My husband and I went here for breakfast and split one of the skillets. It was the perfect size and we upgraded the toast to pecan pancakes that were delicious. We also asked for extra crispy potatoes in the skillet and they were spot on. All the staff was friendly and welcoming.Also, the prices are great.

This place gets 4 stars instead of 3 because the owner is loved and known by everyone and stops by your table to check on you. The atmosphere is typical for a diner in this area, clean but dated. The food and, more importantly, food prices, are what I have issue with. I don’t expect much from breakfast places around here but even my low expectations were not met here. I wasn’t feeling super hungry when I went so I ordered their lentil soup (pictured) which was around $6 with tax. It was watery, not super flavorful, and not bursting with ingredients. Since it has no animal protein and was light on the other ingredients, it basically tasted like broth with a few lentils. I know this is a breakfast place so I also tried my friends omelet. It was good but clocking it at almost $13 I just don’t think it was worth it. Altogether, with tax and tip, a bowl of soup and omelet cost $25. I understand this is a local place but if you’re looking for good food and prices and are willing to drive, I would go elsewhere.

Just what you should expect from a home town, mom and pop type, family restaurant. We stopped in on a Saturday morning. It was lovely to come in and sit in a nice booth that was clean and ready for service. Got our drinks very quickly. Our waitress, who I believe is the owner, was wonderful and kind. We left happy and full of deliciousness.

Love the owners. Family business. Great food. Good prices. Family atmosphere. Don't come in acting a fool. Be nice to your servers and tip them. I'm glad they are there and have been for well over 15 years. I'm a little bit of a better person by knowing the owners and from people in that town. Id go there for every meal and almost always be satisfied with the portions and quality, as well as timely service. 9.6,/10 out of 10 being my grandmas kitchen.

I called there to place a to go order and whoever they have working and answering the phones is rude. I’ve worked in restaurants for 10+ years and hospitality/ customer service is just as important as the food you are serving. Was really taken back by the woman’s attitude as I was placing an order for myself and fellow employees as a treat from our Boss. If it were up to me I wouldn’t be choosing the place again because of the rude service over the phone.

Every small town in America needs a great place for breakfast and lunch. A place where locals and visitors can mix with the common experience of great food and welcome service for a taste of America. The Broadway Cafe is exceptionally so! Worth the drive.

Broadway Cafe in Cassopolis, MI is wonderful. Sunday morning was busy and crowded. All seats were filled except for a long table that we shared with a family. Coffee was immediately available and our food order was taken soon after. Recommend the Greek Omlet. Perfectly cooked with fresh eggs, vegetables and cheeses. Our coffee cups were never empty so attentive was the waitstaff. Highly recommend Broadway Cafe.

This hometown cafe has a very extensive menu. The tuna melt was fantastic and my husband raved about the chicken sandwich. We also had the potato soup and it was outstanding. The service is extremely friendly and we will definitely be back.Parking: Street Parking

They are always busy because the food is great and the owner's are so very friendly! My late husband and I ordered breakfast from them regularly and even as busy as they were they were always staffed adequately so that we did not wait long. The portions are large, the food is good and the prices are reasonable! Highly recommend The Broadway Cafe :)

It's a smaller establishment but the service as a result was rather good. The thing to note about this place was portion size, my girlfriend ordered a salad and got a bowl almost as large as her. Her father got a steak that comes with 4 eggs on the side, the kids menu was correctly sized as well as my burger but some of the menu was for people who like to eat! In terms of price though it wasn't overly priced, I'd argue the opposite, you get more than you pay for. I'd eat here again.
