I've had my cats groomed here twice. Service is outstanding and with reasonable pricing. I have exotic short hairs, and their medium length coat is very thick. When they shed, they SHED. I have them bathed and brushed out, and they come home with a lot less hair! I've used several different groomers in the past, and this is by far the best. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Absolutely love the care and attention the staff gives. I've been bringing my grandma's dog here for awhile now, almost a year? And I've been so satisfied and happy with how they've taken care of him. Absolutely love Chloe, but can't go wrong with any of the staff. And I love that they have the option for color. A little bit of flair is very nice.

Always do such a great job with my two little peanuts. Been here 3-4 times and great experience each time. I have them groomed and nails clipped, always turns out great. Little pricey though. The pups always do so good when they’re there. Takes about 45 min to an hour for them both.

My first time bringing my dog Lucky here & I’m amazed! Kailey Is the best, she got Lucky to calm down & was able to groom him. He’s an anxious reactive dog so I was really worried but everyone was so kind & understanding. I will definitely be prebooking all my appointments from now on! So glad I found Kailey!

My Aussie is an absolute freak about getting his nails cut/filed. They are so patient with him and always manage to get it done with out stressing him out. They do a beautiful job when they groom him as well! They are well priced and worth every penny. So happy to have found them!

I have two Persian cats that can get a little unmanageable (especially in the winter). I used to take them to the Standale location, which was good, but very loud as it doubles as a boarding site for dogs. I find the Alpine location is better suited for cats since it is smaller and generally much quieter. Also Kalie, the cat groomer, is so nice and always does a good job of what I ask on both of my fiesty little ladies. I wish their prices were a bit lower just because it can get expensive to groom them both, but this is a service worth getting done and I understand the cost and time that goes into it.

WOW. Kenzi did a great job on my white German Shepherd!! He came home so shiny and white, smelled good and the amount of hair she was able to get off him...amazing! A week later he still looks great and barely shedding and he sheds ALOT. Totally surprised by the price too (especially for everything she did), it was almost half of what I've paid at other groomers. THANK YOU KENZI!!

Sarah makes Rosie feel so calm and took care of her nails/groomed her with a precise and gentle touch! I would not trust anyone else to take care of my little fur baby! Go to professional dog groomers like Tiffany's Pet Spot Comstock Pk. not the Supercuts/Borics of groomers like this place. When a groomer acts like they really don't want to be there and inform me they are heavily booked you will not touch or handle my dog. For $100.00 I can do better. I came to Wags and Washes because they were very close to my home. It's back to Tiffany's Pet Spot for me with groomers who are mature enough to handle anything without the attitude. This place is a joke.

We normally bring our mini schnauzer to their Standale location and they are fantastic there. The new Alpine one is closer to home for us, so I was excited to try there. I liked that it was smaller and seemed to have less dogs at a time. I explained what I wanted her hair to be cut like. Both the groomer and the front desk girls seemed to understand what I was asking of them. I did note that our dog was a rescue and may provide difficulty as she is scared but not a biter- I suggested that they call if they ran into any problems. No call. My husband picked her and she looked almost the same as when I dropped her off. He asked if that is what I asked for, as he was surprised. One of the girls had said that I hadn't been clear on what I wanted so this is what we she thought I meant. Her face and nails were cut, but her beard and eyebrows were both very crooked. I had to cut 2 very long pieces off her eyebrows. Her body was cut but was still extremely fluffy, which is not what I had asked for. I asked to cut her down pretty short on her body, no skirt and leave her legs a bit longer at the joint. They of course the normal face cut for a schnauzer. She was cut all the same length all over her body. I called after they closed when I returned from work and saw her. I did receive a call back, due to being at work I called back later and someone different then the receptionist answered. She was extremely rude and said that I wasn't clear on what I wanted and It was not her fault that I didn't communicate well with them. I asked why no one called me if they weren't sure and she stated that wasn't her job. I was very disappointed and sad with our experience and will be going back to Standale.

My cat freaks out at most groomers/vets I take her to. This is the first time she was actually happy after I picked her up! Will be back, really nice people with hearts for pets and their owners. Also, this is the cutest location!

Took my two dogs here once and asked for a bath for both with a boarding for two days and two months later took the one back being not much bigger I boarded the dog and asked for a bath came out to 112 dollars because they don’t do just baths anymore or we go by size. Well which one is it? I could have been explained this when I dropped him off that the bath was gonna cost fifty dollars. I was irate to say the least! I put farther up in this paragraph that they gave the two dogs baths for fifteen dollars a piece and my dog is not full grown at 7 months old, thank you.

My best Friend Lenny looked amazing after going here, he was happy to see me, but I think he would have been fine moving into the shop he loved all the workers there. They get back to you right away and show that they really love your dog
