I was in the area for a weekend getaway. I saw online that Jollay Orchards had apple cider tasting in Grandpa's Cider mill. When we arrived the parking was in the grass. Since it had been raining for a few days it was really muddy and we almost got stuck while trying to leave.Their site is a bit confusing to me. They call the fall season a "Fall Festival" but it's not a festival at all. There's hardly anything to do. And if you want to do anything besides visit the market you have to pay $10 per person for a wristband. There were a lot of cute photo opportunities in the Free section. The market was incredibleSo much to choose from. Apples of course, preserves, jams, jellies, pasta sauces, marinades, salad dressings salsas, pickled veggies, honey, butters, and more. The prices were high but I expect that from an orchard. We also got hot apple cider and half a dozen donuts at checkout. Those donuts were seriously the best ones I've had in my entire life. I'm going to have dreams about those. š I asked the cashier if a wristband was needed to visit Grandpa's Cider Mill to do the taste testing. She told me they don't do that anymore. It took up too much room so now it's just used for apple pressing. That was disappointing since that's why we came. I would have done 3 stars but the market was great and the donuts are amazing.

I had an amazing experience at this apple picking orchard! Not only did they have a fantastic selection of ripe apples, but their customer service went above and beyond. My car got stuck in a muddy parking lot, and they kindly helped me out. The apple cider and pie were absolutely delicious, making it a perfect fall day. I highly recommend this orchard for a memorable apple-picking adventure and their exceptional hospitality.

Great family fall tradition! Apple picking, Hay rides, covered picnic area, very old haunted school house, jams, scoop ice cream, fresh made apple donuts, fresh cider. Pumpkins and cool Gourds. A bit on the expensive side but the traditional wholesome family fun experience is well worth the extra cost.

This orchard has delicious apples and pumpkins. There are so many fun things for your kids to do, from hay rides to a haunted house. Make sure to stop at the store for some cider and other yummy apple products!

Good u pick Apple experience with well stocked market, amazing donuts and cider. But you will pay ten dollars for entry for the other attractions, which are mostly non existent. The ācornfield mazeā is a maze mowed into some high grass or wheat, next to a cornfield. Most of the other kid friendly attractions the website advertised are run down and dated. The fishing pond captivated two of our children for an hour, but most kids tried for a few minutes and got bored. All in all it was fine just not a lot of value for money for the $10 per person admission fee.

It's an okay orchard in Michigan with great playground for kids. Apple trees aren't marked though. This, either you know your apples, or you have no idea what you are picking. Prices weren't not really competitive, considering that you have to walk through the orchard to pick them yourself. The hay ride seemed a bit unsafe with straw cubes placed directly into a flat trailer without rails

BEWARE EXPENSIVE! Their 2021 practice to bill $10/visitor and $30/bag for @ 10 apples makes Jollay Orchard the most expensive UPICK in the Midwest at $4-$5 per apple as normally 2 or more people pick together. Greedy Jollay! Nice place, sweet people, good donuts.... but stop at the ATM before you go!

Lovely people with donuts that have a lovely apple-y tang. The cherry cider was a tart and tasty surprise. Just a perfect memory for transplanted Michiganders coming back for a visit!!

A nice, autumn experience. Skip the little carnival thing and spend your time on the hayride and picking the apples. But time your visit to make sure you get the Honeycrisps while they're around. Stop by the little shop for some apple cider donuts, too!

Not worth the money it costs. All the attractions are run down and falling apart. The only good thing about it is they have good cider and donuts. Huge line to wait in for those. You would think with the money the charge to get in that the play area and petting zoo would be well maintained and actually have more than just a goat and a goose.

I honestly donāt know how this place has such good reviews. Iām a local and have gone here many times growing up and NOTHING has changed since I was a kid. All of their activities for the children and dirty and broken down. The animals they have to look at didnāt have any food available while I was there and the āsheltersā they had to keep out of the sun were barely holding up, so the animals stayed in the barn. Their adventure area has signs and games that you can barely read anymore they are so faded. Both baby swings were broken. The haunted house is so dark in some spots you run into walls, and donāt even get me started on the smell in there. $10/person and the only semi enjoyable thing was the hayride. Which dropped us off for the haunted house but didnāt come back, so we had to walk. Wonāt go back again.

This place is more for young children. It was good for first time visit but I would say more for people with kids ranging from 6 months to maybe 6 yrs old. The have apple picking the pumpkin field very small only few pet's and small play area. Ferris wheel was not running at this time but they have small pond for little one's to fish the frogs in the pond are pretty good size. All in all if want something to do and just want to get out for little bit it's very cozy place to go. More for picking fruit and that kind thing for family fun they do have place buy cider and donuts fee items to buy and picnic tables to eat at so can bring or go buy lunch and eat their. I would say nice place to go and just have a peaceful time.

I went there thinking they would have a good food stand & fall festival. They charge $60 for 1/2 a bushel of apples & still charge an entrance fee. The only thing that is updated is the price. Their apple cider donuts are mediocre. They don't serve corn or really any food choices. The farm animals are sparce & you can't feed them. The play stuff is very old & no jump pillows. The corn maze is a joke; it takes 5mibutes to go through. It is not in corn. The haunted house and hay ride are okay.

I have been to many farms but this one definitely stands out. The kids working the farm are the most pleasant speaking kids I have ever met. Very helpful and just so joyful overall. From the hayride to the field to the animals you can visit, I really enjoyed this place. I love the variety of apples. The beautiful rows of each kind to pick is such an experience itself. I also ran into one of the family members out in the field, asked him where I could locate the grapes. He was very helpful and even gave me more varieties to take home. The store was filled with homemade jams, salsa, apple butters and cider. All of us picked up a couple jars each to try. I will definitely be back, this farm is worth the trip out.

Went there for apple picking, I can't recommend it. The value simply isn't there. For a small bag of apples, they charge $20, and admission of $10 per person on top of that. I can get it at the store or a roadside stand for $5. Other apple-picking places will charge that much for a much larger quantity. We honestly only wanted to go apple picking. Since we had to buy admission, we decided to do the other activities. The 'corn maze' was more of a 'weed path' to me, easy to see where you are the entire time, as the weeds were not that tall, and it was just a series of 3 loops. Maybe for the little ones, it is good, though our 5-year-old did not enjoy it. There are definitely better actual corn mazes around. This 'fishing pond' was also a bit of a joke. The best part was the haunted house, though likely since my expectations were so low by that point. My kid did like the hayride.
