We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here! Dorris is one of the most hospitable and kind people we have ever met. She will make sure you have everything you could possibly need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We loved the fire pit out back (Dorris even showed us how to properly make a fire!) and the overall relaxed vibe of the place. We were able to really enjoy the scenery and the outdoors, and had a nice and cozy room and fire to come back to. Thank you so much for making this part of our vacation so special and memorable. We will definitely be back next year!Nearby activities: A lot of hiking/outdoor recreation within driving distance!

Small!! but it’s very clean; has AC, NEW heat, fridge, microwave, with cable TV. What more does one need? I’m here on a four day, three night bird hunt; the only thing I needed was a little more space to hang clothes to dry. But we made it work! Now let’s talk about the host….. by far the nicest people in this town. Always asking what you need every time they see you. Trust me they deliver on those request. Let’s review the check in: After a very “stern” warning I was allowed to check in one hour and ten minutes early lol. So with that, this next statement will ring true; they treats you like family. (The good family, not the bad ones) Coffee and breakfast treats are supplied around 7am. Don’t forget the gift shop. More children sizes to come soon. If you’re here for work, hunting or just passing through, this is a great, clean place to relax for a night or week. I know I’ll be back next fall.

Called on Monday to reserve a room for Thursday. Gave all of my information and credit card numbers to hold the room. Lady was friendly on the phone. She explained cancellation policy very clearly stating that “as long as you call ahead, you can cancel the room for no charge. If you just don’t show up, I will charge your card.” Everything sounded great. I showed up Thursday evening to check-in and office door was locked so I called the number left on the door. Same lady answered the phone and said she had no record of me and no rooms available (despite VACANCY sign on as well). Not impressed with the management to say the least.

I stayed two nights at the BF Hideaway and am extremely pleased that the google reviews I had read prior proved correct. My room was super clean and very quiet for sleeping. And I'm a light sleeper.The location is fantastic, and the "make-you-feel-at-home" atmosphere (free coffee in the morning, a gazebo and sitting area for relaxation and a huge firepit for imbibing in an adult beverage while staring at the fire) was greatly appreciated.I can't say enough about the host, Doris. She is very personable, takes great pride in the way she runs and maintains the Hideaway, and, best of all, has a great sense of humor.I wholeheartedly recommend the Bigfoot Hideaway as a great place to stay, and the price point is right on. Five stars all the way around, folks.Pics included.Thanks again Doris!Nearby activities: Lots to do in Crystal Falls and Iron County. Everything from golf, to hiking to antiquing.

We were in town for a few days of ice fishing, we came across the Bigfoot hideaway motel to stay for a night! After staying one night we immediately decided to stay another night. Very cleanly and comfortable. For ice fisherman very convenient to offload gear right into the room. Coffee and conversation in the morning is top notch! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Very welcoming. Very clean. Spectacular customer service!We slid off the road and got stuck in the snow. Doris actually brought her truck and a tow rope to get us out. She is awesome! I mean, how many people would do that for someone staying at their motel. I'm guessing not many.Will definitely stay again while visiting the area.

This little motel was the best! Small rooms, but very cozy and comfortable. Affordable rates, Everything very clean and refreshing, fresh hot coffee. The owners were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. Doris is the sweetest lady, so kind! We are very pleased with our stay and will be happy to stay here again in the future. Thank you Bigfoot Hideaway for a great night's rest and a pleasant stay.

Being a typical snowmobiler and snow chaser... we found this place one day before the trip. The lady took our reservation late one evening and the rate was very affordable. The room had enough space for two people with all their gear. The space had a heater that is adjustable and will dry out wet clothes. The place is right across the street from the gas station and connects to the main trail. The couple that manages the property are very friendly and even made me muffins one morning. They are very accommodating to each guest that stays. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable place to stay.

Owners were absolutely wonderful. We stayed three days and loved it. The mattresses were very comfortable, the towels were plush. There was fresh coffee in the morning and the homemade breakfast treats were a fabulous surprise for my kids.Very clean rooms, friendly owners who even recommended local events and sites to see.We will be back.

Cleanest room I've here seen with a hotel in a long time the cleanliness is at a level where I don't have to make a makeshift toilet paper seat when I do my business. That's saying something because I'm a germ freak. Super kind lady checked me In at 5am for free when check in is technicaI.. the owner cleans cuts the grass makes the coffee and does it all. I give this place 10 /10 for comfort,affordability, and customer service !!!

I stayed here one night while passing through town. The room is small, but clean and comfortable. There is a sweet wall heater to help make it toasty. The owner, Dorris, was great! She told me at check-in that they offer breakfast pastries and coffee in the morning. I slept in late and she had to leave, but she left me a tupperware with two peach danishes. It was so thoughtful. I will definitely stop here next time I'm in the area.

Nice, low key. A pleasant experience. Owner is courteous, pleasant, and took a reservation call late into rhe evening. Not overpriced,, like some of the other places. Room not huge but cozy. Mattress is firm, feels like memory foam, large soft bath towels. Small square shower stall but adequate. Cable TV. For winter, heat is more than adequate from a wall mounted gas ventless flame-behind-glass heater, which adds to the cozy experience. Doing a good job providing clean, comfortable, reasonably priced lodging during this pandemic.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hostess was quite friendly and welcoming. She really made me feel like she was happy I was there. A fridge in the room and fresh muffins in the morning were a pleasant surprise. The price was good, too.

With the masterpiece being the court house. As well many great places to eat.

We stopped here for a rest day on our cross country bicycle tour, a nice place to wait out the rain. Doris the manager made sure we were taken care of, and we were able to walk to the grocery and a few restaurants. Great bed and linens !

Another great weekend at the Bigfoot Hideaway Motel. We have stayed there a number of times and have enjoyed our stay each and every time. The staff makes you feel like family, the rooms are clean, and you can't beat the price. We will be back.
