Beautiful little shop with lots of souvenirs and nice quality clothing. They have Copper Harbor sweatshirts and t-shirts, decorations, toys, drinking glasses, etc. Very small, so we had to wait outside because of Corona virus restrictions, but I would say it was worth the wait. The lady working was really nice.

The Laughing Loon is a really cute little shop and the owner, Hannah is really nice! She has some great suggestions for fun things to do in Copper Harbor. I definitely love shops like this that have local jewelry and you can also find clothing and other cute gifts here.

Excellent shop with the cutest attire and gifts!! If you need a good t-shirt or hoodie, this is the place to go. Had so many cool pieces of local art as well, highly recommend.

We hit up all the shops in Copper Harbor but this was our favorite. Nice selection of apparel and they were helpful on finding sizes that were in the back. Good selection of kids items too - toys, stuffed animals, books, etc..

Cute little shop with some unique gifts, clothes, books and artwork. Very nice staff. Be prepared to wait a minute so that a limited number of folks can be in the shop at one time for the safety of all. Well worth the wait to look around!!

Very friendly & helpful staff! Has every little nick-nacks from clothes, jewelry, books, photos, etc. The only downside of this lovely place is how small it is 😅 & it can get crowded quick. Other than that, this place is a must go!

We went to Copper Harbor during Sept 2020 to “get away” from the virus because Keweenaw Peninsula was very low incident and everyone taking it seriously. We practiced our safety precautions and were so happy to find the shops and restaurants being so careful.The Laughing Loon was no exception. We were warmly greeted upon entering and also asked to use the hand sanitizer at the door. GLADLY!We’re so glad we found this little gem. We bought a wonderfully soft and warm fleece throw with black bears, autumn leaves, fir trees and snowflakes on it. I love it because it’s larger than most throws, I can cover neck to toes! Also purchased yooper loop stones (look up these very cool stones), pine incense, pine scented soap, and our postcards. We very much enjoyed wandering through so many unique items. On the porch they have the coolest, themed-art yard poles for sale. Wish I had given into my impulses and bought one.A must stop when in or near Copper Harbor!

This is s delightful gift shop with a very pleasant, informative and knowledgeable proprietor. She was very helpful in suggesting a drive to get a tremendous view of Copper Harbor. The merchandise is very interesting and fun to look at. Couldn't resist purchasing a few items.

This place is a wonderful quaint gift shop at the tip of the Keweenaw. Full of everything from bumper stickers to handcrafted goods, clothing, and historical books. I forgot a metal bracket for a decorative post and the owner's daughter tracked me down on Facebook to go way out of her way and mail it to me back in Detroit. She must have recalled my liking of the bumper stickers I bought because she sent a couple others as well. It's so rare in today's world to get such personal customer service!

I live at the OPPOSITE end of our great State of Michigan, in Battle Creek. My wife and my 7th anniversary is approaching, and since the 7th is a 'copper' anniversary, thought I'd locate something from Copper Harbor. Upon searching and looking around the 'net,' I found Laughing Loon Gifts. I called and left a message for someone to return my call; within a couple of short days, Hannah (a pleasant, helpful soul) helped me find the perfect gift for the wife. It was so effortless and Hannah, as I'm sure the rest of the staff is, was profoundly nice & patient, helping me through the whole process. I rec'd what I ordered, just today, and am very pleased and satisfied! I recommend anyone to the Laughing Loon, whether in-person, which we plan on doing soon, or over the phone; it was a perfect experience. There was no one in the store yesterday when my husband and I walked in. We are both exempt from the absurd mask faux mandate. The employee, the only person in the store would not let us in. Fine, we went and spent $400 in another shop that doesn’t force this dangerous and ridiculous issue! Guess that little little business didn’t need the money. We won’t go back either
