They carry my Mazuri rat blocks that I've been looking for for over 6 months. Tried having other stores special order it and couldn't. I'm so happy that my rats are back to eating something healthy. Thanks farmer jahn!

Great store. Have a pair of guinea pigs and always need to get hay or treats for them. I was a little put off by the new sign by the cages. Went in with my cousins. My one cousin (18 years old) asked if she could pick up one of the pets to hold it. The girls at the counter said yes. I was watching my 6 year old cousin and told him he was not allowed to hold any. Of course the kid puts his finger in the cage and the big rat bit his finger. Lots of blood, but small cut. If he is silly enough to put his fingers in the cage, Farmer Jahn's obviously isn't to blame. But their sign the next day was posted that said not to pick up animals and whatnot, which I am assuming is because of the incident. I don't think the girls realized he never picked up a pet. Their sign should have said no fingers in cages or picking up pets. It's pretty easy for a kid to put their finger in the cage. My cousin wasn't harrassing the rat. Just put his finger in there and bet the rat thought it was food.

Lots of feed and supplies. Also a small area for pets for sale - bunnies, fish, hamsters, gerbils and the like I go in for cuddle therapy and walk away happy!
