When you think of a small town bait shop, this is it. They had some good info and very reasonable prices on bait. The only shop that I know of in the area and its nice that they don't price gouge. My only complaint is I walked in with an Ohio State t-shirt on and I got razzed for that, well deserved. Keep up the good work Mick's!

We love heading to Mick’s bait shop when we visit Curtis! Not only do we get great service from extremely knowledgeable folks, but we also get to enjoy witty, well humored banter with the owner and staff.Mick’s is always well stocked - It’s likely that if they don’t have it, you don’t need it!This stop is well worth your time if you’re headed out to one of the lakes to throw a line in!!

Stopped in here about a week back (not from the area) and looking to jump on the ice for some fishing. We had a hard time finding places to park as nothing was plowed so we stopped in to ask this man for help. I didn't catch his name but was very informative about the lakes, fishing, what's biting and even told us a place we could park! Very helpful, informative, and friendly.

Went to get some information on the local lakes and was met with sarcasm and a rude attitude . When you go to a new area to fish, a good friendly informative bait shop owner is a must, this shop has a lot to be desired. I owned a bait shop for 30years and tried my best to help put people on fish, if they are catching, then I was selling bait. The customer doesn't need some "Smart mouth" try to think they know than you do. I've probably thrown more keeper sized fish back than the woman in this shop has ever seen?? And by the way, their prices aren't worth going out of your way for either, higher than any other place in the area. In my area she wouldn't last 30 days little lone 30 Years as I have.

Mick and her husband go out of their way to help you and get you the right bait and tackle you need for whatever type of fishing you are doing. They are so incredibly friendly and have a wealth of knowledge of the area. If your ever in Curtis you need to stop by and visit this quaint little bait shop that has so much to offer. ♥️
