I stopped by here on two different days for a business lunch after receiving local recommendations and looking at the Google reviews.I enjoyed their limited offering of a wet burrito and a few days later the showboat club on Texan toast.Flattop and booth seating with plastic table clothes and paper napkins. Two separate dining areas but basic with no frills. They appear to have a bar for limited cocktails but I definitely saw a person get a Busch light with their lunch. Competitive prices. Good to very good service depending on the waitress. No wifi. The meals weren’t fantastic but were solid where I would return again.

We stopped for dinner on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly in the clean, casual dining room. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, the clientele was a mix of all age groups. The menu has a good mix of American diner/ comfort food choices. The salad bar is small, but fresh and tasty. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Amazing food and the warmest atmosphere around. It was a taste of home and felt like I was surrounded by family. I can't wait to go back! I loved the salad bar and the yummy roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy. Husband had the showboat burger and son had the fried chicken and baked potato. The potato soup was so savory and delicious. I will have leftovers due to the portion size which makes me so happy I get to enjoy it another time again.I'm always sad that I can't come here more often, but excited to make the trip over knowing how delicious everything is.The service is always so fast and friendly and they make you want to keep coming back for more.

I went and had a salad bar and a half sandwich. I had two pieces of ham on it and it cost me $12. I’ll never go to this place again then it wasn’t even any good talking about getting ripped off.

Been to this restaurant many times. Always great service and food. Waitess today was terrible. We waited and waited for her. Talking to co-workers more important than waiting on the customer. If we needed a refill, extra napkins, boxes, the bill asking twice before we got anything. Asked for a to go drink because she never refilled. She said that is 1.00 extra for that. At the price they charge for a pop I couldn't believe it. We have never been charged at this restaurant or any other. Bad service, charging extra for a to go pop...owners need to read the book " give them the pickle". We love the food. Will be back but will ask for another waitress if we get this terrible one...and will order water.

I think our server's name was Rick and he was fantastic. Prompt service, super friendly, and really nice to my mom and my son which I loved. The food was wonderful, between the 4 of us, we had the Monday special which is a pot roast dinner, I had a mandarin salad, and my husband had a nacho with beef. Everything was so good and prepared so quickly! The chicken noodle soup was amazing. We love Showboat and I always try to stop by when I come back into town and this is exactly why. Thank you, Rick! Hope to see you again.

I don't know if the place is understaffed. But I took close to 1.5 hours for two of us to sit order, eat, and pay the bill. Drinks came out in 5 mins, couldn't order for 20+ mins. Coffee refill in 10+ mins after being empty. Food took 20+ mins forgot I asked for ketchup. Took 20 mins to bring our credit card back. I wouldn't waste my time coming back. The food is not worth the wasted Friday afternoon

I used to live in Chesaning. Don't get up there often now but whenever I get the chance I eat at showboat. Always good food at a good price. My showboat burger was as good as ever.

It was amazing!!! Food was delicious. Our server was Katelyn. She was very friendly, and right on top of things. Hopefully we'll make it back that way eventually.
