September 28, 2023. I went into ace hardware after I got off work I went in to fix my toilet I needed parts. I asked for help because I did not really know what I needed and someone helped me. They said the standard for a toilet is like 2 inches so I took that and I went home I found out it was wrong. It was a 3 inch and I proceeded to go back with all the stuff and they got me the new seal that was 3 inches but they said the kit would still be fine so I believe them and I went home. When I got to that part it wasn’t fine. I needed the 3 inch for everything. I explain to them that they sold me the wrong part again. First time was my fault. Second time was theirs and I asked them what time they were closing and they proceeded to tell me in five minutes. I asked if they would wait since technically this was their fault, and I needed to finish the toilet that night and they refused. I feel that when you go into a hardware store that’s more of a specialty store that they need people with knowledge and if they don’t have it, it’s not a store that I would want to shop at anymore. The joked that takes three times coming in to do plumbing and apparently they made sure of it. I ended up having to go to Home Depot which I received help that was needed and buying the parts there and yet I have to still return the parts to this place. I would never shop there again.

In the two visits that I’ve made to Ace Hardware in Davison, they have not had what I was looking for however, they have been so helpful in helping me locate what I needed. The store is clean, well organized, lots of parking spaces and helpful, personable staff.

Recently moved about halfway between this ACE and another. First time into the Davison store and I wasn't impressed. Lack of product and staff knowledge were obvious. I've been a big fan of ACE for the past 30 plus years and carry premium member status but this store isn't going to be one that I frequent.

I love the fact, that even though the place had been sold (awhile ago) the new owners have kept some of the interesting different items that you can stroll around and look at. And sometimes purchase. I find every time that I go in there the people are friendly and respectful. One day I'm just going to browse!

This store usually has that one odd thing that I cannot find on a daily basis, but man alive is the customer service there poor. I don't know if it is because I am a woman in a hardware store or if the men there are just rude in general!

Joe was very helpful the Day I went in to get a Furnace Filter for my 80 yr old Brother In Law. Joe also,gave me a " Neat Tidbit too while I was here purchasing a Furnace Filter.

I needed a specific tool that was usually only sold at a decent store.....No box store garbage....After calling several big ace retailers in metro Detroit and no stock available,I called the right store in Davison...No Stock any where but after a brief hold at Davison ace they had seven in the basement!...very well stocked store,and when I purchased my items the owner insisted on helping me carry it to my truck,even though he’s twice my age!!...Very impressive,and thanks for your help!...I’ll be back if I only need a single bolt

Avoid going here if you value your life.Just to preface, I've been going here for over 7 years and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. When the pandemic struck and we were forced into quarantine, I really needed to get something for my leaky basement. When I went inside in the middle of April I saw that NO ONE in the store were wearing masks - customers and associates alike. There weren't any signs for face masks nor were there any safety precautions put into place.Fast forward to today (July 3rd). I went in for some garden supplies since it was early in the morning and again, not one person in the store was wearing a mask. There still weren't any safety signs or precautions put into place. The associates were trying to come up to me and talk to me and I had to walk away from them. One of them even hacked really hard into some items.I'm really disappointed in this ACE Hardware because I was a frequent member here. I will no longer be supporting this business and the rest of my family is on board with boycotting this store. It's a real shame that people aren't following pandemic procedures by wearing masks and following social distancing. Good luck if you decide to venture into this store.

Cindy was so helpful on the phone so I went there to buy the plumber product.. Larry assisted me while I waa there... Very helpful and nice. Both of them. Customer service was great! And Larry was very knowledgeable on the situation of the plumbing problem we had. He recommend some helpful products. Cindy was a pleasure to talk too also. Why I like smaller hardwares. More personable..

I liked this store before and wanted to give them my business.This last visit was disappointing however. I found zero employees wearing masks, only one other customer had a mask, and the covid precautions other than plexiglass at the cashier desk, was non existent. As I was checking out, the next customer was called up, sans mask of course, practically shoulder to shoulder with me and they allowed it. It may not be mandatory, but it would be just courteous to protect your customers better. I won't be back, and it saddens me because as I said, I liked this store.

One of those “only if I absolutely have to” stores. Some staff is helpful but for the most part, they’re lazy, extremely rude, and very over priced. Got cashed out by a geriatric 90 year old that was super inconvenienced that I needed supplies for an emergency home repair today. Hopefully he has a better day tomorrow.

Very good hardware store. They have a large selection of all kinds of hardware products you would expect from an Ace store. You never know what you will find. The staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. I come here whenever I'm in the area and need to buy anything hardware related.

So I arrive at 5:52pm (sign states open till 6pm) to grab a couple paint brushes. Well, lights are on, but DOORS locked! To top it off one of the workers walks by me standing at the locked door, AND throws his hands up at me. As if OH WELL! Off to Home Depot I go, they always welcome my business.😉😉

Order a grill that was advertise free assembly and delivery if you spend over $400 so I thought awesome- the grill was delivered to the store Thursday got email saying grill was ready Friday. I called wasn’t put together yet but to call back Saturday and they would have it ready. Well it’s 3:49p.m Saturday I called not put together and they delivery on their time. I had told the gentleman Friday I would get it if delivering was an issue I just wanted it put together he ensured me it be done Saturday. Now the gentleman I talked today said to me call back tomorrow and maybe it be put together and ask for Dave and hung up. Great service they promote a free assembly and delivery but have no hurry to provide it . Should went to Home Depo no grill for food tonight thanks Ace in Davison for a great service you don’t provide, you had no problem accepting my money and now have a grill in a box of mine that you have had for 3 days and still not put together.

I broke my reciprocating saw and lost a screw and took it in the Davison Ace Hardware and the guys there replaced the screw and repaired it in about 5 minutes. Excellent service and very helpful courteous guys. I will be shopping there from now on instead of the big box hardware stores. Thank You Ace Hardware!!

Another great business in Davison! They guys here know what they're doing, and are always happy to help you find what you're looking for.My favorite part is the sales on good quality tools that they always have - I never seem to be able to leave without buying a new Craftsman wrench or socket set!
