Literally stumbled onto this place while heading to the shops from the public parking lot! I'm so into historical buildings and this Farm Supply store reminded me very much of some of the stores we visited in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Great outdoor autumn display. If we hadn't parked where we did, we'd have missed this Chelsea, MI treasure!

I absolutely love this store! Always makes my day going in here. The staff/owners here are extremely nice. When I was 9 months pregnant she insisted on helping me load my car which was so nice of her. They have a great selection and good prices. I stopped going to Tractor Supply and gladly give all my business to this place now.

1st time in this store. Didn't know it was there and have been around Chelsea for 60 years.It's alot bigger than you think. Big selection of gardening, boutique unique home items,Pet foods, deer, chicken, foods.Rustic aged interior. A step back in time...Helen is a joy to converse with...She's the owner.

I really like the folks that own the store. They are very unreliable about following up on special orders. I+ they have n ever called their suppliers, because they always tell me they forgot. I have never received a call fromm then, though they promise to call within a week. I always have to pursue them to find out about availability. - usually takes a minimum of weeks, even when they apologize for forgetting saying they will call "today."- they forget again. The evidence they gave that this isn't true is their notebook where they write the request.Also store hours are not kept according to the .postings. I have waited almost an hour for them to open. I do not ever try to get there at "opening" any more, because they've never opened on time when I did. I suggested they change the hours as I was almost late getting to work. But they see nothing wrong with showing up late.So why a 3? - little professionalism, though very friendly: I don't believe they will change any of this, but I still shop there - closer and very friendly.

Best place for grow supplies, both indoor and outdoor. All the big name hydro fertilizers and the broadest array of organic nutes I've ever seen. Vast compost and soil selection. All the good organic and chemical fungicides and pesticides. They have grow lights, fans, trellis net, t posts, smart pots, pumps, timers, flood trays, etc literally everything you could need in the garden. Great selection of holistic pet supplies and most basic tools for the farm and homestead. Fresh local eggs, honey and maple syrup.

Um wow, they literally have everything you will ever need for gardening/soil/plants/animals. They have local honey and other goodies and the cutest welcome dog. Will definitely be back to buy all of my gardening supplies. Also the owners are extremely kind and so helpful.

Love it! Everything you need for backyard bird feeding or your pets and a good amount of horse needs. Hay. Feed. Muck Boots. Hard candy. Good conversation and usually a dog running around. Softener salt. Some fencing. And a train may go by or the Chelsea Clock Tower might ring. The wood floors are relaxing.

HK and staff are AMAZING! Always so friendly and she always goes out of her way to help me! If I need a new food, she will research it. She let me take home a dog jacket to see if it would fit my dog one day! Just awesome, small town business owners!

This is one of the few, small town, privately owned businesses trying to stay afloat in this ever changing, and growing, "big box" world we all live in. There is currently (7/2018) construction on Main St. blocking the main entrance to their parking lot. They are still open, it just takes an extra minute to go around the block and come in from the train station side. Please continue to support this hometown favorite while they are living the nightmare of construction. The owners are wonderful people, full of knowledge, and willing to go the extra mile to help a customer in need!

Great staff, huge selection of rabbit food compared to the other places I've been (they are mostly 50lb bags, but they're not expensive. You know what you're getting because they all have nutrition tags on them with the same format for easy comparison) also I like their dog.

Never been inside of the store but definitely plan on going soon. I just got off the phone with the gentleman that works there and he was very nice very professional and made it clear that each customer is important they have earned my business before I even step foot in the door.We refuse to do business with The competition Family Farm & Home in Chelsea they are unprofessional rude and have no knowledge of their product they also treat their employees like garbage

A step back in time yet right in stride with the times. Wide range of merchandise, from feed, seed, and plants to all sorts of locally produced items and so much inbetween. Proprietor is always very helpful and personable. Down home atmosphere.
