UPDATE: I’ve done most of my shopping for my renovations at Menards. I really do like this place despite my earlier review about the lack of amigos. The staff is very helpful and kind. They’ve helped me locate many things in the store and addressed my questions. I really appreciate when Menards is running their 11% rebate offer. I suggest to go early or late to this store as they are always busy.LAST REVIEW: Prior to visiting Menards, I called the store to find out if there were any amigos available as I have a injury/disability. I was told there were amigos and we drove to the store and we did not find any amigos available. There were very few people in the disabled parking and the only thing available was a wheelchair that looked like it was purchased at a junk yard. The prices were reasonable. There were only two lanes available to check out so it took longer than necessary.

I’ve always gone to Menards in Davison and never had a bad experience but after purchasing a washer and dryer from there, never again! They called me to tell me they only had the floor model for the dryer with dents and offered a discount which was fine. I picked it up but it didn’t work so we had to return it and I called the store and was told they were getting 3 on the truck the next day and it comes in around 10 am. We came back the next day in the evening and they did not have them! I had to get a refund and purchase an upgrade and spend even more money. I was told it would be at the front registers and I waited for over 30 minutes for that to happen! Ohh and the customer service lady that did my refund was very rude!

I went to the Clio location. What I needed was out of stock. While in the Clio store, I called the Davison store to see if they had it in stock. I was told yes, he checked the shelf to do a visual check and verified that the price was the same. I drove a half hour to purchase the item and was told they do not honor Clio's price and that the item is $47.00 higher at the Davison store. The store manager told me that they are a "separate entity", and that the other store didn't pull an expired tag, yet there was no expiration on the tag.

Went to checkout and left cash on the counter. Our cashier Mars, found my husband and returned the cash to him ! Can’t believe there are still good people like her left in this world ! Thank you for your honesty may this act of kindness be returned to you !!! THANK YOU !!!!

Cashier said she would call somebody to help me in patio furniture.....10 minutes later still waiting.....3-4 employees standing 20' away in tools talking about nothing in particular......no service no sale... i spend about $3-5,000 per year.......not happy

I wanted a new shower head and Menards was $30 cheaper than the same product at Home Depot, so despite passing this store many times, today I made my first visit in.A lot of stores seem to be adding what aisle the item is in on their app and thankfully Menards is part of this trend. The in-store numbering is a little chaotic but I was able to use the app, create a shopping list for the stuff I wanted at home and then find them relatively easily in-store by looking and seeing where they were listed.The cashier was really nice and friendly and we had a quick little convo as she rang me up.All in all it was a really nice experience for me as someone who doesn't usually shop at Home improvement stores and has little knowledge shopping in them. With a mix of a good app design, good prices and friendly staff, they helped make my trip and little project a success.

This review is for those who may be using online ordering and thinking it somehow involves the local store. This is my local store. There is no way to let folks no about issues ordering on line so this store gets the review. On Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023 I placed an order from this store site. The next day, Nov. 29, Wednesday, I received email confirmation that said order shipped/billed and my bank account was charged. So Menards received my money. I paid extra for quick shipping from UPS.As of Monday, December 4th, the item has not even left. I learned that this is coming from some Grand Rapids distribution center. A fact that explains a lot in itself. But the fact that 5 days after being paid, the product hasn’t even left seems a bit like, well, let’s just say dishonest. Imagine using potentially millions of dollars of other people’s money while not actually providing anything. Interesting business plan.Bottom line here is, some years ago I had a very bad transaction with Menards and swore never to return. That was about 10 years ago.Here’s to at least another 10.Oh, I gave 2 stars because presumably they had product in stock. Or perhaps they lied and really don’t have it and is why it is not actually shipped. Now that would truly be a crime.12-6-2023.. received product today. Eight days from order, seven days from shipped date but was actually shipped on Tuesday the 4th. I did get a message from someone that they would look into the delay. That was on Monday, three days ago and it shipped the next day. Assuming the issue was expedited, it is appreciated.

Basically have everything you need but need more display area for vacuums in a larger variety, and the grocery area is fairly comparable to grocery store prices

In many ways Menards is better than Home Depot. Has more decorative selection, and prices are generally cheaper. Between the two you will find what you need for any home projects.

Went to Menards today in Davison to get plumbing supplies after I was NOT helped at Home Depot on Court St. Richard in the plumbing department was excellent and after I showed him my project he informed me that the 3/4 PVC I was intending to use was wrong, I needed 3/4 CPVC. He was able to show me the materials I need to complete my project. Richard was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for having great employees.

They bid a steel roof for my house but did not figure enough soffit material for the porch and above deck so I have to pay another $900 to match and finish the houseThis is the 2nd time they made a mistake on the steel I had to reorder it when I asked them to double check with truss print

This place is a bit hectic due to the outbreak but it's a fantastic store, it's like a toy store for dads. Love this place for its selection of just about everything under the sun, I could walk around for hours once it's safe to have a leisurely stroll through the stores. Huge yard for all your building needs!

Staff didn't seem to want to help and prices for delivery were expensive. They seemed like I was a nuisance $900 for a washer with delivery and install. I bought at Best Buy for $598 free delivery and install. No sale for me and told my friends too

Due to the lack of Amigos in the Davison store, I parked in a handicap spot in the front of the store. I went in and got the cleaning product I needed. The cleaning area is right near the service desk so I asked if I could pay for it there. I explained I had recently had knee surgery and didn't want to have to walk to the end of the store and then back to where my car was parked near the entrance. The clerks reply was "Oh, I can't do that. I will get in trouble." I told her "ok. I will let you put it back then" and I left out the front door. I realize that Menards does not practice customer satisfaction therefore this customer will NOT be using your store anymore. I will go to Home Depot where I get better service and yes, they have Amigos

I used to love Menards, but my past few visits have been terrible. I went to buy a lawn mower, and asked for help with the floor display, since it was the last one. Asked if they offer a discount since it was the floor model, answer was no, because they give you the 11% rebate. Fine, whatever. I informed the associate, I had just had surgery, so I needed help. He said, he had just had surgery a month ago, and he was fine, so I could just push the mower to the cash register.. Ok, well thanks for that information.. Get to the cash register and say I need help putting it in my car, because I can’t pick it up. She said she would let someone know. They never sent anyone to help me, so after about 10 minutes of waiting, another customer helped me load it into my car. Their customer service has seriously gone down hill, and the level of rudeness has gotten out of hand. I would rather pay a little extra, and go elsewhere.

Super friendly staff. I was in this week and my cashier Traci...was amazing. I got chit-chatting with her because she commented on my "grandpa" shirt. We talked the whole time she was ringing me up. I left and got halfway across the parking lot to hear someone yelling, " grandpa... you forgot your bag" It was Traci... running my stuff out. She brought a smile to my face. I'm glad they have people like her working at the store.

Told sales person what I was going to do, put a new roof on a car port. Gave them the dimensions and sales person put together everything I needed to do that. Paid for delivery. Got my order was missing 5 important pieces(1 was delivered). Called and told them the person that put together left 5 pieces off. Salesperson I talked to said I got what I paid for , told him I didn’t put the order together and thought the salesperson knew what all I needed. Was told now I have to come and get the rest of my order and pay for another delivery. RUDE. RUDE. RUDE I’ll never buy building supplies from the ever again. Their not the only lumber yard around!

I thought I would try the Davison Menards instead of I-75 down to Auburn Hills one. Traci in outdoor section mistakenly overcharged me for paver caps, unfortunately, I had to go to customer service to get the credit back on my card. Traci even notified them I was coming. When I got to customer service, with a loaded cart and after a short wait, I stepped up and experienced the rudest customer service ever had from a woman named Meca. Honestly, I felt like she had a grudge or hated to work there, (She had just returned from the breakroom). I understand a bad day but sheesh. So her last insult as I tried to maneuver my loaded cart out the entrance door, she says "you can't use that door" even though it is opening automatically for the guy bringing carts off the lot. Never again will I shop Davison Menards.

Great store!!! Very tech savvy and in the now using QR scans for pricing. Can scan and buy items from my phone. Helpful friendly staff. Can track my special orders through the website don’t have to call the store or wait for an email telling me when it arrives. Picking up items from order pick up can scan myself into the yard and there is signage providing a number to call so I don’t have to leave my vehicle can get curbside service.

I normally love menards, but the customer service service lately has been awful. I used to love that associates were so helpful. Tonight, 3 associates were at the building supply desk, and I waited while one was on the computer and 2 were helping finish one customer. As they finished, the one guy walked with the customer and the lady walked away! I asked her, "Are you really going to just walk away?" This type of incident has happened more than once. Then there are 11 people in line at the register and 1 register open. This is unacceptable! I'm off to home depot!!!

My decking has been sitting 1 hour away for 5 days and is still not here 5/17/23Today I get a call stating if I call back in 10 min. They can deliver it today. I called back in 1 min. But now they cant.Never purchase from themMANAGER GAVE ME A NUMBER I CAN CALL and it is a voice mail telling me how important customer service is to them but i cant talk to anyone.
