A good local place for food by the water with lots of choices for burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fried fish at decent prices. The outside dining area is nothing fancy but gives good views of the marina and boat ramp. We've watched ducks, swans, muskrats, and a beaver swimming in the water the several times we've been there. The inside is a little small and seems dark but we've always been able to get a seat outside. And to top it all off, the service is always great!

We stopped here after a hike near Detour. Like most UP places they have a great assortment of fish on the menu, but unlike those places they prepare delicious meals.My buddy had bluegill and I had Great lakes whitefish blackened.The baskets came with scratch made sauces, coleslaw and french fries.The food was excellent and the service as well.

Good bar food, friendly staff. The spinach artichoke dip was tasty but a bit runny, the chips were Very salty. Lots of onions on the sandwiches. Good location for viewing wildlife, especially the swans.

They have gluten free! I’ve been gluten free for years. While it’s not an allergy it definitely makes me sick if it ends up in my food. For the first time in a very long time. I was able to have fried fish at a restaurant. I was very happy with my fish. I love walleye. It was lightly breaded which was a bonus. The fries were what made me give 4 stars. I wish they were crisp. We also ordered the perch which was not gluten free but they also weren’t overly breaded. Thank you for a great meal y’all! Kitchen closed at 9pm. The ladies working were friendly and stayed on top of making sure we had all we needed!

Absolutely wonderful breakfast! Also went for dinner, had their steak bites and portobello fries, MUST TRY!!!! Just the best! Staff were very attentive and polite! Highly recommended for comfortable easy setting.

Cute bar & grill.We sat outside on the deck and watched the boats dock. Service was a little slow but after we sat down they got packed (5pm), people where standing and waiting for tables to open. Good food! The Cajun steak bites where good but watch out for the spice 😋

Discovered this hideaway while in town from SF for a wedding and kept coming back. It doesn’t look like much, but has the best California wrap and breakfast burrito with a view!

DONT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE FLIES AND TERRIBLE SERVICE!Stopped in with my husband for an early dinner and sat at a table. The place was busy but not slammed. We didn’t get greeted or even acknowledged for a solid 10 minutes. Finally a girl working the bar said “I’ll be right with you.” Then a group of people came and sat at the bar and she served them first!It took 20 minutes just for drinks that were watered down. The food was decent, won’t complain there. But we were harassed by hoards of flies because they kept the back door wide open. Flies were buzzing around my face, my food, my hair, etc. It was DISGUSTING!I’ve been a bartender in some very high end and some very low end places and I’ve NEVER let someone sit that long with such terrible service. These employees made it clear they didn’t care about customer retention or earning tips.We left and went across the street where the service was immediate and the drinks were on point. Do not waste your time or money at this dump. If I’m wrong, management or need to have a serious talk to staff.

This is a restaurant/bar establishment in a very small town. We have been eating here every summer for years when we're in the area. They have the best food around! Their blackened whitefish is delicious. They are located in a great spot on the water. On a nice night it is so lovely taking advantage of their outdoor seating. Cattail Cove is our family's first choice for dinner in Cedarville.

Read the reviews sounded good.Ordered the white fish dinner.The fish was cold.Baked potato was not much better.Looked for the waitress... no where to be found.She finally checked on us when we were halfway through the Luke warm food.When I told her about the cold fish her answer was, " I took it from the broiler right to your table. ", implying it could not be cold. Even my husband did not finish his fish or potato and he eats everything.Would not go there again.

Drove our boat from St Ignace to the municipal dock in Cedarville. First time eating here. The whitefish was amazing. My wife liked the perch too. Will definitely go back and recommend this restaurant

This restaurant /bar is right on the waters edge near the harbor. It's a fairly quiet spot. The fish is fresh. The coleslaw is fantastic. My servers were Susan and Amy. Both of them were really friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!

I loved the perch dinner. The fish was delicious and breaded and fried well. My wife had the all you can eat wings special. Her wings were good, be she wasn't a fan of the buffalo sauce, it's was more like regular hot sauce than she prefers. And it has a great view!

The food was good and eating outside was nice. The bar inside was a bad atmosphere. There was a lot of swearing and didn't seem safe for young kids. The bathrooms are very strange with one of the stall doors being a shower curtain.
