July, 2023 and our local Dollar General still has unexpected days with it's doors locked or closures hours before what's posted on their door. All of this as result of lack of employees 🤬I think it's time they pay employees what other local vendors pay their workers. No one wants to work for pennies, hence closures due to lack of employees.Upper Management can't see their greedy, penny pinching strategy is harming their brand. Who wants to shop at a store which may or may not be open upon arrival ???

Worked here and will just say management is awful and the amount they pay employees def doesn't compensate the amount of responsibilities they want to put on a worker.Disheveled and disorganized and some staff discourteous.

Nice store n people.. Sadly staff made goof, but company policies pevent the simple fix. Even throughout covid ive not seen a place where returning after you unfortunately discovered you were givin the wrong *behind the counter product* afrer walking out of the store.. your stuck with it. Unopened and product that is even 100% vacuum sealed. So in seconds can be sanitized. Its not staffs fault, must be a chain issue but i'd go to family doller 3 blocks away.. In fact to save myself 15 dollers they may help me wit my exchange this chain refuses too

Was good, a lot of good deals. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because the cashier was snobby and running around with someone else working there.

Manager was rude staff blocked allies stocking slow and store was super cold in winter. Fix this or keep losing customers.
