Everyone here was very helpful, respectful. Very clean place. Great selection of puppies. Was a little pricey and some extra cost not included in adoption fee. However my puppy was and still is in excellent health.. for us it was love at first sight. We had 3 puppies picked out to play with. Once we met Raphael we knew he was our perfect match.

This place is amazing! I didn’t even know it existed. If it wasn’t for Google, I was able to come in and meet a few puppies before I picked the perfect one for our family. I totally have to give a five star rating to the associate that help me with everything and made it is easy and painless as possible. Aubri went above and beyond to walk me through the whole process, and she even talked me in to purchasing some of the great deals that they had in the store today. Never again will we go to another kennel to find an addition to our family. The Barking boutique will continuously have our business from this day forward. Thank you so much to Aubri and the Barking Boutique staff. And to the new addition to our family Kyra, I can’t wait to take you home and surprised everyone lol

Don't let the sign "free puppy cuddles" lure you in there.This place is a joke. They act like the puppies are brand new Corvettes and you can't even stick your hand close to the puppies. While they are SCREAMING for attention and trying to idk...BE A PUPPY.When you ask for a price, there is no solid prices they just make on up. Probably depending on what you're wearing tbh.One puppy that they grabbed was put in this sad tiny boring room to play with us, it had a sore on its leg. Didn't look good, my friend was about to buy the pup, instantly fell in love. Cuz it's cute!! I advised not too, I pointed out the sore and said she'd probably be bringing it to the vet multiple times. You have to be prepared to train the puppy from day one. It knows nothing. It's just born, ripped away from Mama as soon as they can, thrown into a pretty glass box to be looked at like they're in a museum then brought home to either die from an illness they got from the store or a genetic illness as a result of inter-breeding.Still want that perfect cute little Pomsky??That'll be only $4,000 with a side of vet bills and guilt.That Pomsky's mom is trapped in a dirty cramped dirty cage pregnant again for the 6th time in 4 years or less.I understand that some need a companion that won't flare up allergies. Or maybe just really want a puppy? Well look elsewhere. Many rescues have puppies that are result of irresposible breeders or irresponsible owners. Do some more research. Please don't take part in this disaster 🙏- proud rescue mama+ I only paid $200 for him and he's the most handsome well behaved angel. Anyone who meets him says that... And he was an hour away from being euthanized in a Texas kill shelter before a lovely local rescue drove down to save him 💔Think twice before going here for a date night idea, go walk an unloved dog at the humane society 🏼

Adopt from a shelter or rescue. You want a puppy, they have puppies at shelters and rescues with all their shots and vet care all ready taken care of for you, and it's cheap compared to purchasing a dog from here.

This is what keeps puppy mills going!!! Stat away from this place. Their “$1500” package deal is a joke. You pay $3000 and can’t even have breading rights. Not that we were going to bread but for that price the puppy should already be potted trailed 100%. The dogs don’t have water. The owner is a joke and literally just only cares about profits. Dogs had earmites horribly! Do not support them!

The place was fine and all, it took about 4 hours to bring home my harlee,they said"it's like buying a car" I was sold a "Pomeranian" she is in fact a long haired Chihuahua, now she's 8 months old there not honest at all my totally was 3500 after they said 2500

I was planning on coming in to see the puppies. But now after I’ve read the reviews, very disappointed with what I read. I wanted to pet a cane corso pup, and one of the staff member said NO!!! As I were committing a crime. The dog was sick and in quarantine. I understand but the way she came off with her mouth was uncalled for. I feel so sorry for the puppies I can only imagine how they are treated at all the puppy mills.

There is a reason they do not post where the pups are sourced from on the website. They claim they do not support puppy mills but that is a lie. They may not buy directly from puppy mills(but they probably do), but their brokers definitely do! A few of their dogs come from puppy mills featured on the Humane Society’s “Horrible Hundred” list of the worst puppy mills in the United States. I’m surprised this place is still open. Oh, they also own Paws and Unwind pet resort and they allegedly house sickly pups and puppies who don’t sell there! So if you’ve ever used Paws and Unwind pet resort and your dog came home ill, thank David Boelkes.

At this time in America it blows my mind that establishments like this still exist. I have one dog I adopted and one who was purchased for me from a breeder and the conditions are absolutely night and day.It leaves you questioning the morals behind the team (especially the owner). I have seen better and more attentive care from kill shelters.....

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM HERE! I got a husky pup from them and come to find out he has Giardia. We have been fighting off this Giardia for 3 months, we were told the day we got him that his fecal sample came back clear (when clearly it wasn’t bc his stool was runny which is the #1 symptom of Giardia) and then we took him to the vet within there 5 day required time and he had Giardia. My vet told me that 75% of the puppies they see from Barking Boutique have Giardia and an ear infection. So they are in it for the money, you pay $3,000 for the dog then have to put over $1,000 into vet bills. It’s ridiculous. Definitely do not recommend it.

Visited this place to see for myself if all the rumors are true. Spoiler alert: they are.2-3 dogs per 3x3ft square box. Smelled like urine and could see the dogs haven’t been well taken care of (urine stained fur). Don’t purchase from this place.Don’t let the “free puppy cuddles” lure you in either. They won’t let you touch the dogs unless you bring a singular dog into what they call a “puppy playground,” which is about the size of a small dressing room.And yes. It’s a puppy mill.

The 28th Street location staff was not very knowledgeable and lied about where the puppies came from. Prices are out of control. While we were there it appeared as if one of the puppies was sick, yet nobody tended to him. These are puppy mill dogs!!! We all know what happens to the mama’s giving birth to these puppies. Please, please do NOT buy from them!!! Puppy mills are horrendous and basically run like a factory with no concern or care for mama’s or puppies.

DO NOT BUY DOGS FROM HERE! Looked at puppies with my daughter. They showed me the records of their breeder. When looking up the breeder there is NOTHING. I found the LLC of the breeder and found their names. When looking up the breeder they are listed under MO worst puppy mills! They own 159 dogs that they breed and over 90 puppies.

Buyer beware. Arrived to look at a puppy that was advertised as being 12 weeks old, found out she was 8 weeks. The lady rushed through vet and breeder paperwork, and didn’t care to slow down and explain. When I asked questions she gave me unknowledgeable answers. When I asked if I could have a copy of the vet/breeder information I was told no. When they’re asking 4,000 for a puppy I would expect to be able to call the breeder on the spot and asked questions. Later research found the breeder was unlicensed, and has 30+ breeding adults and sells them to pet stores across the country. PUPPY MILL dogs.

Wouldn't even give me a price over the phone, told me she could give an estimation, anywhere from 2 grand to 7 grand. I'm not about to drive 4 hours away to look at a puppy to find out it's a much as a new car. Ridiculous. Happen to look at the reviews after I called, glad it did not work out.

I have to make a wrong right the puppy I bought on November 6 at Kentwood was a healthy little guy but he just wouldn't eat and I got scared so back to the vet we went did follow the advice changed his food again he got sick back to the vet not much help next amergency hospital next specialist hospital well we think he has a kidney shan't but we are not sure or we think something is wrong with his brain but we are not sure the local vet first job less than a month insured my puppy had a kidney shan't gave me 4 meds I stopped giving to him he was prottet and poked he was in such misery I had to put him down December 30. This is the 2nd puppy I have adopted from Barking Boutique. The first puppy was from the Grandville location, and I can not say enough good things about both locations! Both my pups were in perfect health when I bought them and have been ever since. They are both happy and never seemed unhappy when I went to meet them or when I brought them home. They were taken care of very well and loved by the staff members so much that I drop by to let them see my pups as they grow often. I love that they do all the hard work of picking them up from breeder, caring for them, microchipping them, vaccinating them, and registering them with the AKC for me (which explains the slight markup that a lot of people complain about but do not realizing the time and work Barking Boutique puts into preparing the pups for a new home and owner) I appreciate them so much and will always refer anyone I know to them. Thank you Barking Boutique!

You people’s prices are insane for these pups..4,000 for a golden retriever? You’re out of your minds. I can find pure bred AKC goldens for a grand to 1,500..also, I brought it up to one of your employees and they gave an attitude instead of explaining why they are so much more money. You just lost a customer. Good job. No wonder you were so dead business wise on a week day. Learn how to run a business next time.

Bought my puppy from there, spent over $300+ on vet visits because of bloody diarrhea, vomiting, goopy eyes, allergies, etc. the list goes on! Customer service sucks, and they don’t care about helping you. I wish I looked at the reviews before making a purchase on a sick puppy.
