We grew up in the Custer area and have lived outside of MI for the past 13 years for my husband's military career. We've ordered a ham for Christmas to 3 different states now. This last one came with a hole in the package and while it's probably still safe to eat, Sanders is sending another just in case. I love being able to support local business even when we're not local anymore. Great company, great food.

We both greatly enjoyed Sanders' 96th Anniversary Celebration today! They provided a free lunch & happy atmosphere that we loved this warm fall day. Love their hams, bacon, burger, etc.

Neat store to buy all sorts of meat products. I am a huge fan of the hot meat sticks that sanders sells.

We actually found this place by accident but we were glad to have stumbled upon it. We picked up a couple of packs of beef jerky. The backwoods jerky is great, but the peppered jerky is better. Next time we will have bring a cooler and bring home some of their (massive) steaks. Also, free smells. :)

Stayed at The Ludington House Bed and Breakfast and asked where they purchased their bacon from. They said Sanders Meats so we stopped in and purchased awesome Canadian Bacon and the wonderful ham in the photo. Everyone loved it!

Its a great meat/butcher shop. Just beware it's like walking into a tool store. So much good meat your heart starts pumping. I got two t-bones on sale always tender and tasty. They do great job processing deer.

Some delicious smoked meats and hams. Venison salami is great and their ham is amazing. Plus you just can't go wrong with a 3 foot long branschwieger for 15 dollars. Their ground beef is done fresh daily and can not be beat by anything else out there. Plus it's usually the same price as any of the local grocery stores ground beef. Beef sticks and jerky are pretty darn good too.

Most delicious brats we've ever had! We needed a large quantity of bratwurst for a non-profit event in February. I reached out to Sanders and spoke with Staci a couple of times. She was extremely helpful and kind, and helped us meet the deadline needed. We were blown away with the quality and flavor of these brats! Everyone we gave them out to loved them, and our crew couldn't stop eating them as well. Going to be keeping these in our personal fridge to have on hand for grilling!

This is absolutely the best place to go! The beef jerky is the best I have ever had! The Bacon cheese burgers are fantastic also. Actually, I like pretty much like everything they have! Keep up the Great work Sanders meat!

We live in a small town, and locally, all the stores stopped selling a specific cut of meat. This cut has been a tradition in my family for years on holidays.It’s crazy how it doesn’t feel the same without it. However, Sanders carries it. They ship it (quickly) and honestly saved us at Christmas. Whoever answered the phone was a dream. It was delicious and a fair price. I will never go anywhere else. Now, they are apart of our tradition.

Sanders is the only meat market I go to now. The meats are amazing quality and the service is amazing too. Prices are great compared to meijers and Walmart prices. Won't ever switch while they are within driving distance for me. I buy my months worth of meats at a time and my family is set. Again amazing place

I ordered a glazed spiral ham for Thanksgiving. It looked nice but it was so salty I couldn’t even stand to eat it.I was so hoping that it would be good but I will never order a ham from this place again!

We visit this place frequently. It is a local favorite, for sure. Today I stopped in for some meat for Christmas and decides to get a ribeye steak for tonight, granted we grilled it and seasoned it but it was one of the best steak I have had in a long time! Thank Sanders Meat market.

Best Meat Market around the northwest Michigan area. Their crew that work there are really a friendly bunch.Never had anything better than their Butterball ham, it the best! Snack sticks, hotdogs, bacon, steaks, chops, anything you want, they've got and it's all good.I would have to say the Butterball ham is my Favorite.

This place has the best steak, summer sausage, meat sticks and smoked bacon I’ve ever had anywhere!!! Yes I know they deliver but I will drive over four hours to get there just to enjoy the experience of interacting with the people waiting on you!!! Go there and bring coolers with you.

They have THE BEST picnic hams. We live in Bay City but we always get our picnic hams from Sanders. It’s worth the drive !

Phenomenal meats and fantastic selection!! You want it, Sanders has it. They even have smoked bones and pig ears for your pup! We usually purchase snack sticks, hot dogs, pork chops, brats and summer sausage. Smoked hams are EXCELLENT as is everything at the store.

Wow! Gotta try this place. .. Excellent place for smoked meats! Very reasonable prices too. The jerky and beef stick was so good. Also, the sausage, hotdogs, bacon some of the best I have ever had. It's worth the stop!

Got the buy 5 get 1 free deal on brats. Tried three new flavors but the other half were mushroom/swiss, our favorite! Also got some first grind beef for our pet ferret. Everyone's going to eat good this weekend.

Always great meat but the guys are rude! Every time I go I buy a whole ribeye. And without fail they look at me like I can’t afford it and say “are you sure? It going to be $306 dollars.” Yes I’m sure or else I wouldn’t have said I wanted it. Next time I’m just going somewhere else.

Their meat is fantastic, somewhat a drive but we'll worth. A little disappointed today I really wanted a seasoned pork roast. I wish they would do some around 5 pounds, for people that there is only one person alone. Will be back up soon.

Up steelhead fishing from Texas and was so impressed with this place. Incredible assortment of sausage, snacks, meat and cheese.. need you to set up an operation in Fort Worth Texas..we have nothing like this here and are in need of a business like this with surplus of product available

Excellent small town meat market. Deer processing is 95.00 but you get good cuts, vacuum packed and chilled to froze for easy transport in boxes. Wide assortment of meats to choose from and meat packages for bulk shoppers. They accept wic also.

Extremely excited to cook the smoked Turkey we got for Thanksgiving day, plus stocked up on steaks, hotdogs, brats and cheese. They had everything we wanted and always the nicest and most helpful staff.

My husband ordered a standing Prime Rib 4 days before Christmas Eve. They called us on Thursday and said they were out! This was more than disturbing as we were charge of the meat for Christmas Day for a large family. Customer Service terrible. Their method and procedure for special orders I'm sure has not changed. We did however get the best Prime Rib ever from Northside Market and it was cheaper due to the butchers' wonderful customer service! We will no longer purchase from sanders.

Everytime I go there I spend money. Lots of choices in pork products, chicken and beef. Lots of summer sausage, sticks, jerky. Cheese, hot dogs are great in flavor. They give samples and the staff are great.
