Not a good place to work, rather abusive towards their staffing. But their shopping experience is good and their selection is good if you don't mind paying more than anywhere else in town. Slow checkout process as well.

Family fare is a great grocery store to shop at. They have fresh produce and very friendly staff. Family fare has great sales and they also offer digital coupons through their rewards program,which has saved me alot of money. The store is always clean,well organized and always stocked. They also have a deli and alot of their foods are delicious,especially the fried chicken. We will continue coming back to shop

Prices seem good but no customer service. Store is very large so unless you go here all the time difficult to know if they have it. Customer service would help. Didn't find products I wanted so left without. 😔

We made a qucik stop here for some groceries. They had a good selection and had everything we needed. Check out was fast. No complaints. Could have been a little cleaner, but we went in just before closing, so they had had a full days traffic.

You'll always find fresh produce here and they always allows fundraising in the store like bake sales to support the community. It's a nice place to shop.

I love this store! Friendly employees and sale prices galore! Shout out to Gary and Scott for always helping me at the service counter for western unions, these 2 always make my day when I see them :) Jordan always goes the extra mile

Seems to have everything. If you get their card you can get great discounts off many things. Important to get their card before you start shopping. I did not know about card and bought something and paid regular price. Customer service was gracious enough to give me two dollars back. I now have their card.

Love the selection, the staff is quite helpful, no big pushy crowds nor empty shelves. The store could use another 10000 square feet and would still be cozy. Plus I get a discount on fuel. The last time, I saved $0.80 per gallon.

Love their store. There are just a couple of cashiers who always seem disinterested in interacting at checkout which makes me feel like I am imposing on them. And it is not because of the Corona virus. Their mannerisms have been displayed well before the virus became evident.

Well stocked supermarket, with friendly employees. Being from out of state, they may not have all my favorite brands, but they do have a very large selection. Produce and meat are fresh and well stocked. Prices seem to be a bit higher than back home, but that is to be expected in northern Michigan. Get their discount card, and shop the specials to save quite a bit of money.

It took me forever to find the right store but I've been digging through the Google to try to find the exact store I was at to leave this review. I had an AWFUL day, and I needed a quick place to grab something to eat for my mom who was travelling with me. It was getting late and we had just made the drive from Iron Mountain so we were tired and probably cranky. We stopped at Family Fare about a half hour before they closed. I HATE being that person, absolutely hate it. You know the one that sees everyone cleaning and starts asking for extra favours...we wanted something quick from the deli to make sandwiches. Duane had already cleaned and taken apart the meat slicer, IT WAS DRYING YOU GUYS!!! And he saw our tired, hungry faces and with the biggest, brightest, smile asked what he could get for us. Not one hint of resentment or agitation. He took his time cutting it the way we asked and even had some recommendations for places to have coffee the next morning. It was one of the most pleasant grocery store experiences that I've had, especially after my being a troublesome customer! Thanks Duane, hope you get a gold star!

We was at a Air bnb around the way . We went to this store everyday while we was there . It was convenient and good priced . Clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. Definitely made our trip easier.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORE! Why?They're so clean! The meat and produce is quite fresh, I ordered a cake for my son and the cake was amazing! Better whipped icing than Walmart! I save money every single visit on my YES card. Everything is so organized and labeled so well. The associates are very friendly and nice. When I walk in there it's with a smile and I walk out happy. Their bottle return area works most of the time as long as you're not putting in bottles and cans in the wrong way. The vibes of the customer service says "I'm happy to be working here and serving the public and I am treated well!" That's so rare these days! We rented their Bissell and it worked awesome and was very clean. There are always baskets and carts available. The staff works very hard and it shows! The store is easier to walk in and it's just a more peaceful shopping experience rather than Walmart. Shopping here feels like home always.
