Very disappointed by the customer service of one store manager (Jordan, I believe was his name). I went in to get 28 of the "Select" 2x2-8' Pine boards, described as, "the best choice when the ultimate in fine appearance is required." I checked the inventory online and there were supposed to be over 40, I knew there would be some crooked and twisted boards to sort through but was only able to gather 18 of acceptable quality (and this was with me being more lenient than normal regarding the quality of my selection).So, I considered finishing the job with 6' boards just so I wouldn't need to make an additional trip in a few weeks, costing me time. While this would work, it wasn't ideal as it would cost more, this compromise would incur additional waste. So I explained this and explained that their inventory was not reflective of what was on the shelf and asked if there was anything that could be done on the pricing and was told, "I have no reason to do that," without anything at all resembling an apology for the inconvenience. So because this store can't handle the task of inventorying and culling materials no reasonable consumer would accept, it's gonna cost you, if not money, then it'll cost you time.And look, I'm not mad I didn't get a discount, I'm not owed that (woulda be nice though), I'm disappointed that my concerns were entirely dismissed while it would have SO easy to just humor me, look up the cost and say, "Ahh, sorry, looks like our margins are too thin. There's nothing I can do."

My favorite store, i could buy something down each aisle if I was allowed too. Very pleased with options. The only thing im disappointed about is that they do not have riding lawnmowers, for a big box store I do find thus beyond odd and a turn-off when it comes to outdoor yard tools.

Went to purchase a Home line Outdoor 200 amp panel. Was not in the system. I was offered to pay a higher price for the product than what it was worth after waiting in line for 15 minutes. My time was wasted and no one cared about a product that should have been sold at a better price. I went to Home Depot and saved $30.00 and purchased a similar product. The manager at Menards, Nick, was unable to compromise even after my time being wasted. The cashier was complaining about wanting to go home to me and how she was mistreated there. Hey Nick, next rume, do the right thing. You were able to. See the big picture.

Placed an online order for fence materials and after renting a trailer to go pick it up they told me some of my order was out of stock and wouldn't be available for 3 weeks. No mention of this in my order confirmation.

They offer a wide variety of goods. They have a key maker in this location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice to and patio section. They have kayaks and pools available.Update (9/10/22): They have trucks and tractors for $2.99 each.

They stand behind their hand tools. My pop rivet gun lost a screw in the ground cover. Could not find the screw.Even though I did not have my receipt Menards exchanged my pop rivet tool for a new one.

I’ve been shopping around for flooring for a little bit and I would have to say Nick is among one of the best flooring specialist. He was very courteous and helped me get flooring items in my cart. Menards has a keeper.

We were there to get interior doors today, door knobs etc. We got to the check out and it rang up almost $200 more than what we had priced everything. My husband asked about it and the girl acted like she didnt really believe us. The doors were supposed to be $94 each they were primed not painted. They were charging us around $130 each. We were like thats not right. The guy comes over and acts like the girl did. Then he calls back acting like it was so much to deal with. And the guy in the back calls up and he said $94 each..they didnt say sorry about that, or glad you caught that etc. So, yeah pretty disappointed today. Feel sorry for the patrons that just scan and go and dont watch the prices. Thats a hefty hit.

Their website says they have Panasonic AA alkaline batteries 8 pack. Asked a front desk worker & he couldn't find them in store. The website says there are 14 in store. So I emailed Menards & an Angela Swenson employee says they're in front aisle when you first walk in. I told her those are AAA. She never replied back.

On June 3 I placed an on line order for pick up. I received an email within minutes that it was ready and arrived at the store over an hour later. When the employee at the counter looked up my order he told me that it was marked that I would get it myself from the store. REALLY?!?!?! I told him that the purpose of placing a pick up order is to PICK IT UP. Otherwise I am shopping which is the opposite of ordering for pick up. He was very polite and went into the store to get my item but I had to wait over 20 minutes for him to return with it. Seriously?!?!?! The employee was very kind but this defeated the whole purpose of placing the order for pick up. Incredibly disappointed in Menards and will likely shop at competitors as they understand how PICK UP works.

THANK YOU LAYNE IN THE PAINT AREA!!! WOW does that kid know his stuff! Had to gather some items to build my very first climbing area for our bearded dragon. He helped me gather everything QUICKLY!!!!. He was also a walking encyclopedia when it came to the products they offer and comparable items. He is my new go to guy!

I had a really bad experience. Today I walked to the store and I want to purchase a pool and I asked if there is someone can help to make sure from the prices and holding it for me but every time I ask the cashier and manager "please I need somebody to help me in pools depot" they keep saying I will send someone but Nothing. I waited about 20 min and I asked them 4 times to send a helper and then I just walked out and I told the same cashier that is it I don’t need anything and I’m not gonna wait anymore. He told ok sorry.Don’t recommend this store anymore. Also people NOT willing to help anymore. What a world we’re living.

We made an order online to be delivered by the Comstock Park Menards. The order went through, we paid it and picked a day based on the calendar THEY provided to us online for it to be delivered. Then promptly got a text stating the delivery would be 1 week longer than the date we picked. So we called the store and was basically told, sorry about your luck, nothing we can do to help you. So they caused the problem but offer NO solution other than go someplace else......so we went someplace else and won't EVER come back!!

Most employees were friendly but not helpful. You want cinder blocks have fun looking for the correct ones they're all mixed together. Bring your muscle, employees didn't help putting blocks on the cart. Cashier tried to charge me 4 times the amount. The manager came over about something unrelated but corrected her error, she was not happy. Don't be mad at me, do your job right and don't get snotty with customers, because that's more than likely why the manager came over. Otherwise the store was clean and well stocked.

The most unprofessional and rude management. They enjoyed saying my botched delivery had nothing to do w them. They sub their deliveries to the cheapest drivers and that is reflected in their lack of ability to deliver anything in a professional manner. So if you go there make sure you haul your supplies if you want your items to arrive undamaged as well as your dwelling.

This is a nice Menards location with friendly staff, lots of inventory, and a clean facility. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their online order pickup needs quite a bit of work. It's in the very back corner of the store with no signage at all inside that directs you to it. The emailed receipt could've easily instructed me to drive to the back, but it didn't give any details and it was a confusing experience overall.

3/17/2024 Menards,in your Kitchen & Cabinets Department...Do You Really Realize what an Incredible Employee you have working for you in the Cabinets & Kitchens! Brad Bulmer was Fantastic designing our kitchen from a couple pieces of scrap paper we brought in! He is a master at his craft! I hope he is paid well for the knowledge he shares!! He took us from a scrap of paper & a vague idea in our heads to a formal plan on paper! He formalized our vague ideas into a whole new kitchen layout, with new cupboards, sinks countertops, pantries, an island & a floating shelving unit! We now have our style, cupboard colors, sink colors, and even our quartz countertop colors picked out! WOW!! He was amazing! He was willing to take his time with us. He was professional, knowledgeable about all the products he was selling, & not pushy at all! He is absolutely a 5 Star Employee to Work with! We look forward to working with Brad on the rest of the project to it's completion! Menard's, Brad Bulmer was a Fantastic Hire on Your Part!!Sincerely,The WurmsKammie in Building Material Department solved all of our really hard remodeling problems, not only once but twice! She came up with some unconventional designs no one else thought of! She checked on us several times through out our visit! What Fantastic Customer Service! Never would have gotten our project off the ground without her!

I Had an Uncomfortable exchange with the Garden workers at this Menards. I felt like I was interrupting a private conversation the look she gave me. And the short answer I got from her wasn’t helpful either. However, I had no issues with interactions with the other departments. They were either positive or neutral.

Sunday nights are the best nights to go shopping regardless if it is Halloween but still huge selection everything that I wanted from doors or in stock and plentiful. I noticed a couple was asking assistance to somebody that was working in a different department in that person put down their stuff and I overheard her say I can't help you but let me find somebody that can help you.And plus on my $290 purchase I got 11% back so who doesn't like a mail-in 30 bucks coming back your way!!!Is very rare I rate something five stars as you can tell from reading my comments but I believe that they are deserving a four star review from what I seen today.

This place is big, like all "Big Box" stores. One will never know by dropping in an wandering around as to what can actually be found in the store. I had to make a special trip for some base trim board. Actually picked up a couple other items not on the original list too. Good road trip this day 👍👍👍....

We had a $350 rebate, which we redeemed and in addition we spent $400 more. We had $150 delivery fee as part of our total. We decided to cancel the delivery and were told by the GM that because we used a rebate on part of our order, we had to get the fee back as an in store rebate. This is a disgusting business practice and I strongly urge everyone to steer clear of this greedy corporation. The reputation of Menards is already poor, but this is low even for them.
