One of the best experiences we have ever had with a retailer. Justin Carlton was absolutely amazing at getting us the best price for our camper. Long after we picked up the camper, he helped us with navigating the ins and outs of being new to the camper world. He went above and beyond to make our entire family feel comfortable in the process. There is something incredibly special about the family atmosphere and the ability to personalize every single experience that cannot be done at a chain camping store.

Carlton Camping Center has been great/easy to work with. Justin responds in a timely manner and their Tech Lee was extremely thorough and knowledgeable when going over our camper with us. Great to know there are still people that care. We had a few cosmetic items off the rip that needed to be replaced, and they started the claim effortlessly.Will update this review in the future if need be.

Awesome experience. Very nice and honest people, both in the sales staff and service department. We saved thousands of dollars on our new Travel Trailer. One of the best things was that there were absolutely no hidden fees and no "dealer prep fee" that you'd find at other dealers.I had to bring the trailer back for warranty work several months after the purchase. Carlton Camping Center was just as nice to work with after the sale as before.I highly recommend!!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to purchase our new 2022 camper from Carlton’s Camping Center! We bought at the flint camper show. Justin was fantastic and efficient on everything. Lee was very knowledgeable with our questions and informing us of all of the bells and whistles. Even Joyce I’m the store area was helpful and extremely kind. Five stars across the board!!!

Found a travel trailer advertised on Marketplace and decided to visit Carlton Camping Center and see it. We had nothing but friendly, timely, courteous service throughout the entire process.Paperwork/financing went without a glitch; our “orientation” and walk-through when we picked it up was the best we’ve ever experienced.Quality customer service! We bought a small camper this winter so we haven't had it out yet. However, I'm writing this review early as the folks at Carlton Camping Center couldn't have done a better job. They are great at communicating. If you don't get them on the phone when you call, they call you right back. This is a terrific attribute for any business.Justin gave us a very good price on our new camper; best by far of all we checked. Lee came in on his day off to walk us through how to use all the gizmos (there are a lot) in the camper. He spent over an hour with us and was terrific.After we get our new toy out this summer, we can review the actual camper.

My family and I were traveling through Michigan in a new to us, used motor home and happened by Carlton’s. They were very kind and checked out our cabin batteries, which they assured me did not need replacing. Only the contacts needed tightening, which they did for free. They also offered advice about the tilt when the slide was out. Very nice people.

I cannot say enough about how great Carlton Camping Center is. I had been shopping for a new camper for almost a year. I had been to 4 different dealers in my search. I felt very rushed and pressured at the other places. I had to be escorted around and could not just look at what I wanted to. The prices were very high and had a list of fees tagged on at the end. Even a cleaning walk through fee. What?! Thankfully I stopped in at Carlton Camping Center. They have the campers open with the prices clearly marked. Thousands of dollars lower for the same camper. They also have no fees added on. The whole experience was great. We have our dream camper and saved over 6,000$. The guys in service were excellent and showed us everything we needed to know about our new camper and even stayed after hours without complaint. I recommend these guys to everyone. They will save you money and take care of you.

Rented the Terry Classic from Justin for Faster Horses weekend. Justin is very knowledgeable, and is willing to be available at the drop of a dime. Justin and his wife Korey did a great job with the delivery, set up, and instruction, on how to get the best use of our rental. These two are great people, and we look forward to dealing with them again in the future!

We were traveling from Bay City to our Campground for a great weekend in the Jackson area. Our journey takes us M57 to M52 and we turn south and always stop at Granny's Kitchen in Oakley, MI.Upon parking our Truck and Camper Trailer, we noticed that the cable from the truck to the camper had slipped and dragged on the road and frayed. Did a quick fix with Duct Tape, yet didn't make a connection. We grabbed a quick bite and inquired from the staff for a local Camper Center.Luck was on our side, the staff said go back north 3 miles and we'd find Carton Camping Center. Entered the center, the driver went into the Sales/Service Office, was met by a Staff member. He explained the situation, I think her name was Kelly, she took him to a service pro, who inspected the situation.Great news, he said he could do a temporary fix that would get us to our destination. Within minutes, he was working on the problem. After he repaired the problem then the service pro even checked both batteries and fuses, all lights and connections. All was safe working.The amazing thing about our experience was that we were I and out within an hour and1/2 if at most, especially on a busy weekend Friday.Kudos to the staff and folks at Carlton Camping Center. If ever traveling on M-57 and intersection of M-52 in Cheasning, MI. Need road assistance they are the ones to go to.A very satisfied travelers!!Thanks again!!

My work schedule does not allow me to shop during normal hours. Carlton Camping Center made special arrangements to have the store and campers open for me to look at.They were friendly and knowledgeable and did not put any pressure on me and even had all the prices clearly marked. I had been to other places and could not look on my own and felt very pressured making me almost give up on buying a camper. But then I found this place and found my dream camper and the price was unbeatable as I shopped seven different dealers. The whole process was excellent and I recommend them to all my friends and family!

My wife selected the one for us in January. Everything from top to bottom is exactly what we expected from a smaller store with huge knowledge and fantastic people.They took the time to show us all the details inside and out on the trailer. We are excited to camp stress free with the knowledge we learned today.The store has all that you need, service is top notch.Not much more that I can say other than I only recommend this store for all your needs.We will ALWAYS go there for all our camping needs.Check them out and I bet you will be a life long shopper there also.P.S. We rented a camper for a festival at the Saginaw County Fairgrounds and had a great experience with Justin! He worked with us on a price and was very responsive to all our questions. Justin and Josh were right on time with delivery and showed us around the camper. As a non-experienced camper I would tell you that 30 gallons of fresh water doesn't last very long - even without taking showers =)
