I want here last night to pick up my Western Union and they were open it was only 935 Google told me they did Western Union until 10. I showed up with only workers at the store and opened up the door and asked politely if this was a Western Union location and all 4 of the employees at the register looked at each other until one decided to respond with no this is not a Western Union location. I drove around in circles for 20 minutes trying to find it and had no luck. So I woke up this morning and I googled if the dollar general was the Western Union location and long behold it definitely is. I was lied to, and drove into town for no reason whatsoever. Don't go here if you can help it they turn down business and lie to your face.Adam Flathau

I think this Dollar General staffed by some pretty great folks. I find the neighbors here that frequent the store to be surprisingly critical considering no other company is willing to invest in the household basic/supermarket business model within city limits. I’ve only experienced friendly service and I’ve never been disappointed when I paid a quick visit for something I needed.

Staff is unprofessional, store is always a mess. Lots of trip hazards and even dirty all the time. They don't take down old sale signs in a timely manner. Block the fire door, and leave carts and stock carts everywhere in the aisles.

Last week they closed at 4pm to take care of there truck with 7 employees there, then the next day 5 employees the closed at 8pm, then tonight I go in after sitting there for 5 minutes waiting for the cashier I walk out because no one came the Manger sat in the office saw her look at me 2 times and still nothing so I left my stuff on the counter and walked out they will no longer get my business.

Absolutely terrible. You can NEVER find anything, the store has a foul smell, they never ever restock properly and there is always boxes blocking the way, workers are extremely rude and smell bad. Nobody where's a mask when going in and they never have anything good. They shut down two stores just for a trailer park trash dollar store. HATE IT

Being the only grocery type store in town it's alright. Most generally have everything I go in there looking for. Not always the cleanest place. But that could be blamed on two things. The amount of business they do daily, and the employees only doing what they absolutely have to to get a check. Hard to get a cashier to do much more then stand at the register when even the shift managers have the ambition of a sloth. And that is sometimes questionable.

I wish I could give zero stars. Some clerks wear masks under nose, and most of the time everyone comes in without a mask. No one says anything to them. I've been heckled because I wear one and laughed at. If this is just people from Coleman I am disappointed. Place does not get washed down. Is not clean. I have autoimmune diseases and have to wear one. I hope they don't think their safe with vaccine..

1-2 employees on weekends means long lines when it gets busy. Considering the store is tiny, this means the front portion of the store is impossible to navigate. An overall lack of formal professionalism is accepted, leading to personal conversations taking priority over customer service.

This is a store NOT enforcing social distancing OR masks, ignorantly going against Covid-19 guidelines and risking further spread to both their employees AND their patrons. Way to go, guys.This is also a store that never seems to have their stock finished, things are misplaced and hard to find, and it takes forever to get checked out if there are more than 3 people in the entire store. Be prepared for the customers who like to make up their own haphazard parking spots, are rude and blatantly ignorant, and have zero qualms with stepping in front of you without acknowledging the simple fact that you are also standing there.I wish I could give it zero stars.

Ok, so I work at a Dollar General at this location. I started in 2017 as a sales associate (cashier) in Lake George, I am currently the assistant manager of this store. I understand that the aisles having things in them is a pain and the lack of a product is irritating. What everyone doesn't understand is which ever day we get our trucks on let's say Tuesday like at my store we only stock our u-boats and totes that 1st day and we only have a day 1/2 to have our trucks done. My store it's by 11:00am Thursday so no matter what time our truck comes on Tuesday's and no matter how big our trucks are (my location we get close to 2,000 piece trucks every week) that's the allotted time we are given. It doesn't always happen that way but we try. We also don't do our ordering for the stores that's all done based on sales and the distribution center. Also we are only allowed to schedule so many hours every week, we have a budget to follow. My store is a $2,000,000 a year store so we most likely get a little more hours than say a smaller store. We try our hardest to please everyone. I understand it's very frustrating to stand in line and there's only 1 person on register and the other person is outside and you think geez they're just out there smoking but what you don't understand is we HAVE TO BY LAW GIVE THEM LUNCH BREAKS. And that person may have came in at 6am. I work 10 hour days at my store so I have to take an hour lunch. If you work over 5 hours you have to per company policy take a 30 min lunch. Anything over 7.5 hours is an hour lunch. That lunch is supposed to be uninterrupted. For managers or managers on duty that doesn't always happen since you have to have keys to do a return or to void something. So before you get rude or upset with an employee think about the things I've mentioned. Just because we work in customer service doesn't make us any less human, we have feelings too. We all try to make your shopping experience great at every location. We have company policies we have to follow too. And remember if it wasn't for those who work in customer service these stores wouldn't be possible to exist.

Merchandice not ring up the right price. Cashier needs more training. Cigarette butts everywhere, The place is dirty !! Boxes and trash laying in the isles.Half the coolers are not working.I can keep going on. This once clean store is going down hill fast.

Since this is our only "grocer" in our town its inevitable to not go there. Do not go here if you expect to get in and out. Today I waited in line for 20 minutes, to check out. I understand that workers need breaks and lunches, but its peak holiday season right now and 2 employees is not enough to fill the demand of people shopping.No fresh food items. All boxed foods and a frozen section. Aisles are always packed because "the computer" overloads the store with stock. The bathrooms are probably worse than a porta Jon. The milk cooler smells of spoiled milk.These stores are running small business owners out of business and are just a trashy store.

The stock is never done so you can't ever find what you're looking for. They have carts all over in the way with product on it still wrapped up you can't see what it is anyways. Just a horrible place with people working that don't care and refuse to do even minimum effort. I would only go here if it is your absolute last option

They're good hard working people there that have had problems with management and sometimes those shelves are not loaded with the product they need but until they get the proper manager in place this is going to happen other than that I've never met any bad person working here

Unpacked boxes and carts in the aisles. Things you need are not on the shelf and the staff hardly help. You might get luck and get one of the couple nice workers.

I think it's rediculous that stores are at Corporate opinion as to what is ordered for stores. Have waited for WEEKS and in some cases MONTHS for items! No selections. Very disappointed with corporate management!
