it is a good store. especially for meats and fresh produce. you really can save a bundle of money in there. almost entirely very competent and helpful staff. they have been moving some things around in there. so you may want to schedule a few extra minutes if you aren't there very often.

Nice store nice people and clean.One great thing is everything they can is made in the US. Witch is most of the stuff they sell.The meat they sell is fresh, unlike other stores around, which are prepackaged and shiped there.I have never been in here where there are carts or pallets of food all over the place.The very few times I have seen things to be stocked have always had a person with it and not left.Like all stores now, you have to price everything.

A lot of people I talk to always mention how long it takes to shop for groceries. They get distracted by people they know and get distracted with all of the other things outside of grocery items. Save A Lot is one of three grocery stores in Caro. They are different than the other two because it is smaller in size and has only grocery items. There might be a few things that aren't grocery, but for the most part it's all grocery. Prices are great and staff is friendly! If you want to get in and out quickly, try shopping her for a change!

Save-a-Lot has become my new favorite place to shop for food. I love their prices and i love the brand's that i have tried so far. They offer a great selection of fresh cut meats and the produce is good too. The selections are fewer than the "bigger" stores, but i feel the quality far outweighs the fewer selections!! Overall i highly recommend Save-a-Lot! And i do "save a lot" when i shop here!

Staff was excellent and breakfast area was clean with nice selection and biscuits and gravy were excellent. The building is a bit outdated as are the rooms. Disappointed pool are does not have hot tub.

It has good prices. I love the meat there, very tasty. The only sad thing is there is not a huge variety, which I'm sure keeps their prices down. Make sure you bring in your own bags to put your groceries in, i'm sure that is another reason their prices are lower.

Jessie in the meat department is awesome!!! Always willing to help out a customer.....but I wish I could say the same for the lady who waited on me at the register. I had maybe 10 items if that while checking out I used what I thought was my debit card. It wasn't it was the wrong card. There for wouldn't work said declined twice at this time I was omgsh why is this declined I have money I. My account. As this is happening the cashier is complaining well you gotta figure it out or something and making loud breathing sounds like i am bothering her durining this. I realized I had the wrong card. I said I'm sorry I grabbed wrong one. I go to use my other card she is now being rude because she has to ring my stuff back up.i can say as a person who has worked in customer service you do not treat people that way . I think a little more compassion toward others its your job

Save-A-Lot is a good store with great prices on a lot of groceries. It is a budget store, so sometimes the quality of some of the products isn't so great; nothing wrong per se, just not tasty. It's a clean store, though, and most things are good.
