Super clean and quiet. Son was visiting so decided to drive up to Copper Harbor. No AC but you don't need it and it's nice to not hear it. There is a fan in the room and dark curtains should you want to sleep in. It was pretty hot out but as soon as we walked in, nice and cool! There is what is like a covered front porch that leads to the rooms with the coffee/gift shop in the center. Coffee at 8am and it is very good! Definitely within walking distance to town. Owners on-site and just lovely people. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a coffee shop before heading out of town and saw the sign from the road. I was not sure what to expect but decided to give it a try. When I entered I was met by Karin. She and I had some good conversation. One thing we both agreed on was was good coffee. This is what I love about small towns the people. Look for some bourbon barrel maple syrup heading your way. 😊

Been years since I’ve been up to copper Harbor, since i became disabled, but I’ve stayed there several times and the place is lovely and staff is very helpful and kind! The coffee shop, this A hole that left 1 star, the star buck queen, needs to head back to where flat landers hang out and stay in the city! The coffee was great, and I had a caffeine buzz by noon from the chocolate covered coffee beans lol I was hiking and eating those things I was so jacked up 🤣. When I have surgery and get able my first road trip up to kewanaw, will be stopping by to Brockway Inn!

I didn't actually stay here, but was tricked into stopping by the quaint "gourmet coffee" sign. Walked in and stood for several minutes while the attendant finished straightening up behind the counter. Not really any options other than just brewed coffee...I've had better coffee selection at a church potluck back home. Saw the special, "Naughty Bear", so we gave that a whirl. Lukewarm. Terrible. Do not recommend. 1/5 🌟

There were limited choices of places to stay in Copper Harbor. This place served its purpose. The owners do a good job of being hospitable. I can’t compare because I haven’t stayed anywhere else here. If you are expecting modern amenities look elsewhere, but there was a fridge for everyone to share in the hallway, rooms were warm and we had a fan to move the air. Shower was warm, water pressure was weak but not intolerable. They have whirlpool tub which is a nice thing. They bring coffee at 8 am and put it by the fridge. Coffee was pretty good. Beds aren’t very comfortable, but better than if you were roughing it 😀. Funny smell in the room, which is typical of older motels. Quiet place to stay not far from town.

My wife and I stayed here a couple nights during our visit to the Copper Harbor area. After reading reviews, we were expecting much less from this place, but were pleasantly surprised! We were very pleased with the rooms, service, and friendliness of the owners. The coffee shop and dining advice from the owners were also great pluses. The features in these rooms were more than enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Karen, the owner, couldn't be nicer! But, the bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows (only 2 on the bed) were exceptionally flat! Remember to bring your own! Karen brews fresh coffee every morning at 8 (wish it was earlier) for the guests, which is awesome! For an older motel in the very north of Michigan, it's very quaint. We've stayed 2 summers in a row.

Booked 2 rooms for an event, one for 2 nights, one for 1 night. But upon our arrival, they had given away one of the rooms, probably so they could rent it out to someone for 2 nights instead of 1, but their dishonesty and attitude about it was really offensive. They insisted someone called and cancelled it, despite the fact that that 100% did not happen. I was the only one who knew where we were staying, and I 100% needed the rooms for my sled dog handlers.I said that didn't happen, and the owner actually said he "very specifically remembered" the call, but then couldn't tell me the gender of the caller or when this supposed call supposedly happened.Super distasteful experience. Will not repeat. Will not recommend.

Rooms were very clean for being a old motel. But not handicap friendly the owner told us to use the side door it would be easier for me i fell going up the path. but the whole area was that way at least where we went didn't see much of anything since most places were closed then it rained and in the morning while leaving a tree was a crossed the highways 26 going south no phone service so we had to figure out on how to get this tree out of the way. as beautiful as the seenery was we will not be returning to cooper harbor or eagle harbor Gordon Ramsay had to have speacial treament when he was there thank Gordon Ramsay for the bad trip we had but the motel owner was great

Yeah...it is an OK motel. Cheaper rates than most around CH but you don't get a lake view. The rooms/building is a little run down. Water damage on the floor when you enter the motel. The single bed was OK and the room in general is small. The bathroom was very clean which is awesome. If you don't plan on spending much time at the hotel it is a decent deal but if you wan to lounge around I would suggest staying somewhere near the lake.A big PLUS is that the Berry Patch ice cream shop is right next door.Another plus is that there is free coffee in the attached coffee shop for guests. Some good coffee being brewed!

It's quaint, clean and dated. Bathroom is pretty funky with giant two person jetted tub which made for an interesting shower experience. I don't imagine it's very different from most of the other motels up here.

Need to set your expectations: it's a 2 star motel. That being said, we would stay here again! Pros: quiet (other side of US 41), very clean, hot water and wifi. Cons: No A/C (has fan and usually cool outside), bed ok, older TV without HDMI and no shampoo. Community refrigerator and microwave available and hot coffee in morning. With Covid-19 no room services but if you leave towels or garbage outside room, they will replace.

The Inn was a lovely place to shelter from the rain in for a bit during a storm in the morning. The coffee was delicious and the service was very friendly. I would love to stay here next time I visit the peninsula!

We love copper harbor We started our travels up here back when Lloyd &Clyde had brockway motel. Than Karen took over can’t recomend it enough. Our greatest memories were from brockway. My wife and I sitting out front cooking steaks on the grill, with Karen so much fun. We had Harley’s back than. A huge black bear walked right by the bikes , we took a pic. It was as big as the bike . It walked right up to the thistle Karen had just put in the bird feeder swiped it down . And ate every seed. Steaks were only 10 foot away on the grill . Karen Toni and I will be up August 26th will stop be to see you Your doing a great job Where’s the pic of the bear holding an ice cream cone Dave&Toni Garrett from Kalamazoo mich

A friend and I stayed at the Brockway Inn during our trip to Isle Royale National Park. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was nicely updated, and the price was super affordable. Most importantly, the management is awesome. There was a bit of confusion with our reservation as I was coming in very late. The manager personally made sure everything was straightened out and ensured that our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The welcome we received here makes me want to go back! The Brockway Inn is definitely a great place to stay.

Wifi does not work (and there is no cell service), stains and slugs (yes, slugs) in the hallway, and only one communal fridge/microwave in the freezing cold hallway to use. Recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

The coffee shop is wonderful. Bought some of the Northern Lights beans and it was the best cup of coffee I've made in a long time.
