Was treated very poorly by an employee of Charlevoix Dollar General on 1/1/24 her name was Amber she couldn’t help us on a gift card transaction when I was told from the gift card company that Dollar general where I bought the card from has to rescan and or have to contact their financial department to figure it out. So Amber the ball is in your court now sweetheart

Had a great experience at the store was able to find everything that I needed and the lady at the counter I think her name was amber had great customer service she even made me laugh even though I was having a rough day thank you for having amazing employees

Supposed to be a full time employee..... got part time hours and could not afford to feed my kids..... had a $58 dollar paycheck, so not worth the headache or traveling to work for a 4 hr shift which was a regular thing.....

Here have another negative review came in today 4/25/23 at 6pm girl running the register was not only not friendly but was also lazy i had to literally grab my receipt from the machine. She stood there and looked at me like i was an inconvenience to her.Sorry but if you hate your job and don't like working give your job to someone who does customers don't need your snotty attitude.

Rude male manager. Brings his young wild child son to work with him. Closes store early often. Latest new hire. Wears music head phones on floor and at register he is so rude! Not trained well. I won't go back! Will drive to Petoskey they are so kind and friendly there. They appreciate my business.

They have a sign for pop 3 for 9 becareful they will charge you full price it's not for all Pepsi products only for 3 different kinds that is not specified on the sign.

This Dollar General was a bit disorganized, however, they had ALL kinds of stuff! Great snacks for great prices. If movie theaters were open and I lived up here, this would be my go to stop before you hit up the theater! Great individually wrapped items, would be nice for trips. We even bought an acrylic paint set, paintbrushes while we were up North, we painted some rocks. Overall, 5 stars simply for all the drink and snack selections.

Very nice staff! Even with a customer being a complete jerk to them, they stayed professional. They didn't deserve that treatment. They were completely professional. Even the employee that had to clock in early from break because of this ugly-hearted woman that had no right to treat them that way! Well done ladies! I'm very impressed

I'm basing this review on three separate visits to this Dollar General. Most Dollar Generals I go into have poorly stock shelves, slow checkout lines, and all-around disorganized. This one was no different with the exception it was extraordinary filthy. I don't think they bother to clean the floor much. I recommend hitting the Rite Aid next door first to see if they have what you're looking for.

I did 99.9% of my grocery shopping here today. The new store is great. Clean, easy to maneuver, easy check out, no crowds, no lines and great low prices.

Had what I needed when I needed it. Came in from out If town and BC pizza next door didn't sell closed lid drinks to go. A quick stop here and problem solved!

Needs more space. Buy the empty spaces next door and allow for larger aisle, less congestion, and more area for people to get things when stock is being unloaded.

What a pig sty! Filthy floors, shelves empty and boxes and pallets on the floor. Not worth the few extra dollars you save by (trying to) shopping there! Where is the manager?

Note: Google you got it wrong. The location of this store is not on the otherside of the bridge on US 31, but located on M-66. It's located in the stip mall near Family Fair on the south side. Please update location.
