Went there today(4/21/24) a purchased some stuff and the cashier got really loud and rude with me all because I move the divider to put behind my stuff for the next customer. That was uncalled for no reason at all.. she then tells me I can’t do that because it was separating my items from the person in front of me, but the problem was, he was already paying for his stuff. There should not have been an issue. All I have to say is she’s lucky I didn’t snap off.

They have a good selection of stuff and fresh meats probably not as much as Walmart but it's a lot closer to me and the people are friendly and willing to help unlike Walmart cuz you can't hardly find anyone to help you

Wonderful grocery market with everything we need. Very nice staff too. We moved to Matteson Lake last fall and just discovered this store. We will be doing most of our shopping here now instead of driving to Coldwater.

Got out to my car and realized I had $5.00 tickets and not the type i had asked for went in to return them and clerk was rude and swore at me about having to buy them. So it became my fault that she suggested then sold me the wrong thing. I have never experienced such horrible customer service.

Always polite courteous employees . store is very well kept stocked clean. Average prices. Easy shopping instead of running to big box stores in larger town. The deli has the absolute best fried chicken and tater babies also has homemade salads would recommend for lunch any day of the week

Wonderful except early Sunday morning probably not best time to get meat "specials". Plus it was last day of sale. Any other day I've never had any problem. Butcher is always very helpful anytime. All clerks friendly and helpful. I love this store!

The meat is always high quality and the meat department personnel are top notch. The food in the deli is super tasty. The sales are amazing. The staff is very friendly. I'm very grateful to still have a local grocery store.

Staff are friendly and helpful. They have an in-house meat cutter. It's not a big store, but all items are well stocked & still a good variety of quality products and good variety . They even have nice, fresh flowers. Only thing missing is a bakery

For a small store they carry just about all you need. Meat department has good quilty meat and the sales are great. Service is good its nice to know the people. The store recently had a makeover made it look more modern. I shop there to suport small town stores and their sales and service. Thank you

Better name for it is village mark up. Everything there is way over priced. The staff is not very friendly either. Last week while I was there, an old woman who was working walked up to me. (during the Covid-19 pandemic) She grabbed my shoulder, and told me I need to pull my mask up. It had fallen off my nose as i was looking at groceries. She blatantly broke the social distance order we have in place and physically grabbed me. Of course, she wasn’t even wearing a mask, she had a clear plastic face shield on instead, which is scientifically proven not to protect you from Covid germs. As if the hypocrisy wasn’t bad enough, as i was going through the check out line the man running the cash register had his mask down BELOW his nose, the same thing i did that got me brutally harassed.... I had a hard time falling asleep that night. I will not be going back.

Only grocery store in our small town. At least there are no you scan your own things that put people out of jobs. I'm shopping local when I get a chance. Friendly environment is a must for our little town.

Every time I take a chance on this store, I am sorely disappointed. Their produce is always overpriced and beginning to spoil. To make matters worse, they sell it at a ridiculous price, on “sale.” Last week, nearly every orange was beginning to mold. This evening, they had a sale on bell peppers (2 for $4). Each pepper was mushy and some were beginning to rot. Too bad you cannot leave a zero star review.

Friendly work team with a different variety of foods not found in the larger food chain stores. Prices appear higher although when they have something on sale, it is a VERY GOOD SALE ! The Meat Department is amazing !

Poor service!!! Lines take forever! Bad fruit and veggies! The atm wont give money but still charge you and they wont do anything about it! They are a scam and over priced! They have an amazing santa clause who gave them a great price then only paid him half and lied to him. The manager and assistant manager are worthless and lazy! I will always travel to sturgis to get my household goods! Or spend the extra and go to family dollar( which is cheaper on somethings)
