If i could leave 0 stars i would. This store is absolutely ridiculous since it reopened and changed everything, there are always carts and stuff in the way if you want to look at anything you have to move stuff yourself just to shop!!! Very poorly done ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WALK DOWN AN ISLE WITHOUT KNOCKING STUFF DOWN

This dollar general is also price gouging. I paid way more at the register than what was marked on the shelves. This whole company needs to be shut down for good. Take photos of the prices on the shelves before you check out!!

Jen is one of the best cashiers there she is really on top of her job polite courteous and willing to help you.The other employees there seem to do their jobs would have to say this store is one of the cleanest I've seen by far.great job Clinton store employees would definitely return there in the future.

I may be biased since I'm the new store manager. I took over on 420...I *think* I've made a positive impact. Google reviews are cool but doing the survey on your receipt is what helps me. STUBS was here haha

The store does not enforce mask policy. On two occasions I have walked in and there has been a customer not wearing a mask. Management is very nice at this store but looks the other way--even though there is a sign on the front door indicating masks are required. I hope the store franchise owner reads the several comments regarding this health and safety issue, because it is resulting in lost business. I am giving two stars rather than one because the store has a nice collection and always has friendly staff.

Three times in the last four months I've had scanner overcharges. The first they refunded the difference without paying the penalty required by Michigan law. The second, both my items were wrong, and I walked out. Today was the third, and the cashier had no idea what to do and pulled the store manual. I left to avoid shutting down the line while the manager walked her through the procedure. TAKE PICTURES OF THE SHELF PRICES, KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS. Read the Michigan Shopper Reform and Modernization Act and hold these people accountable to Michigan law.

I like my local dollar store. They try there best to get shelves stocked. I think, I some how manage to show up on truck days every time. Depends on who's there, if you get greeted or not 🙃 .

The cashier needs to pay better attention to the checkout line. I'm having to wait a solid 5 minutes for him/her to start checking me out. Granted they have a sophisticated paging system made up of the cordless phone finder button and even that is annoying.

This store always has good deals. The staff are fairly friendly, not overly excited to have customers. I wish they would stock larger amounts of Coke Zero, and have regular sales on it, like other Dollar Generals. The one in Manchester is awesome!!

Went to store after 8 and staff was just getting there. She said it would be 20 minutes before I could buy anything. This is my 2nd bad experience w this staff. Will find somewhere else to shop.

I dont stop here often but they usually have exactly what I need. It's nice to have something other than busch's in town. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they need more lights in their parking lot. I was shocked at how dark it was the other day when I stopped there.

When i got home from shopping i realized i had a bag missing. I went back the next day with my receipt and it wasn't there. I was told by employee and manager that they were sorry, but they would not replace the items I didn't get. That's $15 to their advantage. I will not go there again.

I stopped by to buy some stuff for the road, and I asked for the restroom the person in the floor ask somebody at the register if I can use it and he says the toilet was broke for two days, when I was paying I told the guy that is to bad than the restroom is been broken for two days and he told me no is been broken for the whole month.And this really made me mat, what a POS management

The store is a bit dated and cluttered, but I found everything I needed, and the guy at checkout was super friendly. They do have a button at the reguster to pudh to get something, which was a quaint lil qwerk of the place.

One Cashier wearing mask incorrectly ( not covering nose) and complaining about being too busy. I was disappointed. The gentleman who checked me out was correctly masked, but one person is all it takes to spread virus.

The store was absolutely disgusting. The floors are covered in stickers and the shelves are bare, not to mention you have to walk around things in the isles. Very disappointed and I will not return Bushes is very well kept.

Nice and clean. As I have just moved here, I am having a hard time finding special brands that I prefer. D.G has them. Still a little pricey but at least I can get them. Actually, it is my favorite place to shop.

Gabby went OVER AND BEYOND today. I recently had an accident that made it so i couldn't lift cat litter. She not only got it off the shelf and to the register for me.. but also took it out to my car. Thank you so much Gabby!

They usually have what I need but the service is incredibly slow and they never have more than one cashier at a time. I actually feel bad for the employees because you can tell that they have no one there that will actually help them.

It was duty and everything on the selfs was disorganized and messy and everything was not put where they belong and you couldn't find what the prizes was on any items to. There was items on they floor and the floor was so messy and very dirty. And it seems like everytime i go in there it's like that. I don't know how they stay open.And some of the items are to expensive to.

Great store and awesome prices.download the app and you'll never use a 5 dollar coupon again because the application will automatically take care of it when you type your phone number in.also dg brands are great way to save $$.
