the ladies that greeted us were so sweet, friendly and caring. The nurse Tyson had was just sweet and caring. I have to say Dr. Lusty is by far the best Vet we have ever had. She was genuinely concerned for our sweet boy. She made him feel comfortable and got on his level. Dr. Lusty called the next day to check on Tyson to see how he was doing. Absolutely warmed my heart. I could literally go on and on. And I know I’m missing some things but in one visit I have switched Vets and cannot give enough praise for the amazing care that we received on such a scary day ❤️

The entire staff interacted with Virgil. He is a high anxiety (was abused) rescue dog. Molly (his groomer) and the desk staff showed Virgil affection and I was amazed with his interaction with them. I've decided to use Pierson for all Virgil's needs.Your employees are amazing 👏They accomplished in minutes what 2 other places (vet & groomer) couldn't in 2 years. Virgil relaxed and was a happy boy (rather than stressed) when I picked him up.Animals know when a humans heart is true. Virgil approved all he met in your office. This makes me very happy. Virgil is all I have and my heart aches when he is uncomfortable.I cannot thank you ALL enough.

We brought our 22 year old cat there as he had been sprayed by a skunk. Before they would do any grooming, they required he gets a new distemper shot. When we brought him there, they kept finding things he needed. They were able to get the bill up to $475. Then they said he needed another blood test. That one was lost, so we never got results. He has never gotten the grooming. They keep adding things to cost more. Won't get cat groomed there.

After following Dr Amy from Briarwood Veterinary in Grand Blanc to Pierson Pet Hospital in Davison, I don't feel like I have gained much. Dr Amy is friendly at least. That's where it ends. The process to get to her is cluttered with multiple employees that always seem bothered by your presence. Their website claims that great medicine starts with relationships. I'm not sure what that means, perhaps just an attempt at creative writing to get you in the door. They also claim they focus on excellence and pride themselves on the knowledge their team has. Not at the front desk. There's always a lot of I don't know, let me ask, I'm not sure, I'll have to check, etc that goes on. Always leaves me wondering do they know anything at the front desk? Wait times are long even with an appointment. Once you finally get into a room the wait time is even longer. Bring a book. I've always received an apology for being kept waiting. It gets old. I did not want to believe the negative reviews. I do now. I have taken six animals here in the last 8 months, so I'm assuming that I don't bring enough business here to warrant that "relationship". Good to know. I'm moving on. Lastly, their medication pricing is very high compared to other pharmacies. The exact medication that was given to me was priced at $35 at Pierson. Went to another pharmacy that charged $20 for the exact prescription and the exact same quantity. Don't assume you are getting a deal here, chances are you are not. Also, Meijer offers free antibiotics for pets. Call Meijer, you'll be glad you did.

Lola is always treated with love and care at Pierson Pet Hospital. I also love that they give me advice and assist me with raising my puppy. They never overstep but are always willing to help with suggestions.The grooming and care is fantastic and I am very happy with all of the care that Lola receives. I travel alone and I love the way that the doctors care about helping her travel safely with me but never want to over medicate, but they certainly help me to keep her safe.

In all the years I have been taking my dogs to veterinarians I have NEVER been treated so well on all accounts. The staff and the doc spent so much time with me and my dog making sure I understood everything and making sure I understood. In addition I received a call the next day on the bloodwork from my vet to go through and add to our plan for my dog. IMPRESSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. This group is amazing, patient, great listeners and just are truly smart and compassionate people in general.This is my Public TY to your team. All of you are in the right profession!!! My dog was very sick and getting worse because a wrong diagnosis from the previous doctor. I took him to Dr. Amy and the results with her diagnosis and treatment were amazing. Not only my dog became my healthy boy again, it was also immediately. The staff is great and they have their hearts on the profession, not on the money. I am very satisfied with Pierson hospital and specially with Dr. Amy. I definitely will continue taking my dog here and I highly recommend this clinic. Don’t ever use Springfield Veterinary Clinic, BTW…

At first I was little nervous when we came out of the room, and a couple of dogs were checking out. After the receptionist told us to have a seat. It calmed us down. Sully (my kitten) didn't even seem to mind his visit that day. I would have to say we were pretty happy with our visit. Thank you.

I thought that Dr. Ahrens was amazing!!! He was kind, well spoken, very knowledgeable and very helpful. He explained things in detail and didn't rush our visit at all. I really appreciated his kindness. I'm glad I chose Pierson Pet Hospital for our sweet little rescue Gertie. Thanks for a great experience! We'll definitely be back for all of our animal care needs!

Just an FYI so everyone is aware. It is illegal for the Vet to hold your pet ransom until you pay. This is directly from the Davison Police Department.This happened to us last week at Peirson Vet.Our dog was in the back, and we were about to check out, but they refused to give our dog to us until we paid. We pay everytime we go in there, never had a bill unpaid. I just wanted to hold my dog while we were checking out.Jyl the "office manager" made it very clear to us that they would keep our dog until we paid. She did this in front of our child. My family was highly disturbed by this situation. It was quite disgusting to say the least!We paid. We got our dog. We will never return. Just want the community to know that what Pierson Vet did was illegal. Don't let it happen to you. ;)Also, Dr. Pearson called us on the phone before we came to get our dog. He was quite unprofessional, and sounded completely uneducated. 👎🏼

Missy groomed my cat and did an absolutely amazing job. All of the staff were very nice and responsive to phone calls and questions. You can tell they truly care about you and the care of your animal. The price was outstanding and half what the big box stores charge for grooming. Would recommend to anyone in need, I will be going here exclusively for all my cats care going forward.

I had used another vet in the area and it was time to move. I brought my cats to Pierson and couldn't be happier. All of the staff are great people to work with and Dr. Pierson calls clients himself to see if there are any questions because we're not allowed in at this time because of Covid. I feel very comfortable leaving my cats there, they are my fur babies and want the best care for them.
