This was our first visit to Lane Animal Hospital and I am so glad we switched vets. My dog loved Dr Holly and all the techs. He has some anxiety so it was great to see them baby him as much as we do. I also had some concerns and Dr Holly listend and made me feel much more educated and confident in decisions we are making for our dogs health.

We had our first appointment to establish care for our 5-month-old puppy Ginger. From the time we arrived, until the time we checked out was just delightful. Everything was beautifully clean, and the office was marvelously well-lit. Allison and Dr. Margaret were terrific and made sure to explain everything and answer any questions I had. Overall, just a fantastic experience.

I have gone to Lanes Hospital since 2009. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful with any concerns I have and it really goes a long way. I trust them with my pets. They understand how important they are to us. Thank you Lane Hospital!!! 😊

11/21/23Lane Animal Hospital Review:Hazel was taken in for Boarding appointment. Scheduling was easy, drop off went smoothly, & we were greeted by name of pet. Hazel was excited to be going into boarding. The next day we got a text telling us Hazel was doing well and behaving 🐶. Lane always takes good care of our dogs when we need to board them.10/4/22Rascal came in for 3 vaccinations. Technician greeted us at our car, asked a few questions and took Rascal inside for his shots. A few minutes later, Dr Fryburg brought Rascal out to my car and gave an overview of what he did for Rascal, that was so nice of him! We paid bill and off we went. I love Lane Animal Hospital, especially since they still provide curbside service. 😊

Always have a great experience. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices. Knowledgeable and caring staff and doctors. There are many other vets closer to us but we drive 30 minutes to Lane Animal Hospital for the level of care we receive.

They are not our regular vet, but because they are open til 7, they were still open when our dog needed emergency services. Top notch staff. Very caring and told us to bring her right in. The whole staff was wonderful from the front desk to the vet. I'd definitely take her back.

staff were kind, facility was clean, and prices weren't bad. jarrito usually hates going to the vet, but she didn’t meow or hiss at anyone like she usually did. she even let the vet touch her paws (which she NEVER lets anyone do.) i guess the vibes were right!

I would give zero stars if I could. I needed to have my 17 year old cat put down. She was dying and in pain. They would only do it if they could do an examination first for $50, then another $450 if they determined she needed to be put down. I would never let an animal suffer. This was totally ridiculous. In the end I took her to the emergency vet in Ann Arbor. She died before we got there. This place takes advantage of the situation. I will never go here again!Every other vets office would do this for $50-$75 without an office exam. They couldn't do it that late in the day either. You would think if you truly cared about an animal suffering you would be more inclined to help. The message I got from our phone call is you care more about making money then helping an animal in need.

Not impressed… my dog was great at the vet when we started going and now she is absolutely terrified. They muzzled her when showing no signs of aggression and she peed everywhere she was so scared. They handle very ruff… will not ever be seeing my animals ever!!! At a new vet now and my dog loves it.

My pups are two- and three-year olds and I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single interaction I've had with every single person at Lane Animal Hospital has been a good one. From the front desk clerks to the vet techs to the doctors, everyone has always been kind, respectful, accommodating, patient, sympathetic, honest, and friendly. We called explaining we had two yorkies. An older one with a bad back leg and a male that was aggressive. We were told the groomer could handle an aggressive dog. We took them in and got called to pick him up when we were 10 minutes away. When we came to pick up the older female that we told her we wanted her to have a teddy bear cut. She was cut extremely short & blotchy all over. Her nails were not even trimmed. The price for her was more than quoted. Would not recommend for dogs with disabilities or temperaments.

Really great place. The staff is super friendly and was so kind to my baby GG. GG had peri-care as his hair gets long. Too bad they don't do a full shave. Also he had his shots and they said he was amazing.

We took our elderly cat there because our normal vet, who does house calls, was out of town. They have good hours and were able to see our elderly cat promptly. They also keep a wide range of prescription meds and food in stock, which has turned out to be very helpful to us on a couple occasions!

We go to a different vet for animal care (moved recently kept going to old vet for check ups). We have used lane for boarding and grooming. The staff is friendly and my dog is well cared for. I can tell when she doesn't like where she has been. She is always full of energy when I pick her up. In a good way. Thanks Lane.

Very unprofessional. Brought a 6 week old kitten in who has never been vaccinated and the nurse asked to take my kitten in the back to have everybody touch it and say hi to it. Absolutely not. What is wrong with you people? You see a newborn kitten who's never been vaccinated and you think its a good idea to pass her around your office like some sort of toy? You people are disgusting. Don’t ever come here if you expect any sort of respect these people have none of it.

Dr. Margaret Lane took great care of our new puppy, Yogi, was very thorough, and took a lot of time with us to answer our questions and address all of our concerns.
