Made a brief stop at Dollar General today to pick up a few necessities. As always, they had what I needed and checkout was speedy. In and out in under 5 minutes for convenient purchasing of daily essentials.

Went in on Saturday. I chose to go here because I had the $5 off $25 coupon. Got my stuff, got checked out and started to head to the car, and realized the coupon didn't come off. Went back in. Cashier simply said let take care of these couple people really quick, and I'll get you. Did not tell me to get in line or anything. She proceeded to take care of those couple people and everyone that came into the line. I stood there at least 5-10 minutes. (Mind you, I had ice cream, and she knew this) and she never stopped to take care of me or say maybe it would be best to hop back in line. I finally just left. I'm definitely disappointed in how this was handled. If I had known she'd continue taking the line continuously before me, I would have gone in line.

I came looking for some winter-themed boxes, but all they had were Christmas themed ones and a few hanukkah. I'm not Christian or Jewish, sp I left without a box. I did, however, find some dinosaurs and rearrange them. Enjoy.

When I went in with my 1 yr old and my friends.we had her diapers and wipes, and ect. In her bag.we got told we couldn't have her bag so I can't have her needs in a store with me?worst store every, don't bring your kids unless you want bad treatment from employees

I have never seen a dirtier or more unorganized store in my life. Racks lined up down every Aisle you can’t even get to the shelves to get anything if it might be there. The shelves are just all mixed up and unorganized. I would rather drive to Quincy where everything is clean and organized.

This place is a joke, you have to watch how they scan things if they do a price check for someone and then start scanning your stuff your being charged for whatever they done a price check on. Then it take forever for the cashier to figure out how to fix it and the lines are always so long and if you go get another employee they get upset like you are bothering them and they show an attitude towards the customers and they are not afraid to show it on their faces. If I lived in Detroit I would understand the hatefulness, but this is Coldwater, not allowed. Doesn't deserve any stars, but it won't let you post it unless you give it 1 star.

Went to Dollar general on 160 W Chicago Rd, Coldwater. Wanted to purchase 2 pizza's, which had a digital coupon buy one get one free, toilet paper, and a 2 liter of Pepsi. I told the clerk at the checkout that the Pizza's were buy one get one free with a Digital Coupon. She asked me if I had the digital coupon..I said.."what's a digital coupon and I dont have my phone.."...she said do you have the app?..I said I dont have my phone...she replied that "that's what a digital coupon is, its on the app with your phone"...her tone and demeanor was quite rude...I looked at her dumbfounded and asked..."why would you get ruse with me because I dont know what a digital coupon is"..seriously my question..her response was.."because you got rude with me"....Im rude for asking what a digital coupon is? I may have been slightly ignorant regarding the digital app, but this clerk could have explained to me what t was, how to use it, and how it could save me money on my next visit and made me feel better about he transaction..instead, because of her unprofessional response I responded with..."You can keep your"s**t"...and walked out. Its not that I didn't have the money to buy the products I did..I went to Dollar General and purchased them with no coupon. It was the unprofessional demeanor that this Clerk had as if I should have known what a digital app was. Because she did not take the extra step to inform me of what it was, and to have some type of empathy for the customer who was ignorant of the fact, I will not be back to Dollar General, and will spend my money elsewhere. The entitlement of some of the people that work in retail establishments is staggering at the least. At Family Dollar, I always receive good customer service..

Never opens on time because they don't pay attention to time. Then the store manager Kristy congress to the door with a horrible attitude and giving dirty looks. The place is always cluttered and dirty. Store manager is always rude

I was in yesterday evening to buy a couple things was a considerable long line the cashier had a disgusting attitude towards a couple of customers that were mentally challenged because they had a hard time understanding about payment she kept snapping at them during whole transaction but was totally cool to talk about her Halloween costume she wore on Halloween with another customer by time I made it up to pay for my things she was still belittling and talking about the customers and going on and on to the store manager maybe instead of talking negatively about customers these workers should put that energy into cleaning and properly stocking the selves the store looks completely horrible I will not return to this company until changes are made !!!!!

The staff is very nice but this store is very cluttered. In my personal opinion I would say that this store is in no way wheelchair accessible in its current state. Due to how busy the store is, my suggestion would be that the district manager needs to get a team in to clean and organize so that normal staff can continue to wait on customers and perform daily duties.

I’ve been in town for work the past couple weeks and I’ve stopped to use the bathroom thinking it would be cleaner than a gas station and I was disgusted! They made me use the men’s bathroom and there was no soap or anything to dry your hands with, there was no toilet paper. The toilet was so disgusting and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a couple weeks.

While it would be easier to shop here if the aisles weren't so crowded, it seems they may have finally found the right employees. The store is about 90% better than the last time I was in there. 😁

I shopped at this store for year's and i love it. They pretty much have everything that you would need or wanted. Prices are perfect and the cashiers are really sweet.

This dollar general has the slowest moving line in all the land. With lines this bad you might as well create a fast pass system like at theme parks where you can pay extra to go to the front of the line. I didn't have an extra hour to spare to pay for my stuff today so I decided to go elsewhere. I won't be back, theres plenty of nearby options with the same stuff and no extensive waits for checkout.

I generally like it but since Covid-19 & wearing masks I've lowered my thoughts of them. I have seen dozens of people with no masks at all and the workers don't wear them as well. Totally unacceptable & irresponsible.

I went in to get dishwasher pods that I forgot at Wal-Mart . Of course got more than I needed but then my son noticed one very special thing. A Mickey mouse Santa hat at the very top of their Christmas tree. I asked if they had any more. The two ladies said nope but I'll get the ladder, anything to satisfy a coustomer. They made my son's day. Thank you

The only time this store opens on time is when jazmine is working. The store is unorganized and not well stocked. Store manager is rude and refuses to assist customers. Employees will stand there and look at you waiting to go in well after 8am instead of unlocking the door at 8 like they are supposed to

I love a great deal on 2 liters of pop. Hurry in before the 26th for 4 for $4 coke products. The cashier was friendly too.

The Manager was wearing no mask and the cashier had a mask over her mouth only. Those 2 does not care about stopping the virus my family and i will not be shopping at this store again until the employees can follow the rules.

Worst dollar general I have ever been in. Looks like a tornado went through the place. Merchandise scattered & thrown all over. Also stinks in the store. Disgusting!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Staff really nice. Miss the cloths and shoes. But like grocery. Dog food, i wouldnt buy here. I experience a bad product here before. Milk expensive here.

I go here quite often because it's close to my house but the aisles are always blocked by merchandise and the line to check out is almost always long and even when its not long it seems to take forever

I go here a lot when I'm in town and it's the best dollar store there. They always have what I need.
