Great resort to stay at when you are visiting Northern Michigan, Mackinaw City area. Very nice and clean rooms with all the amenities you would need on vacation. Plenty of towels, big refrigerator and cooking area, etc. Cable tv and connecting rooms if needed. Very welcoming and close to everything in the area. Reasonable rates. You won’t regret staying here. Check them out!!

We’re about to check out and both agree we’d return anytime we’re headed up north - it’s a great stopping point before the bridge. We appreciate the ease of check in since we were arriving around 10pm, I just called earlier to get my room # and code. This is an impressively stocked room with paper plates, silverware, microwave & full fridge and freezer combo which saved us since we traveled without a real cooler. Thank you for being dog friendly! Also the minimal decor and cleanliness are 100%. Nice updated bathroom and comfy bed with blackout curtains.

Booked a one night stay while passing through and it was perfect. Rooms and bedding and fridge were all very clean. Bathroom was also very clean. Fridge was large which was helpful since we had 4 of us and we were carrying a lot of picnic supplies. Location is great - right among tall pines and across the street from a quiet lake with a small beach. The lake bottom is sandy and was nice to walk in after a long day. Road behind the motel is a little busy but not bad. The general store across the street had great coffee and bakery in the morning. Check in was a breeze. Just called the number on the office sign to organize the room code. Would definitely stay again as it is very close to Mackinaw City and has a beautiful lake to enjoy without all the tourist-y noise.

Very easy check-in. I loved the nautical theme of the room. We had been just looking for a place to spend one night on the way home from vacation, but I wish that we had been staying for more than one night because the room was very well appointed and you easily could spend your vacation there. It had a full-sized refrigerator and freezer, lots of supplies. Real coffee mugs for coffee. The host was very nice. They have a spot down by the lake with boats that you can use. And it's very conveniently located to all sorts of fun up north activities.

Chad was a wonderful host and easy to work with. Super biker friendly place. The place was clean, quiet and everything worked accordingly. Quiet, quaint and convenient. There are 2 places to eat within walking distance and small convenience store across the main road. Check in early in the day to take advantage of Chad's amenities and enjoy time on the lake.

Beautiful place, the owner takes better care of the rooms than the people that have the fancy cabins in Mackinaw City. It's about a 10 minute ride from Mackinaw city, and you can't beat his prices. You have access to free kayaks, a fire pit, a couple of grills, he provides a dishes, silverware, towels, a little dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, paper towels, and of course toilet paper. If you run out of something, you can call or text him, and he brings more. It is well worth the money. That is why it is called "Paradise Resort ".

I really enjoyed my stay here. The owner is friendly and I loved the quick check in process. The rooms were clean and cute.The downside of the rooms is the beds are very firm as well as the pillows, I recommend bringing your own pillows if you like a softer or down filled. The water doesn't stay hot for long, so keep that in mind when planning to shower with multiple people in a room.I loved the use of the lake access and the boats.

Beautiful area, nice clean rooms. I love how there is lake access even though the rooms aren't on the same side of the road. They do offer pedal boats, kayaks, and canoes; however neither of the pedal boats work well. The steering in one didn't work at all and the other has to have someone manually turning the rudder. Overall, I would stay again

Fantastic property. Greatrenovated rooms, quiet, CLEAN, pet friendly, private lake access across the street with small beach, bonfire pit, swing. New owner Chad is great.Seemed most people utilized this motel as a sleep spot for exploring Mackinaw and the island, but we spent three days here just enjoying the peace of lake and clear night sky, kayaking, fishing.

I had a great stay at Paradise resort. Love the motel nice clean renewed :-)canoe,kayaks are for free to use .Very close to Mackinaw city (6-7 miles) and to beautiful beach at Cross Lake with nice and clear lake (12 miles) Will come back again for sure. My second time august 2022 still my favorite place to stay :-) I will come back next year

Truly a great little piece if Paradise. Freshly renovated and very clean. Everything is new. The beach is just across the street. Row boats, paddle boats and canoes are provided for no extra charge. Fire pits on the beach and a couple near the building. With a horseshoe pit and corn hole provided. Firewood is also available for no extra charge. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. This place will be visited by our family again in the future.

Perfect little place! Lake across the tiny street is great-- dock, canoes, a kayak, firepit. Restaurant on the lake just a short walk. Only 15 min south of Mackinaw City. My family loved it here. Highly recommend!

Excellent location for fun and relaxation. The owner is one of a kind, she truly cares about making your stay enjoyable. The lake is GORGEOUS. This is a place you can slip away to and leave all of your worries behind. We have three kids and every piece of our stay was family friendly.
