I usually don’t touch on RACIAM, but this place took 1st place. I’ve been living in the area almost 3 years and have had the same job with the same check. Sometimes they cash my check and sometimes they don’t, whenever they feel like it. But today when the lady had the whole team verify that they have never cash a check for me today really floored me. I shop there regularly and have been a regular for years. They are rude, I don’t ever think I’ve been greeted one time I’ve shopped there. They have 0 black employees and will not hire black people. Not to mention their prices are OVERPRICED. If you’re black don’t support this store. Honestly none of you should. It makes me take a second look on the city of Coloma. I will never shop here ever again.

Limited selection, high prices,app isn't user friendly. Can't look up products,can only view the weekly ad which is available already in a hard copy to view.Can't use any of their digital coupons because I can't get into my current app nor can I retrieve and reset my password,because I can't get an email sent to me to reset it. Deli doesn't provide the ability to order fried chicken qhen you eant it because they just don't seem to have enough fryers to keep up.ItsVERY sad because we end up shopping anywhere else most of the time because we can earn pounts,get coupons and better sales at Meijer,Walmart, and EVEN B&B grocery. Even Dollar general at least offers the availability to use my insurance card and there alone they could get 198.00 of what I could spend a month there if they reached out yo the insurance company to be added to their list of carriers.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The grocery store is big and clean. Very organized. We stopped here driving thru to our destination. The bathrooms were clean. The bottle return area was messy and a bit overlooked. You walk thru this area to get to the bathrooms. Besides this, it's a nice store.

Love the recently redone interior and exterior! So glad to see a smaller thriving grocery store in the area instead of only Walmart or Meijers! Very clean and has friendly staff. Even has restrooms to use!(even though Hardings is a has many stores/ is a grocery larger store company overall, it's nice to not have to walk a mile inside a store just for grocery needs and then have to walk another mile to the other side of a mega-store for pharmacy products etc).

High prices on most things and a horribly incompetent meat department.This was my 3rd and last try to get meat/cheese. Wrong amounts, wrong types and 15 minute minimum with no other customers.1st time was almost 30 minutes for them to cut 1/2lb of meat (only got 1/4) and 1lb of cheese (got 1.5lbs). 2nd time, tried to get the other 1/4lb, but they gave me over 1/2lb that time. Today, was 22 minutes, no 1 was in front of me. Lady got the weight right, but the wrong meat on 1 of the 2.Overall, basically a Walmart level of workers that obviously don't want to be there along with the high prices makes it just a convenience store. It's clean with an ok selection, but will spend the extra time to drive to a better place.

Quality friendly hometown grocer. Very convenient. I wish they did a better job of keeping everything in stock, there are a good amount of empty spaces on their shelves. Produce and fresh foods are very good. The best part is the butcher shop, top notch.

Love the renovations (- the self check outs as I prefer people). The best meat market in the area for my money. Always grab steaks and other grill items when visiting the area. Also the fried chicken is better than most restaurants.

Love shopping here and I get my prescriptions here as well, the prices are a little more than you'd pay at a store in Benton harbor but everyone is friendly here.

I went to this store for the first time on 7/22/23 around 10:45am. The bagger that was working there made me so uncomfortable that I will never return. He put my groceries in a separate cart, which is normal. But when other stores have done this, they usually hand me the cart and take mine for the next order. He instead put two bags in my cart and then just starting taking the other cart out the door without saying a word to me about what was going on. He never asked if I wanted help getting groceries to my car, but instead just started following me to my car. When we got to my car, I asked him if I could put my groceries away myself. He didn't say anything. I said, I never asked for help and again asked if I could put my groceries in my car myself. He responded "eh, sure." Then proceeded to stand next to me and stare at me while I put my groceries away. He then took both carts and left also without saying a word. No thanks for coming or even a goodbye. He had zero customer service skills and did not get that I didn't want a random guy following me outside. I didn't see any other baggers taking carts to customer cars at the time, so not sure why this happened to me. PLEASE do not let your baggers follow girls to their cars without their permission. I understand some stores think it's a nice gesture, but there's plenty of people like me who prefer to do things themselves.

Beautiful looking newly remodeled store. Unfortunately, customer service has been lost in this store. They were out of stock on an item that was on sale and when I asked if there was more the cashier rolled her eyes at me.When I left something behind the bagger yelled at me, "HEY! You forgot something!" And didn't even bother walking towards me with the item.Customer service is a lost art, and with the direction of this country I believe it is going to be lost forever!

This store has been recently remodeled. It's a nice mid-sized grocery store with actual cashiers and baggers! There are also self checkout options, but this place had no waiting at the two checkout aisles with cashiers ON A WEEKEND DAY! The store is brightly lit, super clean, and very well stocked. If you're tired of long lines and 20-30 minute waits to checkout with a cart full of groceries like I am, I highly recommend shopping at Harding's in Coloma. After this visit, I think this will be my new go-to when I have to shop for groceries on a weekend.

Stop here about 4 times a week. Live 5 minutes away. Prices are good on some things and not so good on others. Definitely a Friendly Market. Store is organized and management works swiftly. Deli has a very nice selection ranging from some sea food to beef, chicken, pork and side salads. Also sells great hot food such as Fried Chicken, Chicken tenders and all the fixings as well as a few other items. The produce selection is full and vibrant. Everything you'd expect from a local grocery store. Parking is good. Cleanliness for carts and baskets is also very good. Store layout is simple and easy to remember. Always check the Deals Aisle for the best deals in store.

The prices are high but I understand that they will not get the discounts that a big box store gets. I like the meat selection and the friendliness of most of the employees.I was very disappointed when I ran in to get some fried chicken after a hectic day and was turned away 30 minutes before the sign said that they would be closing. Instead of supporting a small chain I ended up supporting a corporate chain. When a sign says that you will be closing at 6 I would think that it would mean that they would no longer run the fryers past 6. That's some poor management and will result in a loss of customers and income since a lot of people eat dinner around that time.

We were in the area and needed some groceries so we stopped in. Started to fill a cart for a regular shop but so many things were priced significantly more than we're used to seeing that we left without buying anything at all. I know we're dealing with inflation but $8.99 for broccoli salad in the deli?!? $7 for a box of cereal. $3 for a can of Progresso soup, on sale?!? No thanks. We normally shop at Meijer and I guess we'll keep doing that.

For being a small grocery store, their stock of specialty items, esp for those with food allergies, was impressive, and the manager and cashier were very helpful. Only four stars because, although a tiny organic section would be expected in such a small town, the selection that was there had seen better day - is., most of it was past the point of edible. Regular produce was great, though, so clearly there just isn't a lot of demand for organic.

They really are friendly. I bought the best head of lettuce there once. That head of lettuce was unique and the best lettuce in the world for salads. I ate a big Jethrine bowl of it and fell in love with lettuce. Their produce is well care for. They also have a great meat department. I think they hired the butcher that used to work at Farmer Friday's. This is a real home town grocery store. Thank you Harding's.
