Joe Herman helped us select 4 wines for our tasting, then we enjoyed them overlooking the estate. We had to buy the 2016 Grand Sun Syrah, our favorite. Listen to Joe speak with passion on the podcast called "If Vines Could Talk".

I stopped by Karma Vista very late in their season, just before they closed for winter, but I'm glad that I made the trip. First off, the view from their tasting room is just fantastic, and you can look over the whole area from there. If it weren't for the dunes, the lake would be visible. The staff was very friendly, and their recommendations for the tasting were quite good. All of the wines I tried were very pleasant, and I bought a few bottles to bring home. I'd definitely recommend dropping by if you enjoy wine and you're nearby, but the view alone would be a draw in my opinion.

Visiting with the owners and having them show us out the window which vineyard produced the grapes was amazing. The best flavors in the wines we have sampled while in Michigan. We loved the personal touch.

When my wife and I were deciding what wineries we wanted to visit on our second visit to the local wine trail; Karma Vista was a no-brainer. The wines are great, and the view is fantastic.During our third time doing the wine trail in 2023, Karma Vista was once again on the must visit list.

Phenomenal variety of wonderfully crafted wines. We drive 2 hours from our home several times per year to visit Karma Vista. Family owned; exceptional customer service. We always enjoy the conversation with staff and the owners (Joe & Sue) and learning about the growing techniques and grapes. Intimate and lovely setting with delicious and proudly crafted wines.

Love, just Love the Cabernet Funk. Buy this everytime i visit the winery. Rich ruby red in the glass. It opens with an opulent fruity nose wrapped in present but soft tannins on the palate. So while it is structured with some black cherry and chocolate flavors, it also has a smoky oak finish and fresh acidity at the end with good tannins. Lovely smell and taste from the glass

We absolutely love Karma Vista! We do wine tasting in the benton harbor/coloma area every year and this is definitely one of our favorites! The wine is amazing and the view is unmatched. They are also incredibly knowledgeable (my husband and I ask a lot of questions about the wine and vineyard).

A real gem! Serene, relaxing, very friendly customer service, lovely patio and fields where you can just lie down and sleep after wine tasting. Will be back again!

Very friendly owners and staff. We like many of their wines. We bought a Pink side of the Moon, in honor of Pink Floyd's 50th Anniversary of the Dark Side of the Moon.

How very sad we were unable to taste your wines, because you chose not to even allow anyone to purchase a glass of wine 20 mins before you close, NOT tastings, purchase a glass!Sadly you do not have a welcoming atmosphere whatsoever, no buses allowed and no pets, even outside! These two items did not affect us, but you obviously don't wish to open to all the public. Today, you lost business to four women, who will not recommend you because you didn't have the customer service abilities to extend to us - remember we are the reason you exist. Advise you take your negative reviews and learn from them.

We enjoyed trying all wineries and meeting people. We enjoyed our conversation we could have with the owner. They are trying to gear down when they need to gear up. He was a little put out and they asked for no large crowds. She was very nice and made up for it. We enjoyed the wine enough that we purchased wine to bring home, and love to support independent winemakers.

We visited on a beautiful Friday afternoon. Very nice views of the vineyard from the back deck. Enjoyed a nice tasting of mainly red wines. Happy that touch we were able to drink from wine glasses and not plastic cups which improved the wine tasting experience. Staff was very courteous and pleasant.

I cant share an experience, but I took this absolutely lovely photo a few years back and had to share. It is an absolutely beautiful place, and this sunset just was sooo gorgeous.Permission to anyone to use the photo.

I love their wines. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. You do not have to deal with crowds, as they do not allow buses and big groups like some other wineries. Prices for tastings and bottles are very reasonable. I always end up leaving with couple of cases. Must visit.

Wine is good for the area. Me and my wife like drier wines and there was some good offerings. Our friends like sweeter wines and they spoke very highly of their tastings. Owners are very friendly and have been there everything we have stopped by. The view from the deck is beautiful and makes for one of the better places to sit with friends and enjoy a glass.

Exceptionally personalized tasting experience! We loved our conversation with Joe Herman. He made us feel like the only guests in the tasting room even though there were dozens of other happy wine tasters. I highly recommend you check out Karma Vista Vineyard. Thank you, Joe, for making our visit a delightful part of our visit to Coloma. Happy harvesting!

My wife and I visited Karma Vista on 12 Sep 2014 and had a great time. Their wines were very good and Sue was both friendly and helpful. We enjoyed speaking with her about Karma Vista's history and our wine preferences. She was also took time to offer us a map for the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail as well as directions and landmark identification for other interesting stops on the Wine Trail and general area. We hope to make it back soon.

5 Tastings for $5 was a great deal. All of the ones we tried were delicious in their own kind of way. Prices are very reasonable. My lady friends and I purchased 2 bottles each 😊 The staff was friendly and patient. Very quaint but a nice experience.

Extremely upset with current situation. Came to the tasting room with 8 girlfriends and because we were in a bus (being responsible and not driving) we were refused service. Several us of didn’t even need to taste but just wanted to buy wine that we knew we liked. A lady met us in the parking lot and told us that we would not be seen before our ride even stopped. I’ve been coming here for several year and I’m so disappointed. Probably won’t return here.

The wine and atmosphere were great. Make sure you keep track of your tastings because my wife was almost shorted out of one and I didn't realize I only got 4 tastings till after we left. We were only a party of two. I'm sure bigger party's get more confusing.

Highly discourage anyone from going to Karma Vista. The owners are unfriendly and rude. We have visited wineries in Sonoma, Napa Valley and numerous cities in Michigan. All of which were friendly and courteous regardless of the quality from low to high of the wine.We were four people in an age group of 60’s. We came into Karma Vista encountering a nice couple we had met at the previous wine stop and laughter ensued over it. We were “not” inebriated; we were “not” swearing or beligerant. We were merely laughing. We were then asked to leave and told we should go to a local bar!!!! Never, never in my 60-some years have I been treated so badly. The wine is “ok”. The ownership rude and undeservedly snotty. We now tell everyone we know “not” to frequent Karma Vista. We have “NEVER” given an undesirable review to any winery or restaurant we have “Ever” been to!There are copious wineries in Michigan. Skip this one!

Good selection of red wines for the region. By far one of the best views you will find for quite a drive. Just a heads up they close earlier than most wineries in the area though and don't serve within 15mins of closing. A later close time would have given me a five star rating.

We always stop here on our way west or when nearby. We love their wines and usually buy a case. They have a wide variety of vintages and we have found something new and unexpected on each visit.
